    It's crazy to think that some doctors would put your final teeth in so quickly. I have been wearing my temps for 2 months now. At first they fit perfectly - they were sealed to the bone. I could barely tell where they stopped and the flesh begun. That's how perfectly they fit me. But over time the swelling subsided and the bone did its shrinking. Now I can feel big gaps between the arches and the flesh. If I had these teeth put in as finals I would be happy with them for like 3 weeks. That's when they started showing gaps. I cannot imagine having them for many years. As Dr Koukousaki said, you somehow blow bubbles through those gaps, you get a lisp, also food gets stuck in there, like whole rice grains. This can only be a temporary discomfort. In fact it would be cool if a second set of temps was offered after a couple of months, lol. But yeah, if those were my finals I would be pissed.

      I'm still in my temporary teeth until the end of August or September. My gums are already shrinking and changing, so having permanent teeth right after surgery is a mistake. In August, I'm having them make a change, and I will go up one shade of white, which means I'll get a new set of temporary teeth. You can't do that with permanent teeth. My permanent teeth will fit much better because all of the healing and shrinking will be done.

      Why can’t you get updated temporaries?

    • @silkymeadows126
      @silkymeadows126 28 дней назад

      @@savvyshopperdelivers you can, snd you do at some point when everything heals and you need trials - temps that resemble your finals. No need to update them more than that - its not cost effective for the doctor and is unnecessary for the patient (might actually increase the cost too)

    Watching you lately and you have been extremely informative. Do you know of a good oral dentist in Colorado that you would recommend?

    Never gargle with Hydrogen Peroxide. It can cause dry socket, which is incredibly painful. Gargle with warm salt water. These doctors are first to recommend gargling with warm salt water. Gargling with warm salt watwr was recommended after the first 24 hours by my oral surgeon.

    Is all on 4 better than 3 on 6? You don’t have to cut the gums and bone? You use your natural gumline with 3 on 6? For the all on 4 - what type of tool do you use to resurface the gum and bone?

    • @sabik6979
      @sabik6979 3 месяца назад

      It all depends on different factors that which will determine how many implants you need. I have 6 in my upper jaw and 4 in my lower jaw, and yes, they do have to shave the jawbone down because the prosthesis needs to be flat so food doesn't get stuck underneath and it needs a flat surface to sit on. 3 implants is not enough. You need 4 implants at minimum for a full arch prosthesis like I have.

    Trying to finish my comments..after having all teeth pulled and dentures put right in...ended up in er bc of bleeding..so from age 16 to now 79 I've worn dentures. Never happy bc of pain and problems and wonder if all on 4 wld work for me or have I waited too long. Not even sure I'd b able to get them due to price but it it such a dream to have teeth that look and feel good. I've watched so many videos and may have to keep on dreaming. Thank u all for giving out good honest information..so much appreciated and I'm so happy for all that r able to get it done bc I know how they must feel. God Bless!

    Question, do you recommend extractions first then wait a few months and then get implants or can we get extractions and implants at same time. My fear is having the implants showing and exposed on final look, just would like a nice smile. What questions do you recommend i ask my oral surgeon to assure good results?

    • @savvyshopperdelivers
      @savvyshopperdelivers Месяц назад

      Most dentists do extractions, implant placements & a temporary set of teeth all in one day. Then you wait 3-4 months (depending on your dentist), for your implants to fuse well to your bone and all swelling to go down, then they place your final teeth.

    I hope no one ever gets All on 4 because of listening to them. Learn all you can about this surgery. Then consider 3 on 6.

    This is a stupid question but something I worry about. I am getting iv sedation and am worried that I may start telling my intrusive thoughts. Does that happen?

    • @Progene01
      @Progene01 5 месяцев назад +2

      North Texas sedation doesn't put you all the way under so what you mention is something to watch out for and they can give you commands. Other surgeons I've visited put you out completely and for me is better. When you're pulling out my teeth, I don't want to hear that shit...

      I had all my teeth pulled in February. I was awake when it was done. If you have the money to be fully sedated. I highly recommend that you do it. Every tug and noise you will hear. It makes what is already traumatic experience. A lot worse.

      I insist on being out! But as far as your question, if that happens, it’s usually in the recovery room & no worries, u won’t tell all ur secrets BUT if you think your dentist is hot, you will probably tell them that! Lol! Usually just funny stuff in my experiences!

    Hello! I'm a 32 year old, legally blind guy who had all his teeth extracted in December of 1022 with the promise of teeth in a say by a national brand. A year and a half later - still no snap ins. The dentist talked me out of All On 4s and even told me Zirconia was a bad idea. I'd love to know if you'd be interested in collaborating on a way to help me get this fixed and you could use any content derived at your leisure on your channel and for your profit. I have insurance and some cash.

      I'm about to get the all on 4. Snap on are too much like dentures. The dentist point blank lied to you. It's not good to keep taking and putting the teeth in and out. And it will cause problems down the road. Zacornia is very hard and heavy. It will last. I pray you don't see that dentist again. I'm going through clear choice. Lots of locations. Good luck

      Insurance doesn't cover implants. They cover removable dentures. So whatever cash you have is it. I hope and pray someone will help you for free.
