It makes me glad to see that multiple people have recommended watching this movie's sequel, The Collection. I love the second movie, and thought I was the only one who did.
On 17 July 2024 - Filmmaker Marcus Dunstan, who is the screenwriter and director of both movies of The Collector franchise, confirmed that a third movie The Collector 3, also known as The Collected (working title), is finally coming after a 12-year wait.
Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan originally wrote this as a Saw prequel and the guys at Lionsgate were so impressed that Patrick and Marcus ended up writing Saw IV, V, VI and 3D
The collector is such an underrated horror icon he’s creepy yet doesn’t just rely on his traps he’ll gladly do his dirty work with his own hands. I’m so happy the third movie is gonna release after being on a shelf for so many years.
There’s an alternate ending where Arkin is fleeing the house and he turns around and sees the little girl in the window but instead of going back to save her he just says “Fuck this” and continues running away 😂 😂
It's the smart move, and horror protagonists aren't legally allowed to make good decisions. A rich family with a kid who live in a big house being reported as being robbed, attacked, and murdered would have a sub 1 minute emergency response time.
The fact you wore a Korn shirt while they played a korn song (while Arkin was trying to get on the safe the first time) is poetry I discovered this channel a few days ago and had quickly jumped to one of my favorites
I love hearing people say that jigsaw from the movie saw is Kevin McAllister from home alone, but I really think this is actually Kevin McAllister the way he traps and set up traps around around the house
This, and the sequel are both great little modern-day cult classics.. shame it's taken this long for the 3rd one to come together - but alas, here we are.
Off topic but I have that same Korn shirt. You have great taste in movies AND music! 😊 Love this movie and ya’ll’s reaction! You both make my day when you post! 🖤
31:30 I'm not sure if someone said it already, but there is an alternate ending where he just flips her the bird and runs away xD Could have saved him so much fucking trouble xD
Theres a post credit scene with arkin in the box threatening the collector while he sits on the box looking at projection slides of houses for him to break into next
asa emory aka the collector is my favorite slasher of all time so imagine how loud i screamed when i saw one of my favorite horror film reactors watching this! we’re finally getting the third one after all this time btw and it can’t come quick enough!!
An underrated film! I love both of them. And the writers of Saw 4-7 wrote these, and one of those writers directs them. So you can totally see that inspired them for this. Definitely check out the sequel!
I watched The Collection first, not sure I was even aware it was a sequel at the time, just heard it had an epic opening. Which it does. Don't remember when I actually watched this one for the first time, but do remember being pleasantly surprised Madeline Zima was in it. Really happy they're getting to make the third movie, they've wanted to do it for so long.
An awesome movie, theres a second movie of it called The Collection.I recommend you Stay Alive it has a joystick on the cover and i think it's from 2006,another one would be Coming Soon it´s a Thai movie.
A couple to check out if you both have not already. The hills have eyes 2006 Dead mans shoes Eden lake Incident in a ghostland Idle hands all good films for October.
Like it starts off kinda slow and kinda awkward but ohhhh it gets good. Also whenever his eyes were looking creepy it's because they made him wear special contacts to make them look like that. But ironically it did make him blind whenever he wore them
The cat moment was horrendous and I always tell people before they watch ‘Not to spoiler you, but if you can’t handle a cat pretty gruesomely dying, either skip the moment he enters a room and get stuck in some slime or don’t watch’ cause I remember the first time I watched and I was completely sickened by the cat. But this movie is so good in such a pulp slasher way. Leave your logic at the door and just enjoy
Loved the reaction. You two have to watch The Collection. Lets say if this movie is Alien, then The Collection is Aliens in terms of totally kicking it up a notch. With everything, kills, gore, action, everything. I actually prefer the second one over this. But the this one is still highly enjoyable.
Honestly, I've loved it from the beginning. I adore the main actor and his sweet accent (he was on Criminal Minds too as JJ's husband). But I just really dig the plot. Same thing with the following sequel. Glad ya'll liked it too!
Great horror movie, with a great unsettling antagonist! Saw meets Home Alone. So underseen. The sequel is enjoyable, but more of a thriller (kind of like what Aliens was to Alien, but not as good as that comparison). P.S. I like how they were talking for a second about whether there'd be boobies in this movie, cause I was like there actually are, and they are worth seeing.
It makes me glad to see that multiple people have recommended watching this movie's sequel, The Collection. I love the second movie, and thought I was the only one who did.
Collection is great
I'm surprised that Hannah wasn't mentioned in the sequel.
I makes me happy that this franchise is being talked about.
The second one is like ....damn how did yall think of this?! It's so great!😫😍😍😍

and every single one of those was terrible... lionsgate has a knack for finding hacks 😜

Hasn't had enough attention to be an icon... I wish that weren't the case though.
🤘 woooo
This movie was actually pitched as a prequel to Saw but it got denied. But thats probably why its so saw esc.
There’s an alternate ending where Arkin is fleeing the house and he turns around and sees the little girl in the window but instead of going back to save her he just says “Fuck this” and continues running away 😂 😂
Lol

me clocking Grave Encounters in the beginning like, "oh I love that movie" lol
This movie has one of the top ten creepiest serial killers in movie history.
Happy belated birthday, Bridget!
Now you gotta watch the sequel. It's a great one, two punch!
"I'm trying to clean these windows" cracked me up, don't think I'll be able to watch this film the same way again 😂😂
You have to watch part 2 , its great and shows ya what happens to Arkin ! You need to watch it The Collection must see to finish this movie !
This movie is the perfect “f@&$ you thought what going to happen.”
Loved that you guys reacted to The Collector. Definitely should watch The Collection. Great sequel and it's frickin nuts!
The fact you wore a Korn shirt while they played a korn song (while Arkin was trying to get on the safe the first time) is poetry
I discovered this channel a few days ago and had quickly jumped to one of my favorites
I don’t even wait to give the thumbs up 😂. I give it immediately!
Arkin!!! One of the most dopest horror movie survivor!🔥🔥🔥
He's such a great actor
Too bad he’s a criminal
This is what happens when you keep forgetting about your son Kevin? He grows up to be a serial killer.
Underrated home invasion horror film!
I love hearing people say that jigsaw from the movie saw is Kevin McAllister from home alone, but I really think this is actually Kevin McAllister the way he traps and set up traps around around the house
I love you guys so much, never been this early before. Thanks for making my night easier

This, and the sequel are both great little modern-day cult classics.. shame it's taken this long for the 3rd one to come together - but alas, here we are.
The speed with which the Collector sets up is insane! Love this movie.
The windex bottle reference I couldn’t stop laughing 🤦🏻♀️😂
so glad you watched this! it's also produced by same people behind SAW!
Off topic but I have that same Korn shirt. You have great taste in movies AND music! 😊 Love this movie and ya’ll’s reaction! You both make my day when you post! 🖤

ICE NINE KILLS REACTION
WORK OF ART
It’s dope!
Me, at about 23 minutes in: Oh yeah, that's why I haven't watched this. I'm squeamish when it involves animals.
This is underrated. The Collections great too :D. I feel like The Collector vs. Art the Clown would be so interesting.
31:30
I'm not sure if someone said it already, but there is an alternate ending where he just flips her the bird and runs away xD
Could have saved him so much fucking trouble xD
The Collection is just as good ya'll. You're gonna love it! The ending is badass.
😂😂 I like the comment "I hate this music thing", literally as KoRn starts playing
Theres a post credit scene with arkin in the box threatening the collector while he sits on the box looking at projection slides of houses for him to break into next
Great reaction plus the collector should be up there with all these other killers
This is one of my favorites horror movies, the 2 is cool too. Def underrated

I saw this in the theater. What an experience
RIP the cat and dog :(
The beginning of the second one will blow your mind
Oh awesome. I have both this and the collection on DVD still.
These movies are great and i can’t wait for the 3rd! Very underrated series!
An underrated film! I love both of them.
And the writers of Saw 4-7 wrote these, and one of those writers directs them. So you can totally see that inspired them for this.
Definitely check out the sequel!

Would love to see you guys react to ‘The Boy (2016)’ as it’s such a good movie I think you’ll love!

What a moment to miss out on Feast! Its a hilarious movie!
I rented that movie YEARS ago at blockbuster not thinking anything of it, ended up being one of my FAVORITES.
@@virgeldubose6688 Lol same! The "intro" was very memorable along with some... other scenes 😅😆
Best alternate ending for a movie ever hopefully you watched it!

Wow, I was going to recommend this one 💜💜
I watched The Collection first, not sure I was even aware it was a sequel at the time, just heard it had an epic opening. Which it does. all good films for October.
In this movie definitely got into the traps like from Saw films only as Home Alone.
Where did you guys stream this?? I wanna watch with you guys
3:02 that scared the shit outta me the first time I saw that lol
Like it starts off kinda slow and kinda awkward but ohhhh it gets good. Also whenever his eyes were looking creepy it's because they made him wear special contacts to make them look like that. But ironically it did make him blind whenever he wore them
I ordered this movie on Comcast tv in my cousin's house like around 2009 and we were hooked it was a awesome film
The sequel is worth checking out too
You poor poor souls ahahah going into this movie blind is nuts
Also, the collector has a mean right hook. Able to always knock a person out lol
the guy that’s doing this he was the guy who had the mask over his face doing the bees in the beginning
i saw feast on there.. if you haven't seen that one, it's a lot of fun....
Love the shirt girl. This is a good movie☠️🪦😂
LFG💯🤘🏾 one of my favorites
Hahaha,,,none of this was here when we got here!!
I like the original "The collector" 1965 it's a cult classic ✌️❤️
Loved the reaction. You two have to watch The Collection. Lets say if this movie is Alien, then The Collection is Aliens in terms of totally kicking it up a notch.
With everything, kills, gore, action, everything. I actually prefer the second one over this. But the this one is still highly enjoyable.
28:17 seeing the yabos of the youngest daughter from the Fran Drescher The Nanny series was not on my bingo card the first time I'd seen this movie.
Do Feast! Its Hilarious.
This is such a hidden gem
you guys need to watch the collection, the second one ❤😅
Case 39 is a horror about this child protection agency worker. If you liked Orphan then you should see this.
The collection the collection.
This movie was amazing. Home alone meets saw
This film and it's sequel are great. I watched alot of indie scifi and horror.
Love this movie! Good choice!
I always get this mixed up with The Bone Collector 😂
I LOVE this movie! And the follow-up.
Honestly, I've loved it from the beginning. I adore the main actor and his sweet accent (he was on Criminal Minds too as JJ's husband). But I just really dig the plot. Same thing with the following sequel. Glad ya'll liked it too!
Five years canceled the collector 3. July 2024, return.
Im pretty sure this was written as a Saw prequel but got denied
Great horror movie, with a great unsettling antagonist! Saw meets Home Alone. So underseen. The sequel is enjoyable, but more of a thriller (kind of like what Aliens was to Alien, but not as good as that comparison).

Would love to see you guys watch the Scooby Doo live action movies!
''it's like Saw''
I'm actually pretty sure that it was the same guys who made this.
