Upon unboxing, I was immediately upset at how the rails were very noticeably bent. But I kept going, all tools needed to assemble were included ruclips.net/user/postUgkxqtX4Dxs6aecAZEuz6GY5-d81YecKCshn and I had it set up in about 30 minutes. Honestly I love this thing, make sure to read the measurements and measure your space so you know if it'll work for you. I bought this to put inside my closet, underneath where I hang my clothes and it is absolutely perfect! It is VERY sturdy and all drawers glide easily and mine are stuffed, and they are still flush when closed.

I'm relatively new to furniture painting and I've watched a few videos here on RUclips on the subject, but you have taken it to a new level. I really appreciate not only you sharing some of your techniques, but you explain WHY you make the choices you make. I'm subscribing and looking forward to seeing more of your artistry.

    Brilliant video. Learnt so much.
Just wanted to pass on why Gustavian furniture is painted rather than keep the natural wood.
Sweden and the other Scandinavian countries have long winters and in the 1600 and 1700s candles were expensive. To prevent injuries by walking into furniture they painted them lighter colours, most often off whites. These colours would reflect the few candles lit in the room so there were fewer injuries. So sensible but a beautiful reason to paint furniture.
Jonathon, I’m new to your channel but I love your work, your attention to detail and your excellent tutoring of the techniques. I have done some restoration and painting but you make me feel like I could tackle any project.
Great work mate and please keep on posting.

Jonathan, I've never heard of using very hot water on raw wood to bring out the grain, before! I will have to look that up and get more information on it. Thank you for bringing that to our attention.
Also, I wanted to give a tip about sanding and the dangers of breathing in all the dust. I have a good friend who attaches her sanding equipment to her wet/dry vacuum. She takes off the little bag attached to the piece and then duct tapes the hose of the vac onto the sander. Works wonders!
I just love you, Jonathan! You have such compassion and kindness in your voice, and I see it in your eyes. Wonderful!!
