Worth every penny. I made a numerous research on this chair reputation and why the astronomical price. I'm not rich but my back is pushing me to find the best there to provide my back and butt labor long hours a day. It hurts and I know I got shamefully lazy, as the result of slacking and slouching posture. Never got the chance to try aeron out physically, I bought remastered in the end and still skeptical if this is the right decision while shipping. Trust me, I'm surprise of the quality of the services the chair are providing me. 1. Magical flex mesh. 2. Almost perfect Lazy-Proof ergonomic design. 3. Focus front-tilt. 4. Highly tolerance armrest. 5. Size matching. My appreciation to the late Herman Miller & D.J. De Pree for the acquisition and made it possible for Bill and Don to realize this chair. And yes I even studied their history. I'm so impress that I took my time to write this long. YOLO
This is really sad to say im from sri lanka and i recently bought aeron chair from our local authorized company JAT. But the chair has too many issues makimg noises etc... Then I returned and bought high end one with all top material aeon chair two, but really sad to say that chair is also making really bad noises and its wobbling on side ways. Im really dissapointed with aeron chairs. If Herman Miller see this message please help me i wasted $1800.
@alexworm1707 I agree the base should not be plastic on a chair of this caliber that was known for its top level build quality as well as support ergonomics, if you wanted a plastic base you buy a staples chair not a Herman Miller that is a sad and crazy choice to skimp on, at $1,800 asking price now, sorry not cool ... I love the heavy build of my classic they should be using the same type of heavy aluminum base on the Remastered just modernize it a bit if needed but don't make it out of plastic, the base is where all the stress will be as you move about with the chair. In my opin while some things do seem improved too many seem like a downgrade in build quality for the price.
