When I was going to school to be a motorcycle mechanic, one of my classmates ran his Yamaha YSR50 on the school's dyno. I think it made about 6 horsepower!

Honda claims 12.5HP so 10.84HP at the rear wheel isn't bad. Basically a capable little bike as long as you don't need to go much over 60. $2971 msrp!
I do wonder what a nice carb and exhaust could do for it.
I bought 2. One for me and one for the wife. Im gonna try to find some performance parts. This is new here in the usa but has been in production for other countries for 20 years. There has to be something somewhere.

@@ShanenDanaShoemaker-wf4trtake off the spark arrester and get a smart carb if you really want to drag it out. Other than that, an oil cooler. Then you're about tapped out. It's good for about 65 at 200 lbs.
@@smoothboye4203 Thanks! Just googled the smart carb. Did not know anything about it! The wife and I plan to use ours for some trail riding and around town errands. Thanks again!
@@ShanenDanaShoemaker-wf4tr not a problem. I was hoping to really pull it for all it was worth. Gains are limited but there. The smart carb is a pretty big investment for casual use, but it beats the heck out of having to rejet on the trail if you do some actual mountains like near Moab or parts of Appalachia

This thing very much reminds me of my old NX125. I bought it used in either 1990 or 1991, and sold it in either 2015 or 2016, with less than 3,000 miles on it. I still miss that bike! I might have to snag one of these XLs to right my wrong!

This bike is derived from the old "Bros 150" that we had in Brazil, which now has a 160cc engine and is called "Bros 160" I honestly didn't understand why Honda recycled the bike and put it up for sale and didn't just take our bros 160 there

Almost every single beer manufacturer in the United States (Big and small) and most of them out of the United States have had a LGBTQ+ promotion.... It's a fact, look it up. So if you think that that kind of beer is going to turn you gay, you might want to stop drinking.

If your insecure this is not the bike for you. Definitely get a bigger bike and show your no Bud light drinker. But if your not a pussy, this is a great affordable, reliable bike that is perfect for the Montana secondary roads.
At least it beat the Grom, not bad for a carbureted dinosaur.
It's got 25cc on the Grom.
