I am happy you enjoy my videos. I have been working on how I collect since the 1980s so it does seem overwhelming but if you want to try to a little, I suggest trying to track down one collection and then pulling out enough stuff from the collection to sell on ebay or facebook or craiglist and see if you can break even while keeping the comics you want the most from the collection. If you can do that successfully one time, then you can repeat the process over and over again until you have a crazy collection. I am drowning in comics right now so definitely tons more comic videos coming up soon.
ah ty for this comic fest. always a pleasure. now i can go sleep a calm man:) also i havent forgotten that i promised u photos with weird greek comics. i went last week to a flee market and found only 90s marvel/valiant and dc comics. i ll go to an exclusive bookstore sometime this month that has only greek comics so i ll take photos then¨) good night from here
Sweet comic book you picked up. I used to collect comic books and action figures. I had about 2,000 comic books. From the 80s. Action Figures from the 70s - 80s. Action Figures Marvin, DC, Star Wars, Neca. About 3,00 action figures in box and out. I always buy them in 2. For in box and out. My xwife stolen them all. It killed me when she did that. I had no passion to collect them anymore. Last year I started collecting some action figures and comic. I'm trying to get my passion back. Thank you for your video.
Oh man that is a bummer. I think if you collect to enjoy each piece, that is read the comics focus on the enjoyment of each object as you get them I think you can find the joy again. A lot of times the enjoyment can b e in the hunt as well. Loosing a collection is always the worst. Good luck I hope you find a sweet deal of a collection to recapture some of what you had.
Yeaaahh! Comicbook haul! Of course we want to have more of them! PLease-please-pretty-please!? A lot of good reading memories in this haul. First you seem to have most of Walter Simonson classic THOR run (except for the most expensive # 337, the first issue of the run). Best THOR run ever! I'M not sure if it is worth a lot, but I saw HULK # 331 in there which is very early Todd McFarlane (only his 2nd issue on HULK) and it was also the first issue of Peter David loooooooong seminal run on the green (soon grey) goliath. Another definitive run on a major Marvel character! I also saw a few later issues of ROM (that had low print IIRC) and a lot of them had Steve Ditko interior art! They are not worth much, but Byrne's ALPHA FLIGHT is one of my favorite run of any comics ever! And POWER PACK, the first couple of years were fun and cute, well written by Louise Jones who was very good at writing from the perspective of young children (plus nice art by June Brigman). Can't wait for the next haul!
YaY! Yeah there was a couple of key issues missing from the Thor Run 337 of course (I have a bunch of them already though so no harm) and 339 which has jumped a bunch in value since the Infinity War movie but I have that as well so no worries. Definitely a cool run of comics. I did not catch that Hulk 331 was McFarlane art thanks for the heads up I missed that one, did not realize how much people are paying for that one. Rom comics are cool to me, since I am a big toy collector as well I really appreciate the Toy/Comic mashups. If they ever come through with the Rom movie I think those issues will get gobbled up. I am just happy to have them. I do really like that run of Alpha Flight as well, I have been hoarding #1 for years haha I must have 6 copies now, I have a hard time wanting to sell it because its a cool issues. Definitely a undervalued hidden Gem of a comic run. I have to admit I really liked Power Pack at the time, of course I was a kid when it was published. I have not gone back and read it again but I suspect I would still get a kick out of it. Definitely a ton more comic videos coming up soon. I am drowning in comics people are selling me lately and people have been buying them more often in my shop so I want to do way more videos with comics :)
Nice, thanks for the info. It did not register in my mind that those issues are key issues with demand now. I will have to keep my eye open for them more often now.
also spectacular # 90 is key issue too. its the fifth title that has the rights for the first appearance of the black costume. its kind like 30-40$ comic book. ( ams 252,secret wars 8, marvel age 12, and the one i am missing from the 5 marvel team up 141.) ppl usually forget about the spectacular #90
rkronin actually it's one of the big three it's Amazing Spider-Man #252 Marvel's team-up number #141 then it is Peter Parker Spectacular Spider-Man number #90 then it is Secret Wars #7 the first appearance of Spiderthe new Spider-Woman in the white and black suit the reason why Peter Parker makes the black costume in secret Wars number 8
I like this era too, I don't see that many available are reasonable prices in my neck of the woods though. Retailers really mark them up, and private sellers think they worth a lot because they are 30 years old.
I want to know how u get your lot of comics also my dad gave me his collection of comics and there was deadpool and cable #1 in 12. And I love comics keep up the work
Yeah someone else told me its the first appearance of Normie Osbourne aka the Red Goblin which has been in the current run of comics. I had no idea it was hot. Thanks for the info.
My shop is in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn it is called PopFuzz. At this time we are only selling in the shop since I have very limited free time to package and list things etc.
I know nothing about comic books, but I like watching you enjoy your collections. Thumbs up.
Thank you, it makes me really happy that you enjoy my videos for me more then what its about.
Seeing all those covers from the 80's brings back so many memories. I had a lot of those comics.
Yeah I get the same way when I see them.
I love this age of comics. Thing I like best about them is the adverts. Gives me the nostalgia feels.
I love 1980s comics as well because I grew up with them so the ads are all relevant to things I remember. Definitely a fun era.
Yeah....you are so entertaining I always look forward to your videos. All your videos are simply "AWESOME"
Thank you so much I am happy you enjoy the videos.
There's something appealing about the peeling sound of the older plastic bags.
Yeah I kinda thought the same thing so I left it all in the edit. Kinda like an old crispy comic bags ASMR hahaha
Sweet! Looking forward to more comics content and especially the collection tour videos!!
Definitely tons more coming up soon!
You are one of my favorite collection channel i love pops and comic books
Thank you, I am happy you enjoy the channel.
I love your videos. I wish I could collect like you do. Keep the comic videos coming.

Amazing 263 first Normie and Thor Annual 11 first Eitri the dwarf are good ones right now.

Yeah I think I pulled that one out and paid them more as well. It was not NM which is $30-40, it was more like a VF or VF- so maybe a $10-$15 comic.
yeah if its vf is like that i think too.
rkronin actually it's one of the big three it's Amazing Spider-Man #252 Marvel's team-up number #141 then it is Peter Parker Spectacular Spider-Man number #90 then it is Secret Wars #7 the first appearance of Spiderthe new Spider-Woman in the white and black suit the reason why Peter Parker makes the black costume in secret Wars number 8
Man, I would love to have all those awesome Hulk issues. My collection of Hulk is severely lacking.
Hulk is awesome, I am sure you will eventually find some hulk comics on your hunts.
@@popfuntoplay Hope so. Its coming along now, but there are so many. lol
amazing spiderman 263 is a key that you have first Normie Osborn!
Thanks for the info, that issue had not hit my collecting radar yet.
I like this era too, I don't see that many available are reasonable prices in my neck of the woods though. Retailers really mark them up, and private sellers think they worth a lot because they are 30 years old.
Yeah, when comic shops charge more then online prices it kinda bugs me. Yes some of the issues are pricey but these are a ton in the $1-$3 range.
I want to know how u get your lot of comics also my dad gave me his collection of comics and there was deadpool and cable #1 in 12. And I love comics keep up the work
I usually say in every video where I get the comics. This collection some one brought to me in my shop.
What a Fantastic Score
Definitely.
not sure if somebody already pointed it out but that Amazing Spider-Man #263 is some kind of key that's been kind of hot lately.
Yeah someone else told me its the first appearance of Normie Osbourne aka the Red Goblin which has been in the current run of comics. I had no idea it was hot. Thanks for the info.

Spectacular Spider-Man 90, is not a comic to just blow by. It has a some real value.

The pride of my comic collection is my #180 & 181 Incredible Hulk.
Very nice! I sold a set of 180-182 when I sold my collection in 1993. I have replaced the 180 but 181 and 182 I still need to get.
Pop Fun To Play I have 182 as well.

My shop is in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn it is called PopFuzz. At this time we are only selling in the shop since I have very limited free time to package and list things etc.
Brooklyns kind of far from me. Would you be able to put together a nice lot of the bronze horror books for a good price?
