- In every game or franchise that has gone on for years, the power level of the universe gets higher and higher, and what was once a very powerful character isn't as comparatively powerful anymore. The Battle Cats is no exception, and in this video, I talk about some more examples of Powercreep Over the Years.

It is absurd how many cats have been good, but almost completely forgotten from the new cats that been recently added.

@@kaynor1260 you get the egg by beating 5 behemoth culling stages (hidden forest of gapra is extremely easy so getting the egg isnt a problem) and the true form only needs 5 purple and red stones, which are the easiest stones to get
courier is also a rare so maxing them is really easy, and doesnt rely on talents so you dont have to spend NP
It would be nice to see a video explaining wave shields as a whole, since the release of Octo not only beat units, it certainly made originally hard levels, like Darkweb and Rickety Coaster, a breeze thanks to Octo spammability and the fact that those levels were made without such a powerful unit in mind. But otherwise, great analysis.
What a nice video. Knowing a little about the history of battle cats it's very important.

(13:18) I come to talk that I disagree with this announcement, since the mission to obtain Mushroom cat is completing 30 unique behemoth culling stages but there's a trick: you CAN use continues on those stages, so if your pocket can hold the pain you can actually obtain Mushroom cat earlier (I only used continues in the stages with Rajakong)

Could you do a video on the current metagame and an idealised loadout for each trait? With new units, collabs and talents, and basically no one updating tier lists anymore, I feel there's few videos on the current optimized uber/legend carry meta.

Trying to make a ‘general loadout’ for an entire trait is difficult. Ubers likely wouldn’t be considered since that wouldn’t be fair, but then how would it work? You could make a simple anti-red loadout, but what about berkerkory? There’s no anti-red non-Uber wave shields. And what about Hackey? That’s not even mentioning how pure-traited stages are almost non-existent these days
Another kick in Jizo’s stone statue is that pizza less rare than Jizo
one of the reasons exeggutor probably fell off so insanely hard was because of U-turn, a very common move that was 4x effective against it and was accessible to lots of pokemon, even outside the bug typing. but yeah it also the addition of other pokemon filling its role better
While I'm not the biggest fan of the jizo pizza comparison, it is a better comparison than courier. The only problem with it is that they are very very different units but in the end you are just gonna use them both in black stages anyway lol so no use arguing
The reason why they are so different is recharge speed so it all matters if the stage is money tight

cat machine was severely powercreeped but is still viable as an anti alien and anit red tank vs things like one horn, the alien croco, which is spammed and other menaces even before true form

This video is great like always and the opinions and facts feel more formal and less yelling and actually feels good to watch and some sections like wave shielders is kind of powercreeped however most wave shielders are either ubers,collab units (eva unit im looking at you) or special event units but octopus cat is definitely the start of wave shield being more accessible whihc controversial but i think is good cuz most wave shielders are as you have shown are Uber's mostly
The kasa jizo debate is very much worth cuz pizza cat is a much better jizo and i found jizo better in his 2nd form but 1st is good for cheapness but for competitors are mushroom,gas mask cat, courier and a few more like lil gau for defense though collab unit shouldn't count much since not everyone owns them nor evolutions and the last paet about heavenly tower floor 30 was pretty hard since wave attacks were new all those few years ago but as time went on it has been easier for new players to beat it and even change the set up for the stage but as canned juice has stated that floor 30 is a fun stage so yeah this comment is long but worthy to look and comment on additional details missing or worth to bring into the discussion even if it's so small

Power creep is very evident like floor 30 i got doom engine pandora before floor 30 when i got there i no diffed that stage so easy it ruined the experience for me but i did get satisfied by beating it so easily

Emma's just flat out garbage honestly, she could be decent if she didn't have an absurd amount of knockbacks making her more effective as a tank. High Knockback in a wave blocker unit is a bad trait because they can't block waves while they are being knocked back. Secondly Emma's overall health means nothing when technically speaking she only has ~20k health per knockback which means she'll do more juggling than actually protecting your units making her a glorified meatshield at best. Lastly her low dps that can go even lower if she can't hit all of her attacks is arguably an even worse trait to have on any tank or frontline unit in general aside from meatsheilds or crowd controller because she can't kill anything attacking her meaning she'll take even more damage and thus reducing her tanking capabilities into even more juggling until death.
So they make a neneko good, cool

Don't forget that we also have Ushiwakamaru for anti angel, while due to the fact that he's EXTREMELY rare, he hasn't power crept jizo *too* much, but if you have him, he's a better anti-angel than jizo is.
