    Vert truthful and commendable. I had my all on 4 with ziconia with bar, also had lower zirconia 4tooth bridge. But please remember you want the best zirconia ,i do believe they have different zirconia materials. It is a year on and absolutely feel great, had my hygienist visit 1 year later ,admittedly should of been at the 6month period ,my fault, hygienist said everything was the best and cleanest they had seen, and gurs dentist pointed out after removing my implant everything was amazingly clean ,

Zirconia all on 4 with a bar , and make sure they use the best zirconia 👍 anything else can wear down

    I appreciate your efforts to offer information regarding the differences between All on X and 3on6. I'm sure your desire is to help your patients and others. Most of the information you offer regarding 3on6, however, is inaccurate. I invite you to visit the Smile Clinic in Utah to see, and even participate in a 3on6 surgery. It's true that there are a rare few who don't have the bone to qualify for the three on six, but around 90% of those who had the All on X, could and should have had the 3on6. It is not true that the FP1 restorations end up being a single bridge rather than segmented into the 3on6. That has never happened here. Since there is no food trap with the 3on6, it is significantly more hygienic than the All on X, and does not have to be removed for cleaning. You do not lose your papilla, in fact the papilla between each tooth is your own gums. Because of the bone and tissue grafting we do, we don''t have cases of receded gums that show the implants. Independent studies show that the All on X is nearly 13 times more likely to break than a segmented 3on6 bridge, and about 10 times more expensive to replace. The cross arch stabilization you get with a single bridge puts less stress on each of the implants, and actually inhibits the strengthening of the bone in the way that segmented bridges do. We would love to host you in Utah at the smile clinic, let you participate in a surgery, and meet patients at the different stages of the process from beginning to end, even chat with some who have had it for several years. Give me a call at Utah Smile Clinic. Ask for Mike. I will also facilitate a telephone or video conversation with any of our doctors. Thanks.

They pulled the implants out of my jaw while trying to tightened them . Be ware …this wasn’t my problem , but anll my trips I run into tons of people annd their issues..…all of people bodies will reject the implant after all those months of pain , drugs and aggravation . Hello, can you define the terms FP1, FP2 and FP3? Are these different from the 3 on 6 with three individual bridges?
    I think maybe the full definitions were missed in the video. I was confused by the end when it was discussed which dentist would opt for what when it came to their own hypothetical procedure.
    Did most of the office choose an all on six solution (is that FP1 or FP3?) ? And then if that doesn’t work, all on 4 (FP2?)?

    the best scenario is do a set of bone grafting for the first year while using temporary dentures and use implants with no fake gums.
    first teeth are extracted and treated with a whole bone graft, when gums are healed regardless of the bone line, one small incision is made so a laser probe under the gums can scrape the surface of the bone so the bone graft can take hold, a half tube in the shape of the jaw is inserted under the gums on the area that was scraped and filled in with bone graft, the half tube is then later removed after the bone graft "dried up" the half tube allows bigger amount of vertical and horizontal bone graft to be used more than the required needs and at the same time stretch the gums and force them to grow, after 9 months the patient will have a huge bone callus with a lot of available gum that can be easily sculped and able to be inserted as many implants one needs even if one implant per crown, gum triangles between teeth are made with normal linear square sutures made partially on top of the implants crowns that are gently trimmed to perfection in two or 3 sessions, the result will be a perfect natural gum line with bespoke zirconia teeth and unless people do an x-ray its impossible to see by eye its a implant.
    price it will be 3 times more than traditional all on 4 implants (150k/280k GBP) but will give also 3 times better results, last till you die! the procedure till completion will take little over than 2 years, its very painful even with medication and not pretty, specially during the last stage of the bone graft or the bone callus formation period where its difficult to eat solid foods.
    for this procedure you need a faciomaxillary surgeon

      Very informative. I have had all my teeth taken out years ago. Recent xrays show I have healthy gums and good bone density for my age (over 70). Am I right in assuming that I won't need any bone graft so the procedure should not take quite so long? Also, with this more expensive solution will cleaning around the bridge be easier than all on 4?

    Hi Dr. Choi,
    Have you done a video on what is better all-on-4 vs snap in? (down side pitfalls) I can't afford the all-on-4 and wondering what the snap in type downfalls to the all-on-4's performance or how much I am leaving on the table in settling with snap in type. I really don't want traditional dentures. Even though I have one of the best dental insurance plans out there the limit on covering an implant is restricted (2 a year), the removal sedation and cost of a regular denture is covered at 80%. I know the implants are different and can't be used in the future for all-on-4. Something along the lines of having to be longer. Dr's here in Phoenix who are pushing for 60K full mouth restore tell me the snap in type will be good only for about a week then the bands get loose, and btw, we don't do that here, wasting their time with the apt. I've just recently walked out of an office when the Dr, was explaining that my health is more important than worrying about a 2nd mortgage, spend the 60K. Does your practice do snap in dentures? If so how many visits would be needed, I would be flying back and fourth from Phoenix. The last Dr I talked with this week said all-on_4 you have 80% of chewing, snap in 25-30% and regular dentures 10%. (edited: oops I did a search of your videos and found you did one 7 months ago round table.)

    • @justinkiggins3106
      @justinkiggins3106 Месяц назад

      I've done a number and snap in dentures for patients and I use Zest anchors, do not use novaloc. The initial caps which are blue last about 4-6 weeks, I next move to the pink and I usually see them last anywhere from 6-12 moths. There is a clear cap which is the strongest, I don't use it very much because it makes the snap in denture tough to remove and the pink (medium) caps work very well. The upside the snap in denture is ease of cleaning the implants, the down side is that the teeth are acrylic. All on 4 materials are stronger. The #1 complaint with all on 4 is bad breath, Dr Choi is correct in that ease of cleaning for all on 4 is dependent on who makes the prosthesis, I would also add it depends on who does the surgery and how the gums heal. I don't know that one is "better" than the other, they each have pros and cons.

    Is it true that extraction of teeth will remove source of existing gum infection and therefore the implants can be done immediately after the extraction in one dental appointment? This is what I am advised by the dentist I am seeing. Shouldn’t we wait for the gum to completely recover from infection and then do implants?

I was told if you have good bone structure after tooth is extracted then I think placement of an infant would be ok. They can even add bone graft during then too.
