Cool video. I was wondering why you didn’t use castaway cat for any of the levels? I went and tried using him for the floating island and beat it in 4 attempts. Level was 38+2 and no true form, but I did have all the treasures that help against aliens from this chapter and the next. Can’t wait for the next video, it’s amazing how much dedication you have to this challenge :)
Here's an idea for another challenge like this,Can you beat into the future without upgrading any cats? (basically you can't upgrade any cats with xp you have to get dupes to level them up also u are obviously still allowed to true form stuff if you even get 29 duplicates of a single cat.

Despite this being my third or fourth time watching this, somehow I only just realized this: The reason we weren't shown what pulls were obtained from the elemental pixies was because of Lumina. Not just that, but soup used the acquisition of Aer to completely troll us before revealing Bora in order to distract potential attention to the fact that something else may've happened in that fateful 11 pull. Absolutely brilliant editing, Soup, this video truly is a masterpiece.
I can't tell if the shakiness of his voice when explaining Lumina is from the pure excitement of pulling out his ace or from the deranged mental state he is probably in but AMAZING kudos for trying a single stage 1000+ times. Tbh, I would've given up on the fifthteen try and call it quits
His voice was not just shaky, but it was also much slower and "breathy". Sort of like he read the entire script in one take and his vocals were unsure of what tone to stay on.
This man took one year "off" to grind away at the game (and his sanity) to make a masterpiece of a 2 hour challenge video, I'm glad you're back, and with a banger nonetheless :D
Instead of doing just the main levels with one cat, he even went through every other level like the xp and fruit levels with one cat. This level of dedication is unparalleled
I swear at almost the end of the video he sounded so insane than most of the crazed cats in the game, understandable enough from all the grinding you literally deserve everyones respect

I look at this and my mind is blown. I'm ADHD so I could never do this. The most i could get is like two days. watching this alone was a huge task for me so i can't even fathom how much effort this took. I agree.
The fact that he had luma or whatever her name was and only used it on chapter 2 moon just so the challenge would be fair this man is more insane than light Yagami from death note, and I respect that.
Chapter two floating continent if he used a different cannon it would’ve been easier and since that was the closest and lunala can go up to level 30-40 it might be possible to beat chapter three
This man really knows how to make people feel the way he felt. I felt the emotions he felt as he struggled, and as he won. His narration is peak-perfect, and the editing is astounding. The amount of effort this must have taken both gameplay-wise and editing-wise is more than worth the wait we had to go through to get this. After all of his struggles and hard work, our legend Souptasta can finally rest, knowing he has done the impossible. Keep up the great work, Souptasta, I will always recognize you as one of the best Battle Cats players out there.
The grinding, dedication, humor and brilliant thinking makes this video such a masterpiece. The way you explain things, show us your thinking, and work so hard just lifts this to another level. 5 stars, would watch over any movie

I can't belive it, he did a WHOLE movie just for this. How very creative. His voice got real stress from time to time. I can tell it looks easy for us. But in reality, He's been threw hell. He's in a total of 1,900 tries... He managed to create one GIANT loop and co.pleted his quest.NICE JOB!!!!
i know how hard this video was but it was so painful seeing souptasta be so stupid and not just use the wave cannon which would do the 1% damage to kill the alien bore in chapter 2 instead of using the slow beam (does no damage)
I am absolutely floored. Was addicted to the entire 2 hour ride and every minute was worth it. Definitely a legendary video that deserves a like if I've ever seen one. I love the character of your voice, and think you could absolutely do some solid voice acting work. As much as I love this video and how much insane effort was put into it, I had to increase the video playback speed by 1.25, 1.5 and even 1.75 near the end because of how consistently he slows down his talking throughout. That aside, amazing video, truly a legendary accomplishment. All these views are more than deserved, and then some.
I do not regret tuning in to watch the video as I used to watch some Battle Cats related content in the past. And this video's title reeled me in, the commentary and execution made me stick to the end. The clever and tense cliffhangers worked great. Just a well thought out from start to the end. :D Will surely come for more, with subscribing aswell.

Its actually insanity that this man spent over half a year of his life grinding a challenge that he dedicated so much of his time to just to make us entertained, and 2 hours for a video is literally longer than a normal movie.

the sheer dedication of this man. he spent weeks, maybe even months, trying the same battle over and over, just because he had the smallest chance of success, even though the entire time he had a much easier way. I can't even comprehend how much willpower that would take.
This video really made me feel a lot of things. As a person, I felt very concerned for Soupasta's health and mental state and wanted to know he would be alright. As a gamer, I felt the awe and distress of seeing a man dedicate 1500 games into beating one stage and succeeding in impossible odds and also finishing a challenge without cheating or making things easier for himself. Kudos to you Soupasta. And as a Battle cats player I felt like this idea was ridiculous (its all about the synergy of the cat army... the synergy!!!!).
For my money this is one of the best challenge videos for any game, period The sheer effort put into this video is off the charts, absolutely insane work on this my guy
This IS the hardest video game challenge i ever seen. Never seen a guy losing their insanity by playing a cat battle game and this took a ALOT of time to complete the challenge. No RUclipsr will replicate a video like this guy.
I know this was posted a year ago but I only just stumbled upon it but I remember playing battle cats in highschool and I remember aliens being crazy challenging so doing it with only 1 cat is beyond impressive. Glad you stuck it out though, might've needed therapy after but I'm sure it was very rewarding to know that everything you worked for you were able to acomplish.
@@bliutusdivaisYou're lying. You can't beat from korea to mount aku in 2 hours or so. 5 stages are randomly selected and 3 are chosen. If you were in korea, it would be a low chance of getting mount aku because the less aku seal you have, the less chance of getting more complicated stages. Also, your aku seal would be too low that your cat units wouldn't stand s A chance AND you need to wait 1 or so hours for the stages to reroll.
@JaviXDWasa I just did the math and yeah I don't think it will work since a level 40 lumina will die before you can get another one and a level 50 should last long enough to get another lumina but he would have to beat an ancient curse for that

This man is crazy. I watched 2 hours of him play battle cats and his commentary made it very enjoyable, throughout this master piece I felt every emotion know to man. Sadness, Joy, Anger , Despair, Hope I could go on. He explained and taught me new strategies throughout this video all while still entertaining me. At the end he had brought back something he had foreshadowed to us, His legend rare he had obtained, this plot twits had me going crazy, this deserves everything in the world. 100/10

respect man, respect. u literally spent months, possibly even a year beating the two itf chapters, playing each stage hundreds or even thousands of times . all that effort and time put into clearing the stages as well as as editing is just… wow… u didnt even use lumina, your most op cat, that u had since the BEGINNING, to cheese any stage, until u really needed it. she wasnt even used when u struggled with the floting continent itf 2 for literally over 2-3 months. u really put in your upmost effort to entertain all of us. mad respect for that.
@@FunniWunni and also frickin bahamut on moon Massive health (lower than Valkyrie if you get all treasures) Massive DPS Speed of 60 No way It's possible to beat that If Bora lvl 40 has 69740 HP and bahamut deals something around 38 thousands of damage per second (including having all crystals)to kill Bora it will tak him two sec. Bora animation takes 8sec which means BORA WILL NEVER DO ANY DAMAGE TO HIM. let's take a look at doktor heaven he has 187000 health and gets only 1/6 damage from bahamut making it up to 1122000 health pretty high, right? Well bahamut would beat him in HALF A MINUTE. Also Doktor heaven makes only 9874 DPS which would take 124 seconds for him to beat bahamut, which can beat doktor FOUR TIMES during this. Well one time I saw video which took cyborg cat against every moon level cyborg cat needed two meat shields to be able to win. Profesor Abyss has the same stats as Doktor heaven which takes us to conclusion that to beat bahamut it took 25 seconds but to be beaten only 6. It makes all cats used in video IMPOSSIBLE to beat alone bahamut on their own. Only way there would be if in future update there would be true form of doktor heaven which doesn't need epic cat fruit seed and any elder fruit. Also this form would need to leave stats untouched (or better) and include both talents of doktor heaven and professor abyss. Only with that unit you would be able to do this without cheating it would take 25 seconds to kill bahamut 30 seconds to lose and he would be knockedback 2 times every 10 seconds only from bahamut Ok I didn't finished watching and I didn't knew he had legendary

@@marktheshark5733 I mean he’s been working for 1 year and a few months too do this he has luminia the way i beat moon solo was getting luminia like + 10 from rare tickets the only way to do that is by tracking or a 2 in a1 in a million chance rng and before on his latest video he said that tracking was apart oh his only 2 rules but then about 30 mins into the video he explained that without tracking it would take multiple years and tracking can make it a lot easier so I also claimed a few treasures in cotc which will be extremely hard bc of the restrictions on the stages but if he manages to beat it will be much easier as 20% health drop for aliens and 20% damage nerf as well will be importan it may take him well over 100 attempts but if he has pixel perfect rng therefore it may just barely be possible but as I have said before it still will take him multiple years months weeks and days to do this so therefore he probably won’t use catfood
This was the single greatest piece of art I have ever seen made out of a challenge video, the way it’s narrated, the order in which events happen and the raw emotion being delivered left and right during every try, fail and finally success has been the greatest thing I’ve ever seen. This video’s length being compared to that of a movie did not make my attention or interest waver a single time, I can tell for sure that this video is the single greatest piece of work I have seen yet, AMAZING WORK SOUPTASTA!!!
10/10 video It is the perfect story, the ups and downs are so dramatic, the plot twists so intense, I literally shed 6 tears watching it. Accompanying these feelings was the happiness I felt when I saw that the GOAT posted a new video. Beautiful, just the best thing I've seen in the world.
@@A62643 I don't think it's gonna be a challenge cause most of cotc stages are full of restriction => The stage gonna be harder but also the enemy gonna be weaker, but since he's doing the *ONE SLOT* only challenge, those restriction almost doesn't affect into his gameplay while the enemy in the stage is gonna be easier, so i think the only hard part for him is stages with no restriction => the enemy gonna be super strong like The Big Bang!
If you listen to souptasra in the beginning and in the end, you can get a fast example of difference between healthy human and an exhausted prisoner that haven't eaten for last decade
Just watched this whole video I can’t imagine how much dedication it takes to create such an amazing video like this. The time it took to beat the game was impressive but the video itself was well made and I enjoyed every second of it 10/10 😃
the feat is impressive but i absolutely hated how slow he talked, he was literally just padding for time at that point. speed the video up to x2 speed at 1:42:00 and it just sounds like how a normal person speaks. he also kept pausing inbetween every fucking word, but other than that, entertaining video.
That was absolutely legendary. I don't even play battle cats and have no idea why this was reccomended to me, but this was a journey worth watching, and an excellent story. Good shit my man, and amazing dedication
I come back to this video every few months. Every time, i'm exited again because this is a fricking masterpiece. I'm so exited for the next part of one slot battle cats. I hope it's gonna come out before 2024.
I think you might have missed something… volta would probably be even better for this challenge as simply stacking either two of his evolved forms or 4 of his first forms he could simply perks freeze the boss and slowly destroy it. This would be better because the dps of Volta wouldnt matter if the boss is frozen, since Volta could just take his time beating it. Volta also has great survivability since it also has resistant to alien, but on top of that, the freeze would allow him to survive over twice as long as the other Ubers in the set. If volta gets the boss perma frozen it’s basically gg, and his true form would give you even more freeze uptime and hp to make stacking two of him even easier, if all else fails his first form would be almost guaranteed to win with brute force since stacking two would be very easy you would just have to get lucky enough for Volta to temporarily freeze the boss (with a 50% freeze it shouldn’t take too many attempts) while you stack enough to constantly freeze for the rest of the level. If you try chapter three you should rely a bit more on status abilities, as it doesn’t matter what stats the cats have if they can’t be attacked anyway. Major props to getting this far though. That took some serious dedication, way to go!
The sheer dedication you had just to make this video more interesting. Honestly did an amazing job at that. The last hour or so had me at the very edge of my seat up until you pulled out lumina. I've never felt more nervous watching a video than I have watching that winning attempt on floating continent. Kudos to you :D
This has got to be one of the best-EST videos I have ever seen in my life, I recently got into battle cats but your videos are keeping me hooked on the masterpiece it is and the artists(whether it be creators or guidemakers) the fandom has to offer. This was probably one of the best 2 hour videos I've ever watched. The story was compelling, the editing was nice, and there was so much heart and effort poured into everything in this video, from the simple stages, to the floating continent in chapter 2. I can't believe such quality content has come from such a small youtuber, but it really goes to show anybody can aspire to do anything if they truly try their hardest. I think the crazy thing about this is that if you just showed the winning attempts for all these levels without explaining how many tries they took or the very specific intricacies of each level, most people would just be like “wow that’s a strong uber look at it effortlessly beat this stage makes it look so easy”

You can hear, no, FEEL him start to descend into madness. This man committed a year to a challenge of a game that wasn't designed for it. As much as I love this video and how much insane effort was put into it, I had to increase the video playback speed by 1.25, 1.5 and even 1.75 near the end because of how consistently he slows down his talking throughout.

This video really made me feel a lot of things. As a person, I felt very concerned for Soupasta's health and mental state and wanted to know he would be alright. As a gamer, I felt the awe and distress of seeing a man dedicate 1500 games into beating one stage and succeeding in impossible odds and also finishing a challenge without cheating or making things easier for himself. Kudos to you Soupasta. And as a Battle cats player I felt like this idea was ridiculous (its all about the synergy of the cat army... the synergy!!!!).

I know this was posted a year ago but I only just stumbled upon it but I remember playing battle cats in highschool and I remember aliens being crazy challenging so doing it with only 1 cat is beyond impressive. Sadness, Joy, Anger , Despair, Hope I could go on. He explained and taught me new strategies throughout this video all while still entertaining me. If Bora lvl 40 has 69740 HP and bahamut deals something around 38 thousands of damage per second (including having all crystals)to kill Bora it will tak him two sec. Bora animation takes 8sec which means BORA WILL NEVER DO ANY DAMAGE TO HIM.
let's take a look at doktor heaven he has 187000 health and gets only 1/6 damage from bahamut making it up to 1122000 health pretty high, right? Well bahamut would beat him in HALF A MINUTE. Also Doktor heaven makes only 9874 DPS which would take 124 seconds for him to beat bahamut, which can beat doktor FOUR TIMES during this.
Well one time I saw video which took cyborg cat against every moon level cyborg cat needed two meat shields to be able to win.
Profesor Abyss has the same stats as Doktor heaven which takes us to conclusion that to beat bahamut it took 25 seconds but to be beaten only 6. It makes all cats used in video IMPOSSIBLE to beat alone bahamut on their own.
Only way there would be if in future update there would be true form of doktor heaven which doesn't need epic cat fruit seed and any elder fruit. Also this form would need to leave stats untouched (or better) and include both talents of doktor heaven and professor abyss. Only with that unit you would be able to do this without cheating it would take 25 seconds to kill bahamut 30 seconds to lose and he would be knockedback 2 times every 10 seconds only from bahamut

This was the single greatest piece of art I have ever seen made out of a challenge video, the way it’s narrated, the order in which events happen and the raw emotion being delivered left and right during every try, fail and finally success has been the greatest thing I’ve ever seen. @@A62643 I don't think it's gonna be a challenge cause most of cotc stages are full of restriction => The stage gonna be harder but also the enemy gonna be weaker, but since he's doing the *ONE SLOT* only challenge, those restriction almost doesn't affect into his gameplay while the enemy in the stage is gonna be easier, so i think the only hard part for him is stages with no restriction => the enemy gonna be super strong like The Big Bang!

the feat is impressive but i absolutely hated how slow he talked, he was literally just padding for time at that point. speed the video up to x2 speed at 1:42:00 and it just sounds like how a normal person speaks. he also kept pausing inbetween every fucking word, but other than that, entertaining video.

I think you might have missed something… volta would probably be even better for this challenge as simply stacking either two of his evolved forms or 4 of his first forms he could simply perks freeze the boss and slowly destroy it. This would be better because the dps of Volta wouldnt matter if the boss is frozen, since Volta could just take his time beating it. Volta also has great survivability since it also has resistant to alien, but on top of that, the freeze would allow him to survive over twice as long as the other Ubers in the set. If volta gets the boss perma frozen it’s basically gg, and his true form would give you even more freeze uptime and hp to make stacking two of him even easier, if all else fails his first form would be almost guaranteed to win with brute force since stacking two would be very easy you would just have to get lucky enough for Volta to temporarily freeze the boss (with a 50% freeze it shouldn’t take too many attempts) while you stack enough to constantly freeze for the rest of the level. If you try chapter three you should rely a bit more on status abilities, as it doesn’t matter what stats the cats have if they can’t be attacked anyway. Major props to getting this far though. That took some serious dedication, way to go!

This has got to be one of the best-EST videos I have ever seen in my life, I recently got into battle cats but your videos are keeping me hooked on the masterpiece it is and the artists(whether it be creators or guidemakers) the fandom has to offer. I am blessed to have seen this 2 hour ride fully for myself. Thank you, I wish I could give you everything but I've got nothing :(

This was probably one of the best 2 hour videos I've ever watched. The story was compelling, the editing was nice, and there was so much heart and effort poured into everything in this video, from the simple stages, to the floating continent in chapter 2. I can't believe such quality content has come from such a small youtuber, but it really goes to show anybody can aspire to do anything if they truly try their hardest. Great work souptasta, and thank you for saving the best cat for the very end, because it was very satisfying to see lumina absolutely obliterate the corrupted valkyrie after so much hard work

I think the crazy thing about this is that if you just showed the winning attempts for all these levels without explaining how many tries they took or the very specific intricacies of each level, most people would just be like “wow that’s a strong uber look at it effortlessly beat this stage makes it look so easy”
