- In this video we have possibly the biggest battle ever? The Federation Galactica has been ported over to BC Remastered. So lets push the game to the limit. We're going to face every Enterprise, from the NX up to the G. Including the Titan G and the Eclipse G. As well as that, Deep Space Nine!

imagine a ship so massive you need galaxy class ships to act as escorts.
While the galactica does have armor with it being a starfleet version it definitely has shields as well

What irks me, it's a fighter carrier and still has the hangar pods: why didn't Starfleet put some fighters in them? And Galactic fires from her broadsides. There should be lots of side mounted torpedo launchers for broadside salvos.
At present, RE doesn't have an MVAM or Shuttle/Carrier scripting capabilities, possibly in the future.
There ARE Fed fighter ship mods out there, as well as some BSG fighters. Perhaps one day..
Maybe they turned those pods into warp cores
The UFP does not usually have all purpose warships. That is a heavily armed peaceful exploration ship that will peacefully explore you to death if you choose violence over dialog. 😂

Looks like it got Armoured Voyager tech. Awesome ship. Still like to see a Federation version of the Battlestar Pegasus and a Borg Assimilated Cylon Baseship

i think a Battlestar would be the equivalent of a Borg cube.

Oberth class would make the perfect infiltration ship. No threat to anyone and gets ignored as it passes by.
Sci-FiKing did make an Oberth From Hell I believe, but it is presently KM only
Thescale looked a little off here? The Galactica should be about 1200 meters while DS9 and the Odyssy should both be about 1000 meters so they both should have looked closer to the Galactica in size.

You did a great job. I hear there is a guy named Quark selling schematics for something called transphasic torpedoes I think they might be a good fit....😊

I like it. The only gripe I have is that the mapping needs some retweaking. The mapping on the right side of the ship is a mirror of the left, and that's why the lettering at the front of the right side is mirrored.

All of Quarks premises are fitted with an Emergency Beam Out. The whole bar, Latinum and of course comedian will be safely beamed to the nearest available trading post. Of course this may slightly impact bar takings for the evening. The divine treasury awaits!!

you know i wouldn't mind to see an "actual" upgrade battlestar...
its 600 CWIS replaced with either rapid fire disrupters, or small phasers in ball turrets - shuttle craft sized, or maybe mix of both, allowing for an insane "fire wall"
Flack cannons replace with rotor micro torpedo launchers, able to be set for impact or burst. Perfect for intercepting incoming torpedoes, small ships, missiles.
50 primary guns replaced with 10 heavy pulse phaser cannons forward. a series of 20 phaser strips for 360 long range coverage. and 20 torpedo/probe launchers mixed between 5 for, 5 aft, and 10 VLS
Its engine replaced/upgrade to Sublight drives, jump drive left there, but a back up "warp drive" added into the bottom of the hanger deck, (though likely limited to warp 6 max for 8 hours, warp 4 cruising.)
then kitted out with federation fighters and Runabouts, with the runabouts replacing the Raptors.
Try it against Galaxy class from hell and/or armored Voyager with Transphasic Torpedoes

You just said this was a Starfleet BattleStar Galactica, should that not mean it has both shields and ablative armour? And if you look at the simulation, some of the Phaser are strikes were stopping above the hull, that looked a lot like Shields to me.
What I don't understand is why Galactica's fire-power was so reduced? In the fly by there was only a handful of batteries on Galactica's dorsal plane. WTF?
In the first episode of the 2003 remake, at the Battle of the Ragnar Anchorage, Galactica held off two Basestars and their entire fleets. Over the course of the series, Galactica performed feats that not even the Mercury-class Pegasus could have come close too.
There is even an animated video of the original BSG fighting three Basestar's and holding them off long enough for their civilian fleet to put some distance between them and the Cylon's. Unfortunately,for the Cylon's, this happened within the Federation space and the Galaxy-class Enterprise investigated.
Once it saw a fleet of defenceless human's trying to get away from several raiders, it called in back-up. What followed was the greatest Cylon Ar*e-kicking they have ever experienced.

How can you not see the shields? The weapons literally explode at distance from the Hull, clearly indicating shields, not armour.
How about 5 Maylon ships vs. The New Galactica???? Who would win???? Let's find out, shall we????

The Federation Galactica is really a BEAST! I would absolutely love seeing one of these go against a large Dominion battle fleet comprised of Jem'hadar, Breen and Cardassian ships (fighters and battleships). I'm also wondering how one of these ships would fair against a Borg Assimilation Cube?
Also, um, I don't know if your aware of this, but either you or RUclips mis-classed this video in "Star Wars: Empire at War" instead of "Star Trek: Bridge Commander". Hope this helps!
I'm imagining the episode where Sisko shows up with the original Defiant and instead shows up in this Galactica. Miles O'Brien would pass out.. The Dominion, Cardassians and Klingons would collectively poop themselves..

Need to try this against the Borg Sphere (Base) from the UniMod 1 pack (for reference, said Sphere (Base) took out an OG DJ Eclipse in Remastered with little effort...

You need to go up against a fleet of Dominion ships in that to see and if you win that, then add Cardassian and Breen ships and see how it does lol.

The main strength of the Galactica is the fleet of vipers. It is a carrier after all
How many armored Voyagers would it take to put that beast down?
Does this Galactica have a tractor beam? And could it tow something like DS9?
And if you aimed it right, could you have thrown DS9 into that planet?

There is an old 2002 BSG pack I updated for RE and is nuts; the KM version has...VERY overpowered lasers...😅
Not at all realistic. Battlestars had kinetic weapons and missiles. Not a thing compared to federation technology.
This isn’t a stock Battlestar. It’s Galactica refitted with Federation technology.
That is an idea, update a Battlestar mod for RE using the Missile projectile.

I updated an old BSG mod to use missiles and went up against the Arcadia Refit and...Howly Cow, the Lag from the missiles!!!

How DARE you refer to Galactica as a "Beast" when the Pegasus is a thing!
The real Galactica´s armor is OK compared to the very primitive level of technology (except the out of place high ly advanced jump engines) that is not much better than in "The Expanse", but no where near to this mod ... in this mod the Galactica is crazy (armor & firepower)
Galactica is ~1.4km long... which is ~double the length of a Sov.
Deep space 9 is roughly the same length as the lore Galactica... that thing is way way way to big.
I don't buy it.
Even if Starfleet upgraded the Galactica with their weapons and shield, it would likely be brought up to the level of something like a Galaxy or maybe Sovereign class.
I sincerely doubt it would be this overpowered.
Galactica by itself is ridiculously technologically inferior to the federation in all areas except perhaps their jump drive.
Even if starfleet replaced it's hull with duranium/tritanium alloys, it would be comparable to other ships in that regard. The rest would depend on which type of power source it gets. If it gets a warp core then it might be comparable to the one on the sovereign.
But those turrets I doubt would be capable of firing phasers. The ship would either need to be refitted with phaser ball turrets or phaser strips and of course torpedo launchers.
Shield generators of comparable strength to the sovereign most likely.
So like I said, depending on it's overall size and how much of the internal structure and HW needs to be replaced (probably most of it), I don't think SF would be able to turn it into some kind of super ship.
Refits can at best rip out existing hull and HW, recycle it to create what is commonly used on SF ships and then slap it all back in appropriate for that design.
Like I said, it's unlikely that a refit Galactica can be so op. At best it would be comparable to a galaxy or sovereign class.
