Having lived in Ljubljana since November I’m amazed for a capital city just how easy it is to find hiking (and cycling) of all levels, easy and hard. If you were to set out to design a country you’d never get it as right as Slovenia is...its perfect ❤️.
We would love to move there too! We were there last October and was hoping to come back in October for the month! We would love to move there. Jason, where did you move from?
Linda Gasper England, Bolton to be precise...was lucky enough to be offered work here..it’s an amazing country! Hope you make it back, I’m usually around the Holiday pub if you ever want to say hi.
Linda Gasper probably not this October then...I can’t see the US making it onto any green lists anytime soon sadly... yes it’s in the city centre, on the Main Street a little up from the post office.
Smarna gora was great .. my favorite hike ( not really hike ) is my walk around lake bled .. calm and relaxing .. another thing going outside ... vitamin C
It's amazing how many Slovenes hike at least once a week, it feels good i can't deny that. You should look at the channel called Aktiven Lajf, might give you some ideas where to hike before taking on Triglav.
When I met my wife 44 years ago, she wore hiking boots...We've been hiking ever since. Great sights, conversations, greenery, new friendships, and lots of free vitamin D. Maybe this is why we don't get sick, ever.
I think that people match with certain places. Last year I met a Slovenian family visiting the US (Georgia, Carolinas, and Florida), They just loved the US and it was the 4th time they were visiting the US. They were saving money to send the son to college in the US. I've met many people from Europe that just love the US. Something interesting is that there are many US inside the US. The South is actually very nice. An average 50,000 move to Charlotte, NC every year. Happiness is a decision. You can decide to be where you are but some people just have a good connection with certain places.
Thanks for the video, you are the best! :) I'm sure you'll make it to mount Triglav someday. If your kids won't drag you up there willy nilly, your grandkids surely will.
Mariah: "UV index today is really high... it's 8!!" Me: *laughs in Australian* (our UV index in summer is always 14, which is the max, and it's terrifying) Keen to experience Slovenia's weather instead! hahah
I've been wondering... Not wanting to mention the event but how does California compare to Slovenija in terms of our recent predicament? Again, no mentioning its name, just if we're much better off here or is California coping with its problem better than the rest of USA?
... And, now, we shall introduce a Uber-Special Hybrid between Champion in Wrestling (of a Galaxy Milky Way) with The Life, itself - and Guerlain Shalimar : Legendary MJKD - I'll whisper this on your ear, for you not become too conceit : (You're Amazing) ...

Jason Kenny I will! Is that in the city centre? We will be there as soon as they will let us fly from Texas to Slovenia... Hopefully soon!

This is great because I want to see more of Slovenia’s natural beauty.
Cool video. I really like how nice you talk about your children. And my favorite sentence was 'and then I'll be prava Slovenka', hahahha :)

I have no idea. If I read the news it’s all doom and gloom. If I talk to people living there everything is fine 🤷🏼♀️
You've heard wrong. California is in rough shape.
Is it good for a single woman to live in Slovenia?? or ill get bored and lonely if it's hard making friends and have to learn Slovene 😕😕

Trst je naš!!!
Bil, dokler ga Britanija, USA in drugi zavezniki niso podarili makaronarjem. Prestopništvo v vojnah je zgleda najbolj dobičkonosna panoga.
