A really nice collection, I collect Golden Age comics myself although I’d never slab them and instead just keep them in Mylar and Acid Free boards and boxes, I just love to read and re-read them too much to seal them away although I always handle them with kid gloves 🧤 when I do that, my favorites are probably a 4.0 Captain Marvel Adventures # 18-19 first and second appearance of Mary Marvel and a low grade Detective Comics #59 the second appearance of The Penguin.
Some awesome books man! The majority of them you got for amazing prices as they routinely go for double or more of what you said you paid. I'm somewhat jealous lol. This is my first time seeing your channel btw. New sub here
Percy Knight ya cards didn’t bring too much value and buying just paper back comics are worth pennies compared to graded comics ... unless you got grails of paperback

It is Jack Kirby's first publish work called the Romance of Money. (1937) If you are interested or know of anyone who is interested please let me know. It's an extremely rare comic and almost never appears on the internet

Wifey is gonna be thrilled to see them come in. It's no wonder I can't afford to make it to the National this year. D'oh!
Ha ha I wanted the Wolverine mini-series so I could display the Quad of Slabs on my wall. I loved that initial story. But I use to collect in the early 90’s along with cards. I use to have the Mcfarlane Spider-Man mini-series with the black & silver cover so that one in a slab maybe next. Amazing Spider-Man #300 would be cool too I love the black alien costume. Here comes more $$.
Have a question for you as well. I don't have a lot of slabbed books, but I've noticed the majority of them can be pried open on the sides or a side or the case. The plastic also looks a little different in that area. Is this normal?
Can someone tell me what it means when there is no “white pages” under the grade for example the first appearance of black panther here just has a 6.5 is there any reason why it just says 6.5 with no page color I never understood that is there a difference in price or preference for collectors which one is better no page color or when it tells you the page color?
Older CGC slabs have the paper color indicated in the center of the label. In the case of FF #52, it's "off-white to white" pages. The newer CGC slabs have the page color under the grade. Most of my books are in the older slabs and, yes, people will pay a premium for a book with "white" pages.

Awesome cgc collection. Here have to send my comics overseas to cgc...makes it all more difficult and expensive. Wish we had cgc here.

Yes, it's very easy to pry open the older CGC slabs. Perfectly normal.
