As a novice woodworker, I watch these videos for tip/tricks and inspiration. Lately, I have found myself rewatching your videos as your voice helps me fall asleep. #insomniacproblems
As an amateur with woodworker, i typically feel overpowered with the entire arrangement ruclips.net/user/postUgkxrYREG3-7f1Aqk9ams3ZESRNzGnfdUtyQ . Be that as it may, this arrangements drove me through with much clarity and effortlessness woodplans. Works i now work like a genius. That is great!
I was looking for rustic tables for refinishing inspiration. Your personality is hilarious, and your narration is soothing. Oh and I love the coffee table.
Funny you would mention falling asleep b/c I did. Not you, it's me. Been moving for the last 29 days in the CA 100+ temps and I'm done. The Bourbon helps with the pain and adds to the sleep factor. Woke up, hit rewind.. Rewind, such an old term.. Clicked back to what I remembered and finished the video. Thank you for your effort. Now I have to find some reclaimed wood...
Looks amazing 😊 beautiful timber. I use timber floor board finish on a lot of my furniture. Water based poly. Hard waring & leaves the timber fairly natural 😊
Your whole presentation has improved immensely. I watched your Trussell coffee table before this and even though it was very informative it was rather vanilla in the audio and visual side. I love the style you currently have. It makes me want to come back for more all the time
Great video and end product. I do a lot with reclaimed wood and first thing I do is run a hand held metal detector over the whole thing, cheaper than a new table saw blade. 👍🏻
Dude, great project, inspirational. I truly appreciate the organic and respectful way you work the material and preserve vintage feel of the final piece.
I just recently subscribed to your channel. I like your simple way of doing your work. I have very limited amounts of tools and clamps but you're still a good inspiration for your projects. I really love this wood coffee table.
Love your videos my friend. Thank you for all the tips and knowledge. Wish I would have seen your videos before getting fired from a woodworking job.....lol
I dig this, Nice and simple. Its kind of a Jazzed up take on something I would have built a few in my 20's. A time where it was 3" wood screws drove through construction grade pine without pre drilling. This has the simplistic feel of that area of my life, but build correctly with more attention to detail.
I’m currently making a coffee table in my cti class and I wasn’t sure how I should connect the legs to the skirt and you gave me a good idea on how to do that. Thanks! Also well done, it looks great.
Man, you crack me up. I really appreciate the goofiness. Can't get enough of your content. I'm gonna call you out on one thing tho: for this project, you didn't follow the smiles and frowns rule. Either way, keep on sending us this amazingly quality stuff, and we'll keep eating it up.
@@RouxRouxRingo when gluing up a table top, you want to alternate the grain. One with the grain looking like a smile, and the next piece with the grain looking like a frown. Keeps the table from warping
@@justie1220 wow lol I feel even more stupid cause I knew that concept but never heard the term smiles and frowns for it but am disappointed that I couldn't figure it out on my own.. maybe woodworking isn't my Fortè lol thanks for the help.
Love it. I have tons of reclaimed wood, So I’m always looking for cool stuff to build. I’m just a beginning wood worker hobbyist but I love making things! Thanks for the cool channel.
I didn`t intend to utilize this woodworking website, t.co/SGIXIPXR0z but rather curious about it. I was truly impressed after trying it. I was looking to find out more about the art of woodworking, and was not dissatisfied. I found several topics such as wood types and designing your workshop.
I love this wood working book *TopFineWoodworking. Com* . A few of the topics talked about in the book include wood working strategies, explanation on the development cycles of trees, and various lumber characteristics that craftsmen favor. I also provided my father another copy.
This is a great video!! If you don’t have the tools he uses and can’t figure out another way to do it, maybe woodworking isn’t for you! Stop the negativity!!
You didn't mention the part about metal in old wood can be a real problem when it hits your blades. But hey, let the newbies find out the hard way, I know I did. LOL. Thanks for the great video. Keep 'em coming.
I think Jason may actually be a closet "hipster"...he's jumped on the Rubio bandwagon - the epoxy table maker's fav finish (I thought he hated everything epoxy?)...maybe he should try something cool while also European old school...something like that new Italian import "L'OLIO 100%"...monocoat hardwax oil. Literally translates to "The Oil" - very limited quantities are just now arriving into the USA... Introductory "Bonus application kits" are well priced too...Hit me up - I know a guy...
Gr eea t Job love the Way you make Stuff the Bed also Great job...ai need to build a Bed and a Coffee table as well...Im gonna try to Use your methods and do my best without the Dado ...I dont have the tools you have ..But I will Have to make do.You are a Very talented Craftsman and Ive Learned alot in just a 11 minute video..Rock On ..I subscribed
This is a superb wood working book I`ve ever read, *TopFineWoodworking. Com* . Both novice and some skilled woodworker can gain a lot of general info using this reading material. I`ve been very amazed how frequently I use this to look up woods at places like to restore and salvage spots.?
Always had so much respect for you and your work. The table looks great. But you have elevated your knowledge to a much higher point when you mention using the torch with a Crème brûlée, I feel you also might have some cooking skills behind that beard. Love your videos.
I like the simplicity of this build. You always remind me this is supposed to be fun. Keep smiling, life is good!
Workmanship & tools used , is a unique combination of arts & engineering. Thanks

Uuugh this is SO beautiful. I'm a sucker for old wood. So pretty. Well done!!
Thanks much. This was nice and easy and also the fact that you did not have to usee a lot or a few expensive tools for the construction.
10 point for attitude and sense of humour. Subscribed
beautiful piece of craftsmanship right there
This is a very good video. This is the first time I've seen your aging process. I'm pleasantly surprised to see that kind of something new.
Awesome!!! I'm gonna take this idea and make a huge picnic table for my back patio.
I really enjoy your videos your humour translates well here over the pond nice tip on torching the dowels
Ive only watched a couple of your vids but...... youre starting to impress me.
Great rustic-looking table. With longer legs, that would make a great dining room table also. Love the build.

Amazing job !!!!

félicitation très belle exécution et le produit final excellent continuer le beau travail
polycrylic satin is great for reclaimed woods, used it on a few tables and it makes the grain bolder, doesnt change the color at all

Good job cowboy 👍
Rubio should sponsor this man. Every time he finishes something, it's either a Rubio product or paint.
