I have faith in Hurts though and our team is very talented and genuinely seem to enjoy playing together. The Eagles are the team that made me start watching football and I believe this is our year!

This video is missing the RUN GAME which the Eagles are 4th and was 1st last year in the run...He missing the point the Eagles twice this year kept the ball for 7 mins to run out the clock Cowboys game was a great example of that drive....It's way more to this offense then throwing...The ability to keep the ball 80% of the time in the 4th qt with a lead is what completes the Eagles...The rest of the league better hope they don't figure it out
So anyway we’re halfway through the fourth quarter of Week 8 (immediately after you uploaded this) and Jalen Hurts has 4 deep TD passes and 300 yards. Whoever this Alex Rollins guy is clearly doesn’t know anything about the sport lmao. The Eagles werent throwing it deep because they were playing teams with a poor run defense. That last point is accurate. Defenses can adjust to stop the underneath throws and screens but then they have to worry about getting beat deep. Even though Hurts still has some developing to do I think he can definitely exploit that
This video is hard to agree with because the Eagles are a RUN team, they are 1st in running (BEFORE THE BYE) and was 1st last year....The Eagles control the clock for 80% of the time in the 4th quarter - This is a pick your posion football team and the Cowboys game should have showed the NFL that, When Lane Johnson went out in the 3rd the Eagles ran the ball down the Cowboys throat they had a 7 plus min drive in the 4th quarted for a TD - This offense once it clicks its going be a nightmare
Why do we have to throw deep if we don't have to? Are the defenses he are going against covering the passes? Is he simply taking what the defenses are giving him?
Exactly. The Eagles have so many different ways to win matchups. If one thing doesn't work; they can do something else. Like they did against Dallas when they needed that clock killing drive with Lane on the sideline. Steelers came in prepared for the stuff they do at the line of scrimmage, got burnt deep.
