- "The film "Once Saved, Always Saved?" is a thought-provoking documentary that examines the controversial doctrine of eternal security in Christianity. Through interviews with scholars, theologians, and religious leaders, the film delves into the historical origins and biblical arguments for and against the belief that once a person is saved, their salvation cannot be lost."

I have learned alot about osas from watching these videos but after watching this one talking about the rapture being after the tribulation I can only come to the conclusion that everyone takes scripture out of context on one thing or another.
Amen.
That passage is referring to the end of tribulation but when you divide the Word, the tribulation saints who missed the rapture (5 unwise virgins) won't be under grace will have to faithfully carry out their duties all the way to the end.
We are not on probation with God
I found this on another video by someone they say
God's word is VERY clear. Sin leads to death= no Salvation.
Matthew 13:41
The Son of Man will send his angels, and they will collect out of his kingdom all causes of sin and all evildoers
Matthew 16:27 “For the Son of Man is to come with his angels in the glory of his Father, and then he will repay everyone for what has been done.
John 5:28 Do not be astonished at this; for the hour is coming when all who are in their graves will hear his voice 29 and will come out-those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation.
Luke 6:46 Why do you call me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I tell you?
John 15:14 You are my friends if you do what I command you.
1 John 2:2 My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous; 2 and he is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world. 3 Now by this we may be sure that we know him, if we obey his commandments. 4 Whoever says, “I have come to know him,” but does not obey his commandments, is a liar, and in such a person the truth does not exist; 5 but whoever obeys his word, truly in this person the love of God has reached perfection. By this we may be sure that we are in him: 6 whoever says, “I abide in him,” ought to walk just as he walked.
1 John 3:2 Beloved, we are God’s children now; what we will be has not yet been revealed. What we do know is this: when he[a] is revealed, we will be like him, for we will see him as he is. 3 And all who have this hope in him purify themselves, just as he is pure. 4 Everyone who commits sin is guilty of lawlessness; sin is lawlessness. 5 You know that he was revealed to take away sins, and in him there is no sin. 6 No one who abides in him sins; no one who sins has either seen him or known him. 7 Little children, let no one deceive you. Everyone who does what is right is righteous, just as he is righteous. 8 Everyone who commits sin is a child of the devil; for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The Son of God was revealed for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil. 9 Those who have been born of God do not sin, because God’s seed abides in them;[b] they cannot sin, because they have been born of God. 10 The children of God and the children of the devil are revealed in this way: all who do not do what is right are not from God, nor are those who do not love their brothers and sisters.
John 9:31 We know that God does not listen to sinners, but he does listen to one who worships him and obeys his will.
Romans 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and wickedness of those who by their wickedness suppress the truth....29 They were filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, covetousness, malice. Full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, craftiness, they are gossips, 30 slanderers, God-haters,[f] insolent, haughty, boastful, inventors of evil, rebellious toward parents, 31 foolish, faithless, heartless, ruthless. 32 They know God’s decree, that those who practice such things deserve to die-yet they not only do them but even applaud others who practice them.
Romans 2:2 You say,[a] “We know that God’s judgment on those who do such things is in accordance with truth.” 3 Do you imagine, whoever you are, that when you judge those who do such things and yet do them yourself, you will escape the judgment of God? 4 Or do you despise the riches of his kindness and forbearance and patience? Do you not realize that God’s kindness is meant to lead you to repentance? 5 But by your hard and impenitent heart you are storing up wrath for yourself on the day of wrath, when God’s righteous judgment will be revealed. 6 For he will repay according to each one’s deeds: 7 to those who by patiently doing good seek for glory and honor and immortality, he will give eternal life; 8 while for those who are self-seeking and who obey not the truth but wickedness, there will be wrath and fury. 9 There will be anguish and distress for everyone who does evil, the Jew first and also the Greek, 10 but glory and honor and peace for everyone who does good, the Jew first and also the Greek. 11 For God shows no partiality.
Romans 6:16 Do you not know that if you present yourselves to anyone as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one whom you obey, either of sin, which leads to death, or of obedience, which leads to righteousness?
Romans 8:5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit[e] set their minds on the things of the Spirit.[f] 6 To set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit[g] is life and peace. 7 For this reason the mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God; it does not submit to God’s law-indeed it cannot, 8 and those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
Do you have sin in your life?

Amen we are saved by faith alone plus nothing
I've come too far to turn back now, I'm staying with Jesus.
If context doesn’t matter then Peter was saved when Jesus pulled him out of the water after trying to walk on it.
Also keep in my mind that this passage is talking about the TRIBULATION, with is an entirely different dispensation. During the tribulation, those who are left behind after the rapture will have to endure unto the end, for the Bible says if you take the mark of the beast you’ll be damned (Revelation 14:9-11). But that’s during the tribulation, during the present dispensation we are saved by grace through faith apart from works. Enduring in faithfulness to the end is a service issue, nothing to do with salvation.
It's always saved by grace through faith, even during tribulation. The holy spirit will empower you not to fear death. It is literally impossible for a saved Christian to take the mark.
@@SonoftheLivingGod7 we as saved believers won’t take the mark of the beast, because we’ll already be raptured up.

I want honest feedback from this. I've bounced back and worth with once saved always and the other side where you can lose your salvation. Right now I'm sitting on the side that says you CAN lose it. Theres a few problems I have with once saved always saved.
Do i think we can lose salvation willy nilly depending on if we just sinned or not? No. I dont think its that easy. But i do think it can be lost with time with consistant turning away from God.
What doesnt make sense to me from what ive heard about once saved always saved is that you can accept Jesus, but then eventually, if you turn away from Him and don't want anything to do with him, you're still saved. But that would go against our free will right? Not to say that someone consciously wants to go to hell, but they're not choosing God and in turn choose hell, and I don't see why God would force that person into heaven (Gods presence) against their wishes.
Ive seen the scripture be used "John 10:27-28 ESV
[27] My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. [28] I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand.
in the case be used for once saved always saved. For sure no one else can "take" your salvation away. But I don't see why you couldn't walk away from it and reject it if you wanted to.
Now in the case of "works". Do I believe my works will save me? No absolutely not. Only by what Jesus did on the cross are we saved. But if you just "accept" Christ and keep living how you want to to live, isn't that a way of rejecting Christ and what He did? We talk about Christianity being a relationship and not a religion, so wouldnt that be like spitting in his face and not being in relationship with him when we live our way? And yes of course we're not sinless and I don't believe a single time sinning will make you lose salvation, but a heart posture of consistent disobedience I feel like is a way of saying I don't want to be in relationship with you.
Again I'm looking for any answers to these questions
John 10:8-9 only condition to be saved is to enter, it doesn’t say abide or stay etc, and matter fact they go in and out and find pasture.
once you are born again it’s a done deal.
@hiruzensarutobi9771 what do you think about "work out your salvation with fear and trembling" why would we have to work it out if you can't lose it?

Right on!! Thank you❤
I really enjoy these videos. Thank you sir for posting them.
"And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption."
You're sealed until the day of redemption, not until the next time you backslide. What I don't think people understand about the nature of sin/Godliness, is that sin is EVERYTHING that takes you further away from God, not merely the moral guidelines listed in the Word. There is no middle ground. Every thought, and action are either sin, or Godliness. Ever have a thought of doubt in God's plan for you, even for half a second? Sin. Anxiety? Sin. Fear? Sin. Ever put other things before your Kingdom duties? Sin. Ever procrastinate for ANY length of time with reading the Word, or prayer? Sin. Ever give into distraction when reading the Word, or in prayer? Sin.
You willfully sin every single day, and while you can always backslide even deeper into sin, this idea that we can be wholly sinless isn't Biblical. Fighting every day to live Holier than the day before is necessary to strengthen God's Kingdom on earth, reap heavenly rewards, and blessings in this life as well, but we won't be wholly sinless until we inhabit glorified bodies.
amen brother. great stash if i may say so.

There is absolutely ZERO we can do to earn our salvation on any level. Jesus paid it all - HE is the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the whole world. It's Jesus + nothing.
The end is referring to the end of the age. The old covenant age. That is absolutely the context. Matthew 16:27-28 in context is referring to when Jesus comes back at the end of that age. To destroy the temple. Which the Holy Spirit indicates that the way into the most holy would not be made manifest while that temple still stood. How is this missed? The cross was the beginning the destruction of the temple was the end. End of the world is mistranslated, it’s the end of the ages. Look into it.
Please dear brothers and sister, I would humbly ask us to be diligent in the study of scripture as our position in eternity depends on the conclusion we arrive at. Salvation is a process that starts with justification by faith alone- Romans 3:24 & 5:1, then sanctification- 1 Peter 1:2 & 1 Thessalonians 4:3 and culminates in Glorification- Hebrews 5:9 & Romans 2:7. There are other scriptures to buttress those but a final scripture to share is found in Romans 13:11 where we read that our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. Brother Ono, is Mark 13:27 and 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 the same event? It seems to me that's what you have suggested.
The Bible tells us that one will be done by the angels and the other by the spirit of the Lord.
The Bible tells us in one event the believers that are dead in Christ will be resurrected from the dead by the spirit of God and then will be caught up together with those that are alive and remain and taken directly to the Lord in the air to be with him forever.
And the other event, the believers will be gathered together by angels from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.
These are completely different events which tells us that only one can be the rapture. And it shouldn't be hard to tell which one since Jesus told his disciples he would come and receive them unto himself.❤

Matthew 24:13 has literally been hijacked by Calvinism/Lordship Salvation in support of their 5th false point of Calvinism which is "perseverance of the saints". The Bible teaches PRESERVATION of the saints by an unfailing Savior who keeps believers eternally secure in spite of their failures and shortcomings in this life - John 10:28-29, Romans 8:39-39, Ephesians 1:13-14, 1 Corinthians 3:14-15, 2 Corinthians 1:22. It is blatantly obvious that "perseverance of the saints" implies works for salvation which is false. Perseverance of the saints entails the front loading and back loading of works for salvation. (The front loading of works "to get saved" and the back loading of works "to remain saved and to prove to oneself and others that they are saved.") This is also based upon a faulty interpretation of 2 Corinthians 13:5.
The context of Matthew 24:1-12 is talking about Christians during the 7 year Tribulation where those who endure to the end in their faith of that time period will be spared from physical death (Matthew 24:13) as there will be SURVIVORS of the 7 year Tribulation period. It is those survivors who will make it into the Millennial 1000 year kingdom to repopulate the earth forming nations of people - Revelation 20:3, Revelation 20:8.

Do you believe in a pre or post tribulation Rapture?
Pre tribulation is biblical
Crazy to me that they know the sound context and what it actually teaches (enduring to the end in the tribulation), but they still reject it and try to argue around it.
”For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.“
Romans 1:18-21
So I am guessing Peter isn’t in heaven? He denied Jesus before men.
Fantastic brother. Salvation is easy. Just insane how much people twist, and complicate such a free and simple gift. JESUS did it all. It is FINISHED. Now, should we try to improve ourselves? Absolutely, but trusting and believing that those works save you is WRONG. Faith + Nothing = Salvation. Ephesians 2:8-9, John 3:16 I will have to disagree though on the rapture. It is pre-tribulational.
No such thing as temporary eternal life
Lawlessness increases only because majority do not believe the one true Gospel and they do not preach the one true Gospel anymore. Without believing in the Gospel, no Holy Spirit. Without Holy Spirit how will anyone walk in the spirit. That's why lawlessness increases. We need Jesus.
So Jesus returns raptures his church and then we turn around a return immediately? That seems unnecessary... Also most Christians won't be alive because they refused the mark of the beast.
2 verses come to mind watching this video:
Matthew 26:34
Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, That this night, before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice.
Luke 18:8
I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?
if Jesus didn't do enough to save you... what chance do you got ?

The irony is, these guys in this documentary are kind of fulfilling this prophecy.😅
I thought you were pre trib rapture! Videos?
Matthew 24:42-51 KJV
[42] Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. [43] But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. [44] Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. [45] Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season? [46] Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing. [47] Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods. [48] But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; [49] and shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken; [50] the lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of, [51] and shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Would make sense that God would only allow the faithful ones to live during to live end of the world. Those living unfaithfully would misrepresent God and make Christians look like the world, the same world that is being warned one last time before it passes away.
I would like to know how you believe in Once Saved Always Saved IF you also believe in a Post Trib rapture?
PLEASE explain. Post Trib means that BELIEVING Christians (once saved always saved) can take the Mark of the Beast. So, how can a once saved always saved Christian lose their salvation by taking the Mark if they are always saved?
No, that’s not what it means. Those who take the mark of the beast are those whose names are not written in the book of life.
@@OnoDiamante We're gonna need a video on this because now I'm confused. I thought Mark of Beast will be introduced Mid-Trib. Is that wrong? Are you saying no believing Christians at that time will take the Mark?
@@djflax8806 If it was so obvious, then this rapture debate would not have been going on for hundreds of years. The problem in nailing down pre-trib vs post-trib is that there are multiple ways to interpret some of the prophetic verses. It's not always clear. The very same verses, like from 2 Thes. 2, can be interpreted from a pre-trib or a post-trib position, and both can be made to sound valid, depending on your point of view. The same with other verses or even with terms like "the Day of the Lord."
But concerning the rapture, I've come to think that it really doesn't matter if you think it's pre-trib, mid-trib, pre-wrath or post-trib, because there are going to be unanswered question regardless of what position you take, things you just won't know for sure until they happen. The important thing is to understand the Gospel of Grace and live for Jesus now, whether He's coming in a day, a year or a thousand years.

Jesus said in Matthew 5:17 “Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.” He paid the sin of the entire world on the Altar of Calvary. Every sin that was committed or ever will be committed was paid for. Hebrews 10:12 “But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;”. It was a gift to the world. Ephesians 2:8-9 “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the GIFT of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” It’s totally and unconditionally free. But to receive a gift you must accept it. Here’s how: Romans 10:9-10” That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”
Great work ❤
The day of the rapture will reveal whose really following His Spirit and know His Gospel. *HINT* Those who rely on their own works will be left standing there puzzled.
Do you think the rapture is near since the eclipse?
Don't think so. Eclipses happen too often for them to be considered miracles.
But what I do know is 9 years from now will be 2033. 2000 years after the resurrection of Jesus. Just something to ponder on...

Most of the comments made here as well as the comments made by the host in this video ... are all made by persons who likely will neither turn their back on nor deny the Lord Jesus. But you are all so very naive if you believe that there are Spirit-filled believers who once followed Christ and at a later point in their lives deliberately chose to reject and deny Him. This is abundantly clear in scripture. You all base your doctrine of Once Saved Always Saved on a few passages that you twist to fit the Calvinist doctrine that very sincere, Godly teachers incorrectly interpreted and taught you - and you either ignore or misinterpret all other scripture that clearly prove this doctrine invalid.
