For a AC setup video i never expected it to be edited this cleanly! also great the little explanaition at the beginning and the changes during the lap, keep it up!
Awesome lap mate! You are seriously rapid. Most of the corners you are taking in a gear higher than what I am currently taking and you are more than 4 seconds faster than me. I will have to try out both your setup and your driving style. As always thank you for your vids. Love the Brawn livery!
amazing lap! I also suggest checking out vrc's new formula alpha 2023. Apparently it is the most advanced mod for assetto corsa to date, and from all the setup options it sure seems that way.
This setup is definitely one of the better setups I tried for Monza! I feel more confident into the lesmo's and ascari with this, I had only been using Spa setup for this one but it was sort of more understeer into the lesmo's (especially the first one) and a modified Silverstone setup as an alternative. FH23 doesn't feel much confident into low downforce for my style especially corners like the lesmo's, previous FH's I can easily just send them and wack the lap time.
Thank you for your comment! The setup is very similar to the Spa setup. As you mentioned, low downforce setup is quite "sketchy", but I feel like running more downforce just loses too much time :(
To prevent setup differences (such as the tyre pressure in this case), it is good to put the achieved lap time in the setup's name. Then you know exactly what is what. Your video shows front right 18 psi, the setup file 17 psi. 😉
Probably not :/ If you want to go with the Alex Albon setup you can go with this Monza/Spa setup, where as I think the Barcelona setup is probably decent too.
Where do you usually set steering assist for this car? I find that anything above 30 has no feel in low and mid speed but it comes with some weird effects and strange snap back to center
I usually leave the Steering Assist on 80 (default). I personally don't have a reason to change the assist because I'm generally happy with it. Then again, game and/or wheel settings can have an effect on how your force feedback feels.
Weird, im using your setup and the car is seriously more unstable on the rear. Also for me thats impossible to brake at 100 meter Mark in T1 just as you i push full brake and i still absolutely overshoot the turn.
Setup is definitely more lively than stock. Car is front limited, and setup is done to avoid understeer. As for the braking, not exactly sure. I have the brake power on 115%, which may be why.
@@ntst22 i used exacly your setup, my brakes were also on 115% power and i still cant manage to be even close to cornering speed. I always overshoot the corner i have to brake at around 125 meters and i still barely make the corner. Im starting to wonder if my brakes in assetto corsa arent badly setted up but the imput shows that i press maximum brake.
Hmm, not sure then. I know sometimes CSP Physics interfere with how the car drives. I broke at around 110meters, and started trailing off the brakes quite early to bring the speed into the chicane. I'm also wondering if you're using ABS, as the Kunos ABS is known to be quite bad.
I leave it in build. I manually deploy ERS by holding the KERS activation button. I prefer not to use "high" or "attack". I prefer to manually deploy since it's more consistent.
Thank you for the comment. I didn't downshift through Lesmo 1/2 because I feel like it added a lot of rotation. Since we have to run a low downforce setting, I found it a lot easier to stay in 6th. Made the exit of Lesmo 1 and 2 a lot easier and more consistent, too. Overall, I don't think it loses too much time. In fact, I think it is faster as you don't scrub off as much speed compared to downshifting.
@@ntst22 I see mate, thank you very much for the explanation. I definitely don't expect to be as fast as you but I'll try this when I give your setup a go, cheers :)
Having cold track temp does help a lot. But I also think with a low down-force set up, you do have to be relatively smooth with the inputs - helps a lot with tire temp too :)
Hello, I think I'm interested in it, and payment is not necessary. I've been taking a break from sim-racing for a while now, so I'll need to sweep off the dust and cobwebs so to speak. If you have Discord or Steam, drop your username and I'll add you and we can figure something out :)

Why not test out the new vrc formula alpha 2023, looks sick and has a million different ways to set the car up. Interested to see you have a go
Hmm, will have to give it a shot. That mod has kind of flown under my radar, but I'll definitely check it out.
@@ntst22dont be too hyped about it, from what i've tested and heard, its still a twitchy car, absolutely not like real life f1 cars
You help me become a better driver with awesome setups and help me find braking points and where to position the car on the track. Cheers.

Oh yeah I gotcha. Rarely I make changes and I don't save the setup. Thankfully, just the difference in tire pressure this time. 😅😅😅

Hello my friend, this video and information apply to the formula hybrid 2023 v2? Regards from Mexico
I believe the setup was made for V2, should be ok. Please let me know if you have any issues.
Any plan on doing a Montreal track setup video? If not which one that you’ve already done would best fit there?
Probably not :/ If you want to go with the Alex Albon setup you can go with this Monza/Spa setup, where as I think the Barcelona setup is probably decent too.

what wheelbase do you have if you don't mind telling? I have csl dd 8nm @@ntst22
I have the Simucube SC2 Pro. I have the settings turned down by quite a bit, though.
How do you have this corner speed with this low configuration of aero because me when i drop the downforce i have a lot less corner speed.
The faster you go, the more DF you get. The setup is definitely on a knifes edge, but it can be done for sure :)
this version 23, 21 and 22 is unstable lack of physics, rss hybrid 2020 is the only real thing and vrc Virtual racing cars

Finally ur put the setup on download ! thanks u NTST
and if i can ask, can u put the other setup on a google doc as this one pls ?
Yes! Planning to do so. Check in a day or two, I'll have all the 2023 setups in the description by the weekend (at the very latest)
@@ntst22 nice ! really appreciate.
Are u gonna make some hotlap with the new VRC Alpha 2023 ?
It's on the agenda. I have no time-frame for it yet, though.
ERS is set “build” in entire lap or you change it in “high” or “attack”? Because I finish the ers before finishing the lap

Do whatever feels most comfortable to you :)
the last turn could be done in 6th. but what can I say... I am very far from you, my best was 1.20.930

Its the orginal kunos track ? Trees diffrent, and looks nice
Yep. It's the Kunos version but with updated track configs and LUAs that I've updated through Content Manager.
I hate to say this but didn't you go over track limits t7 exit? F1 uses the white lines.
I'd agree with you, but this isn't F1. Simply just using track limits that the game allows :)
Hey! Would u be interested in developing setups for a professional FH23 league? Its completely allowed and of course, we would pay u
