I feel sooooo bad for this woman! I am having somatic implant nightmares. The people who do this to us are unbelievably cruel. I don’t know how they sleep at night. My entire life as I knew it has ended. The depression is real. What our children see us go through is something children should never have to see. The humiliation, pain, reclusiveness…. Our daughters should never have to see any of it. I pray this woman gets help. I pray we all do.

North of $85, 000 over 30 years in root canals, crowns, and bridges. Now most of the teeth have failed. This leaves me cynical and suspicious of dental treatment. I expect any new dentist would be offended by my level of anviety, but it is based on experience. Sell the dream, live the nightmare.

I am in the same boat. I spent 68K on The All On 4 and I completely regret it. I am in constant pain and discomfort. the only time the pain goes away is when I'm asleep. I had already had numerous root canals and other teeth work and was told this would solve my problems. I will never trust a dentist or doctor again. There is no way that I will ever go to a hospital or take any medication for any reason ever again

“Emotional” doesn’t even begin to describe it. Most American’s gross annual income wouldn’t cover the initial surgery. Insurance doesn’t cover it. Then add in every other expense because a person can’t only pay the dental bill. This is the kind of thing that will drive someone to the brink of thinking “the world is better off without me”

You are absolutely right. If the person scrambled up $50,000 and ended up having problems like this, it would be tempting to just leave the party for good.

Yes I am was one of those people. My teeth were not healthy and I didn’t have the money to fix them. I had them pulled at low income dental clinic in February. They charged based on our income. These places don’t give you dentures. So I bought some really pretty face masks off Amazon. I can be in public and no one knows. I am missing all my teeth. Eating I am back on the same type of solid food. I was before my teeth were pulled. Except for crunchy hard stuff. Yes it was sad that I lost my teeth. But I have a lot to be grateful for. The dentist who pulled those teeth. Stopped infection that was spreading. It was only matter of time before. Things would become life threatening. Eventually I will have dentures it might be few years. But I will get them. Whether it is teeth you can’t fix or something else you can’t afford to do. You got realize the most important thing. Is you with or without teeth. Are still the same person. You aren’t ugly or failure. Sometimes things happen that are beyond your control. It does get better you just take one day at time.

Domestic spending on healthcare programs in the United States. Is separate part of the federal budget. Spending you are talking about is foreign aid. My not having dentures has zero to do with Israel or Ukraine getting foreign aid.

I saw 2 different dentists, 8 months apart, that when I told them both how much my molar upper right hurt me, #3 tooth, neither one referred me out to a Endontist. The tooth that was hurting was a very old root canal. Now, Endontist tells me he doubts he can save that tooth. 😢
Found out, in the state of Nevada, the greedy rich business owners including dentists all own the politicians and our laws screw every patient while protecting even the most inscrupulous dentist.
No attorney even wants to file any lawsuits against them. One attorney told me the laws are so difficult to maneuver that he gave up filing any dental suits forever!
We live in such a cold, cruel country where the rich own the politicians. F this.

I am not getting implants but my younger brother. He is 49 years old. Two years ago he had root canal’s done on top teeth. The crown came off. One of them because the root canal failed. He was at the dentist. They told my brother that all of his top teeth need to be pulled. The root canal’s failed. His bone health is good. The dentist has given him choice between traditional bridge. Which will not last as long. Or implants my question is do you think. He should get second opinion from another dentist??

Invention of All on 4 is really a disservice to the dental patients of the world. From 90s till mid 2000, full arches of implant restorations were done with the traditional design of porcelain fused to noble metal, based on crown and bridge principles. Cleansibility and proper bite were critical to success, in addition to esthetics. Restorations lasting for 20 years or more are the norm. What I see, ever since the movement to All on 4, are inevitable failures of very expensive restorations. Why? Because all the basic principles of crown and bridge design are violated....very very sad!

    • @sk135ker
      @sk135ker 2 месяца назад +5

Seems like a blanket statement. Cleansibility and occlusion shouldn't be an issue with All-on-4 if done by someone who knows what he/she is doing.

Ended up picking a dentist office in the nicer part of city. They have good reviews, so will see what happens. I must live in a cheap state or something for dentistry. Because $50,000 - $60,000 is pretty up there. Or some dentist dentist like to overcharge, idk?

When you have big money like dentists do, you want to control how you can make even more. Greed makes the rich want to own politicians that loosen or erase the laws that protect the consumer, you & me.
In Nevada, I just learned today, not one attorney of the 15 I called want to even file any suits against dentists here because the laws are so hard to work with as an attorney working to get relief for your client, they all just give up.
Greed. The more $$$$ these guys make, the more they want.

You won’t know what kind of implant was used. Whoever does this surgery you won’t know what kind of training the dentist had. You just saw video of lady who had implants done in the US. They failed you want go outside the country putting yourself at greater risk. Absolutely nuts to do this. All to avoid removing your teeth at night. You better hope there is no serious complications from the procedure. Because no dentist in the states will want touch you. Huge liability for them to work on you. When they don’t have any idea what materials or implants were used.

I think there might be some financial issues with patient that is why previous dentist did not insert an extra implant to prevent cantilever effects.. Second thing is that you can't say that one or two implant are questionable just by looking at periapical xray for this you have to do CBCT Xray... And every all on four prosthesis do have some cleaning and maintenance issues that is not previous dintist fault.. It could be because of patient as well not following oral hygiene instructions not using water flosser.. Etc
