Dude.. why does this have no likes!?
Damn a 1k setup total is so necessary and needed
Thankyou! However the real price is more like $700 Because of taxes, not everywhere pays the same taxes in the U.S. so I just averaged it out.

HI Mike, I took virtually the same path as you to get to the Bobo VR M2 strap but was loathe to get rid of my elite battery strap so I started hunting on the internet and found a design for 3d printing some parts that allowed me to connect the elite battery to the Bobo VR. IMHO this is the ideal combination to give me comfort and battery time. Cheers
Can't believe it ! A few hours ago I came to your channel and typed "Oculus accessories" and didn't find what I was looking for.
You are right ON TIME ! Tank you :)
Please do not use a tank on him
Hey Mike! Another great video! You were the first RUclipsr I came upon when I purchased my Quest 2 and you have been so very helpful! I never played video games prior to owing a Quest 2. Your videos have almost made me a pro! I have the vr cover, vr halo protectors, vr ears (they’re ok), vr power, kiwi grips, AMVR lens anti scratch rings (I don’t wear glasses), AMVR protective shell, the Elite Strap (replacement first one broke after 6 months), BOBOVR Pro halo Headstrap (still not sure about it. It’s comfortable but slides off the back of my head causing me to lose my sweet spot) and the navitech heavy duty carrying case. Thanks for the wonderful job you do! Merry Christmas!
Glad to hear the videos have helped! Merry Christmas []-)
Mike was also the first vr RUclipsr I can upon too!
Personally I go with the kiwi design head strap, it’s really comfortable and I would recommend it. You have done a review on it and that’s what pushed me to buy it
I did also try to get the virtual reality oasis blue vr cover but it was sold out so I went with my second favourite, the Thrill Seeker Edition.
it looks amazing im going to get it
Do you know where I can find the kiwi design on
@@AdamBomb1 Amazon
the bobovr (pro) I have it, and it’s so good the kiwi co one is good but I always gotta go with the bobo bc the kiwi is just to light for my taste
halo or bust. i got a non halo and i regret it
The glasses inserts are such a life saver, thank you so much!
The ksc75 from koss is basically what was used on the cv1 and sounds great, and it is very lightweight.
Also, you don't need an expensive router. Use a secondary ac1200 with only your pc and the quest connected to it.
Wow they still make those? I remember the ksc35 aswell...very similar but slightly better IMO
I love koss headphones, portapro in particular.
Wifi 6 router does make a difference and works better.
REMEMBER!! HE GETS PAID FOR SAYING THIS!!!!
The vrcover facial kits now have air vents on them. They also have coolxg with cooling gel inside the leather
I use all these except for the mat. I would say a slight improvement over what you’ve shown is to use VR Cover’s fitness facial interface with the cool XG foam for less fogging and more comfort.
I only used a mat (my own), a VRcover (the VR Oasis one), and a VRpower before, and I gotta say that even using your own mat is game changer. You no longer have to worry about the guardian or hitting your wall at mach-10.
What cover is this? I am fogging.
do you think i should get the one with the comfort or just the regular one
@@staceysemi i have one of these covers and trust me it still fogs. It is better then the normal ones but theres no fixing the fog when working out
Great video as always, keep up the good work Mike!
This deserves more likes these are solid accessories and the prescription lens are really helpful for more people who want to get into VR
Thank you very much!! I just got my Quest 2 this week and this Video is a blessing.
His target audience are living in a mansion
Ong, not tryna spend $10 for a rubber cover💀
Thanks for saving me time not even gonna start the video
I know like i don’t wanna spend $44 on a mat anyway do you guys know what game he was playing during the wireless router sections
I have the vr cover and am getting the bobo for Xmas, so I'm glad you like them both ! I tried the bobo for a day to make sure it worked for me and I loved it. No more pressure on my face !
The extendable microphone on the Steel Series Artis 7P headset seems like a nice feature. Whenever your not playing multiplayer and don’t need the microphone, you can retract it and stow it away and whenever you need it, just can slide it out.
Used your video for my vr purchase upgrades, love the m2 pro headstrap and the bobo vr c2 carrying case, also went with the vr cover grips for the controllers
I got a Oculus Quest 2 for christmas and it’s so dope!! I was using it last night when I felt my head being crushed! i need to get me the head strap!
Just got the Bobo VR head strap. Wow what a difference. The Arctic 7P is on my XMAS list. Counting on ya SANTa 🎅
Always the best VR content! Thanks VR oasis!
this was very much needed. i needed some accessories for my quest thanks for the recommendations mike!
Found the Kiwi Knuckle grips way better than the VR Cover ones. They actually strap onto the controller so are WAY more secure and the strap feels much nicer. Not to mention that the come with a battery cover so you don't need to remove the grip to access the battery compartment (not that you need to do that very often).
That router is massive overkill. You'll get outstanding results with a TP-Link Archer AX1500 router for a fraction of the cost.
For a mat I went to Ikea and just bought a round 195cm (77 inch) "Stoense" rug. Much more comfortable/plush, generally nicer looking in the room and provides the same real world tactile boundary for my play space.
BOBOVR M2 Pro headstrap is by far the best. Fits perfectly, has a battery, and looks cool. (Just don't use the velcro bit in the front. Take that out and it's perfect.)
One person found this helpful.
The coolness factor is underrated
Hey man, just wanted to say thanks for the solid video! thanks to you I purchased the BoboVR M2 Headstrap, VR Cover Facial Interface Kit then for the controllers I picked up the VR Cover Controller Grips, VR Cover Halo Protectors. Definitely worth it, have a great new year bud!
Thanks for making my VR experience so much fun. I ended up getting the head strap with the extra battery pack and the VRcover for the face shield. I recommend those items 10/10.
is the bobo vr m2 pro you have heavy when you swing your head?
Bro that strap saved me, I just bought it because it was cheaper then the pro strap that I purchased the day before (I’ve cancelled the item now) and also, I felt unsure wether a strap worth 50 quid with a tendency of snapping was worth it, this new one looked way comfier
Just moved to quest, from the psvr. Things tracking is insanely good in comparison and having no cables is so sick. Although the psvr is definitely more comfortable
Yeah but the psvr has a screen door effect and way worse resolution...
Great video. I've just got in to VR and your videos are really helping. Thanks a lot.
With the bob vr I would recommend taking the top leather pads off if you have pressure there. This fixed all the pain with this head strap, would 100% recommend.
Great list, mine is:
1. Deluxe Audio Strap
2. 10,000 MAH PD battery strapped to the back of DAS
3. VR Cover facial interface
4. AMVR Grips
5. Panasonic eneloop pro batteries
6. Wifi 6 xiaomi ax3600 router (about $100, works great).
gonna cost as much as the quest
i feel bad seeing these lists for people and seeing then have routers as part of it since my internet modem is in my bedroom where i play, and thats the only place in the house it can go
The quest 2 actually has really good internal audio decoding. And they have enough amplification for audiophile planar headphones such as the hifiman 400se
Totally agree. A halo strap is a must for comfort in VR.
Nice vid, you did a good job explaining the the steel series feature about listening to the quest tethered and also being wirelessly connected to the pc for Discord and xyz. Very good to know, considering now there are ways to get Discord inside the quest
I wanna add a caveat to the boboVR m2 headstrap, Beardo wouldn't have experienced this since his head is super smooth, but as someone that has a fair amount of hair I found that I had to over-tighten it to keep it from sliding and it just felt really uncomfortable. I'm sure it's good for people who have short or no hair, but if you have more than a couple inches of length of hair it might be best to find a way to try before you buy.
I had the same issue and just brought my little brother the Vakdon M3 and found it to be alot sturdier with my long hair
My essential for vr would unmistakably have to be the Vr 2 power pack, around $160 it is the best thing I’ve used by far, I now get so much more gameplay than anything I’ve used before with around 5-6 hours, I always laugh at how my friends headsets are very low whilst mine still charging at 100%, the down side is how long it actually takes to charge for me I just leave mine overnight and play in the morning
I've got the the Steel Series Arctis Pro with the wireless base station. I use it while PC gaming and the wireless transmitter can pass the audio through the floor in the house, which is very handy when gaming in another room than my PC. Also sounds alot better than the my old Steel Series Arctis 5, much louder and alot better bass, it's also pretty expensive at over £300, but I picked it up on eBay for £130
Thank you so much, i needed a better headstrap, and it should be a big help for my vr games.
I'm very happy with the BoboVR M2, I have the same criticism of the original putting too much pressure on the face. I use audio technica m50x headphones with a short 3.5mm cable. I definitely think I'm going to get those grips you mentioned. I feel like my pinky and ring fingers get uncomfortable after a while, would be nice to open up my hands from time to time without controllers dropping.
I have the same headphones. Where did you find a short version of the cable that also works with the integrated lock on the headphones?
@@sebastiancoronadovergara5625 I actually have the bluetooth version of the m50x it has a regular 3.5mm jack in it.
@@sebastiancoronadovergara5625 I'm looking for a short version too, I ended up buying an adapter off ebay.
Main reason why I got the elite strap is so I could use my original oculus quest 2 carrying case for traveling
The controller batteries last longer because the LED lights in them blink instead of being constantly on like with the quest. I noticed this on the infra-red video you did when the quest 2 came out. Though the blinking will probably wear out the LEDs faster. I use silicone earcups to reflect the quest 2 in- headset sound toward my ears, it makes it notably louder and also allows me to hear my environment around me. But I'm changing over to a rift style headphone attachment for better clarity, bass, and loudness.
That Proximat has seen some use! Thanks for having it make your list :) Best-
I’m proud to say I own a virtual oasis VR cover the blue looks soooo good with the light gray pads
Hell yeah brother, I’ve got one as well, at first I was a bit worried about how well the white pleather would hold up but it still looks fresh!
I have it too, i loved the color the first time I saw his. I need to get a RexxReviews Orange..
How is it with glasses?
I’m trying to get one but it’s sold out in the US
I actually sent back and got a refund for the Bobo M2. It was somewhat comfy but I found I could never get a sweet spot where it was firmly on my head with a good viewing angle in the lens. I actually preferred the basic strap over it.
I really recommend aubika very very very. I bought the elite strap and bobovr in the past, and both broke, and the bobovr was a week after the purchase. I think bobovr is very cheap compared to aubika. Aubika also only costs 34.99 US dollars and has a 20% discount coupon. This is a better choice than other straps.
I'm looking at getting into VR, and was pleasantly surprised to see you recommend the headphones that I already own! Definitely going to save me a few dollars.
My daughter just ordered the facial interface and padding for ME! 🤗 The Virtual Reality Oasis set! OMG I cannot wait for it to get herrrrrrrre!!! 👏👏
Can you do a vid on the best of straps?
Honestly, get the BoboVr M2 Pro. A cheaper and better strap than the Elite Strap with the battery.
Yeah bobo m2 pro is way better
I think he has
I heard kiwi headstraps are really good
The mysticle talks about it
“Welcome the Oasis” we’re his first words. I’m theorizing this channel was named with that phrase in mind. I see you, Oasis, you’re a fan of the book Ready Player One by Ernest Cline. I get it, okay? I get it
Your bit on the original headstrap is brilliant 😂😂😂 the exploding head has me in hysterics 😂😂 but you're so right, it does feel like that 😅
Just got my Quest 2 yesterday, so this is just the video I needed !
For those who don't have Steel Series headset, the joints are fragile and are probably the number one issue with the steel series headsets in general. The newer the headset the worse the issue. It's because they have a metal plug into a plastic slot on the earcup, and any major twisting will crack and break the slot. You can either be very careful with them, or use plastiweld to reinforce the inside if you're good with DIY.
I prefer the M2 Pro over the M2, not just for the extra battery, but that battery also balances the headset pretty well. Both are amazing headstraps though
Can’t get them atm in uk
BOBOVR M2 Pro is the best choice I could've imagined. It's literally a game changer and additional weight in the back from the battery is a big advantage.
Great channel! I am new to the whole world of VR. Whenever I get into something new, I go all-in, so I have a lot to learn about VR. I am buying an Oculus Quest 2 as a birthday gift for my 13-year old son and I’m planning to buy the Pimax Reality 12K in Q4 of this year whenever it’s released or is available for pre-order.
When I saw him fake crying I actually felt bad for him lol
Quest 2: $300
Quest 2 accessories: $680
Your videos are greatly appreciated!! Thank you VRO!!!
Cheers mate! So happy to hear they’ve helped []-)
Total Newb to VR. Always out of my price range as a Dad. Got this for my Birthday and blown away. Watched lots of your content which has really helped. Obviously got Vader Immortal.
Anyway thanks for great content. New head mount ordered.
“Quest 2 can’t take full advantage of wifi 6” ??? What? It has wifi 6
Amazing products! Thanks for the help.
I agree about the mat. I have a large round shagpile mat in my living room and its perfect for this very usecase.
Cheers for this update Mike 👍
A simple no arm rest computer chair that can smoothly turn you around 360 degrees with no resistance is essential to me. Bought an Amazon basics low back computer chair just for VR
i love my blue light blocker lenses, way less photosensitivity and headaches when i use them. just need to find big enough case to fit my bobo headstrap in
been waiting for a video like this for ages
Just got one. Great bit of kit
Thank you so much, I play vr for a long time every day and I’ve decided to get
The bobo vr headstrap (the non battery version because it can’t ship to Australia)
And the blue virtual reality oasis face strap aswell
Thank you
Been waiting for this one 👍
Nice one! Been waiting for this...
Thank you for this video!! Very well made🤘🏼
U got my shopping list down, thank you.
For the straps for your hands I would recommend as an option of free is to make knuckle straps
Best video - thank you
Im getting a quest for Christmas (I think) I’ve watched ur vids for a year and uve really prepared me 😂. Thanks for the great vid
I LOVE enloop batteries!!! I use the non pro all day every day in flashlights/controllers/ THeir charger is amazing. HIGHLY recommend, Used them for YEARS.
THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO!
Thanks the adjustable strap for my oculus recently broke so ive been looking for a new one
Thank you I’m looking online but I got stuck on what to buy for my quest two thanks Mike
Love the content! Just had a quick question, when you record these vids are you doing PCVR with the quest or just using the quest? These vids are super high quality! 👌🏽🔥
Thank you so much i think im getting a oculus for christmas so this helps a lot!!
I'm planning to buy a quest 2 this week so this is useful
Really helpful vid thx
Oh Mike thanks!I found cool accessories and games from you,you are cool!
Ive had the same bobo vr headstrap and its so commfortable
I remember when I needed to get prescription inserts for my brother whatever first company I used couldn't handle his prescription. I ended using some company based in Germany and they gave me the lenses within a month due to me being in NJ.
i only just started watching you and i can't stop
keep it up :)
Definitely will be grabbing the headstrap and controller grips. Thank you!
Those VR cover handgrips are awful bro be careful. They don’t secure the controllers in place, multiple times I’ve had the controller fly across the room, nearly got hit in the head when my buddy was playing. Get the ones from Kiwi instead, these are a hazard fr
Waiting for your VR Cover to come back in stock!
I’m getting the quest 2 for Christmas and I’ve been watching a lot of videos about it
I understand what you are saying about the water melon bursting feeling. And my eye sockets hurt. I ordered the head strap that you recommended. I hope it works because I love this thing... :)
Thank you man you got me into vr
yo mike thanks! i have a arctis 7 and didn't realise you could do the dual audio thing.... discord chat while playing native Quest 2 is gonna be awesome thanks!
I just watched your first video and you have really come far
I use BOBO as well, extremely great headset.
I’m buying all these thanks bro
I've got the BoboVR M2 Pro Strap & Battery Pack arriving after Xmas and OH GODDAMN, I'm excited! :D
Cut 2 'Proximats' from a standard rectangular excercise mat. For orientation simply duct tape silicon thumb stick covers.
I have an arctis 5 headset which is very similar in build to the one you listed here and personally I don't use it because if I turn my head even slightly too fast or look down it tends to slide off because it's not very tight on my head, seeing as the only thing keeping it on is gravity pulling it downwards. It's also just generally more annoying personally to have all that stuff on my head especially when trying to adjust the headset or itch my head or something.
Haven't got it yet but ordered the aubrik one with the 5000 power bank built in. Might have to try the Bobo tho. Looks good. Can't wait to get mine tomorrow.
Mike, your amazing. Thanks for the vids keep it up :)
Thank you very much, I was looking for such a mat, but didn't know where to get one or how it is called.
Thanks lad if you don’t remember I asked on the space pirate arena glad to see your doing well lad merry Xmas 👍
