Ot, the tiny creature that you think is fake is actually a fairly young armadillo. We just don't usually hear them vocalize, just like how guinea pigs can scream like car alarms.
Gods, I used to show rabbits, and oftentimes they had cavy shows at the same time. You could tell when one of them was NOT happy. That is why my mom never allowed me to have one.
i about lost it laughing when he called an armadillo a pokemon and not real.... I think the only reason I knew what it was is that I grew up in Texas. (even though I never actually saw one in the 13 years I lived there aside from pictures or as stuffed animals, which I have a few plushie armadillos that I will protect with my life because adorable!)
One of my favourite things about homosexuality in nature is that they've discovered that while there are homosexual rams, it's impossible to work out if there are lesbian sheep because the way ewes express sexual interest is by standing still, so a bunch of ewes standing together could be just hanging out, or all be lesbians asking each other for sex, it's impossible to tell 😂
Fun Fact: Purple matresses also have fiberglass in them.Don't take the covers off, they put a fiberglass "sock" in between the cover and the bed as a fire retardant. Source: I used to work for them.
Don't need to worry about that with me, I'll never buy a mattress from them anyway. I despise how the silastic material feels as it compresses. It's a lot like a poorly made inner-spring mattress. It feels wobbly and I hate it. If I'm going to spend a lot on a mattress, and Purple mattresses aren't cheap, then I'll just spend a bit more and get a Tempur-Pedic. They're real quality.
that's the point, tiktokcringe was repurposed from a cringe subreddit into a "funny tiktok" subreddit after a poll because most of the users weren't there for cringe
@@whatisfzeroanymore2nd that's actually really cool! "Cringy" things are often kids being kids, neurodivergent people, and/or people having harmless fun. I'm glad the subreddit changed for the better /gen
I do agree; cringe very easily turns ableist, racist, and xenophobic because those three things influence more who is given less leeway for awkward moments. It makes sense to drop the cringe focus.
Fun fact about the whole humans can't feel wet thing - The hair on your arms/legs and how it moves combined with sudden temperature shifts from evaporative cooling is what helps you feel 'wetness' First time I shaved my legs and then had a shower it felt so dang weird because I completely lost that ability to tell when my legs were wet.. it basically felt like nothing, only a slight pressure when hit directly
Told my mom about the trend of kids telling their parents their favorite celebrity died, and then said, "So did you hear David Bowie died?" Her response: "Uh, DUH!" Thought it'd be funnier to say someone she already knew was dead
I was expecting that punchline! I thought there was going to be one with a super obvious punchline of someone who was already dead, so that the trend would at least have a funny end, but it didn't...
When my brother, a cis man, got his COVID vaccine, the nurse taking down his personal info asked him if he could be pregnant, to which he replied with "Not to my knowledge" For a moment I entertained the possibility that they were being trans inclusive but they also asked my 78-year-old grandma, so no, they will just ask everyone for some reason.
Make 0 assumptions about who might or might not be pregnant is a thing they teach you in medical training. Also ask "are you taking any medications" and if they say no run down the list of common conditions/medications because stuff like "yeah there's insulin for my diabetes but that's not a medication because I do it every day" is surprisingly common.
ok so I just need to let you all know that after 10 years of HRT and transitioning the medical community has now officially gaslit me into fearing pregnancy. I don't have a uterus. I have never had a uterus, but when every doctor asks you 3 times in a row if you're pregnant you start to wonder if they know something you don't.
I want a lot of medical professionals to comment about this exact subject. If you're going to force a pregnancy test on a person, then why ask if you're not going to take their word for it one way or the other. I'm in my 30's and have never did "it". The only time I ever want to is when my body is ovulating, but I'm not about to go out and find a stranger to satisfy a biological urge. I will tell the doctors that I never have and yet they still make me and charge me for a pregnancy test. Like, I don't mind them testing for infections or whatever, but I do mind being charged for a pregnancy test when I know full well and have told them I'm not pregnant. I'm not sure if this comment will get deleted or "hidden", because of words used.
You've made me feel more comfortable being a trans woman on the internet than anything else has, and I just want to say thank you for that. Please continue to be the absolute blessing to humanity that you are. Also, the animal at 3:50 is a baby armadillo!
Molly Moon is so damn cool, honestly. Making surrealist art with a ‘90s FMV theme is super creative, and I’m surprised nobody else has capitalized on that. She keeps getting her videos age restricted and removed by TikTok, though, and that’s a shame. None of her work that I’ve seen is overly explicit or violent, it’s just (purposely) unsettling and weird.
33:15 i recently came out as trans to my mom and she actually had an extremely similar reaction (minus the ear question lmao). She responded with pure acceptance and asked me to be patient as she tries to learn more because it’s a very new concept for her. It meant more to me than she’ll ever know.
My best friend has always been like a sibling to me, and my parents have treated them like their own. When they came out as a lesbian and later as genderfluid, my mom had a similar reaction too. She would always be supportive of her babies, even the ones not blood related. Stories like these are just so wholesome!
Oh, she does. Seems like she loves you deeply, so she knows. She probably saw how much it meant the second she saw you react to her words, really. She might not understand your whole situation and all the parameters of your transition if you need one, sure, but not understanding everything about their kid has never stopped a loving parent of being supportive and understanding how much that support means for their kid, especially if you know the child has suffered because of their situation. And it probably means as much to her to know that you trust her enough to come out to her than her acceptance means to you. Happy new year
As someone who was a teenagers in the 80s, I can confirm that there was a "gay ear" and a "straight eat" when a guy had just one ear pierced. Code. Gay men especially relied on codes for lots of things. There's an interesting history there if you are interested in learning more. I just have to say I love your content and I love your laugh. You make me laugh.
Yup, came here to confirm. Just having the right ear pierced was code for gay guys looking for other gay guys. Unfortunately, us gals didn't have a cool code. Just softball.
Blue collar dad is both simultaneously wholesome and also slightly depressing.. I never got that kind of positive 'unsure what to do but trying anyway' reaction from my dad, and I never got a negative one either.. he just refused to talk about it Was okay for a while, nothing much changed between us and even now we still get along okayish - but our contact frequency has dropped to like a once per year phone call Apparently he had said behind my back that he doesn't approve and never will? but I don't even know for sure that's true.. And now my mum, who I AM kinda close with is slowly being dragged down the rabbit hole of qanon/sovereign citizen conspiracy crap and like 90% of the people she follows are openly anti-trans.. some violently so, but she just doesn't see it
Random update for anyone who cares: Got my once yearly phone call from Dad, a half assed short voicemail on my birthday that lasted 30 seconds, didn't say a whole lot, and ended with "I'll call again later" implying he wanted to say more directly rather than in a recording. ...he did not call again later. Honestly at this point I'm kinda glad he didn't as it avoided additional stress. If he wants to genuinely reach out and rebuild I'll happily give him that chance.. but until then I've no more f's to give. As for Mum: She still believes weird comspiracy shit like human meat in mcdonalds, 5G causing cancer, trump will save the world etc - but after a long and difficult conversation I discovered that the vast majority of stuff she says and the people she promotes.. she doesn't actually understand at all. So barely even believes it anyway. When I questioned her smiling selfie with Pauline Hanson posted to facebook (one of the furthest right wing politicians in this country who would see me locked up or dead just for who I am)... it turned out she had no idea about any of her political views at all, didn't agree with any that I mentioned and only got the photo because "omg famous person! I saw her on TV!" Honestly don't know if I should be happy about that revelation or even more concerned 🤷♀
These cults spread on emotional validation. Any attempt at reasoning from them is inherently disingenuous. That's central to understanding them. And these are adults, not small children. Don't make excuses for what they espouse or support. They absolutely know better.
The fake celebrity deaths are actually bringing up trauma for me when I was 7 the babysitter got annoyed at me constantly talking about Steve Irwin and decided the best way to get me to stop was to tell me he died from a snake bite. I spent the next several hours hiding under my desk despite her trying to tell me she was "kidding". Eventually mum came home and managed to convince me that she lied and to come out. Never saw that babysitter again. It had the side effect of me not believing when I was told he'd actually died several years later until mum turned on the news on the radio. I will acknowledge there is a world of difference between telling an adult a celebrity they really like died and telling an autistic kid their hero was an idiot who got them selves killed.
Honestly, regardless of age and neurodivergence status I think "pranks" intended to cause the target distress aren't funny, just crappy and needlessly cruel - and sure, as adults we (mostly, usually) grasp the notion that looking up to/liking a celebrity isn't the same as knowing them personally, but you can still like or full-on admire people and appreciate the things they put out into the world - and consequently be deeply saddened if they are no longer in the world to do those things - even without having met them a single time in your life (not to say that all the "favourite celebs" in the segment are on equal footing in my view, but shockingly enough I still don't endorse needless cruelty even when I disagree with the target's tastes or world views). I love OT and have a hell of a lot of respect for the good work and wholesome messages he normally gets across in his videos, so while it would take a lot more than this to shift my overall worldview of him it's still a little bit disappointing to see his reaction to all of the above just be "oh man, can you imagine being that gullible?". Like, *wow*, a *loved one* who you presumably *trust* came to you with a serious piece of news that they *know* will upset you in a way that a decent person wouldn't joke about, and your first thought *wasn't* to immediately doubt everything they were saying? *Imagine* falling for something like that... /s (P.S. Steve was my childhood hero too, he was an absolutely amazing human and I still think about the ways in which growing up with his shows helped make me into the person I am today.)
I agree with this, especially as an autistic and someone who has had more support from the internet and the community online than my own family. It seems much, but if someone told me that Mark died or someone that supported me when I was being abused for so long, and was always just a click away, I know that what currently is a few threads holding me up since the pandemic would instantly snap. I haven't admitted this to my parents, because they don't honestly give a shit, but at one point I "walked to the library." I actually didn't mean to. I was supposed to die that day. Before the pandemic, I had multiple attempts, I was struggling, but I still had hope, but after it, I had nothing, and I still don't. State assistance is bullshit, I can't get off the ground no matter how hard I try, and I'm stuck watching the world burn around me. So last year, during the summer, after my mom screamed at me when I tried to explain what I was going through, she kicked me out to go on a walk, and instead of just walking around the neighborhood, I walked myself down the street, the main street, past several intersections, until I got to a highway overpass. I wanted to jump, and I knew there wasn't any jump protection there. There were guard rails for the cars, but no fencing. There weren't even sidewalks, so pedestrians weren't expected, people were driving around me. But I couldn't do it. I was scared. I wasn't scared of the fall, or the view from halfway down, because I had seen it before. But I've always been scared of what actually dying feels like. It's why I've never considered a firearm; even with perfect placement, you'll still be awake for about 7 seconds, and that idea horrifies me. It looks violent but instant, but it's not instant at all. So the idea of jumping and hitting the ground, being run over by a car, and all the other things that would happen before I actually died, that was what scared me. I wouldn't regret the decision; I was scared of the pain I'd endure. So I looked over the edge, and I was scared. So I didn't. I just walked to the library across the bridge instead. Never told anyone I was planning to end it that day. And if I had, no one would have been able to stop it. But finding out that someone like Mark died, or that someone who essentially proved to me that I'm not broken died, I'd stop looking for ideals. I'd look for the quickest. Some of the people I met online are the only people who have proven to me that I'm not a "retard" for laughing like a giggly bitch, or that I'm not a "repulsive bitch" for holding my own opinions and voicing them. Losing them would be losing that first proof that I wasn't broken, and that the people around me broke me first. And I know I don't have the strength to take that hit anymore. If someone did this to me, for shits and giggles, they would literally be playing with my life over fake internet points.
@Johanna Schaurer That seriously sucks mate. I know how difficult it can be trying to explain stuff about my autism to neurotypicals who are trying to be supportive, let alone more damaging mental health issues to someone who, from the sounds of it isn't trying at all. Let me join the cast of people on the Internet telling you that we aren't broken, that neurodivergent people surve a unique purpose in society both historically and today ant that its modern society's problem that it doesn't recognise that like it should. That depression doesn't mean weakness and that in the end you will be a stronger, more compassionate person because of your experiences. I don't know where in the world you are or what help is available to you and know better than to try and tell you to just do what helped me. But I want you to know that I genuinely wish you health and happiness and hope you find some support in your life to help you through this difficult time.
@@chaoticneutral6288 I don't agree with putting people on pedestals either; people aren't perfect and you definitely don't know them from far away. But my point was that for a lot of people, these celebrities or role models in whatever fashion provided some sort of support, by showing that who they are is alright or teaching them hobbies or whatever, and by just fucking upending that for shits and giggles, you are literally ripping out, while not the biggest by far, one of the threads that allow people to think life is worth living. And if you do that to the wrong person, the person who is already VERY frayed, that's not going to end well. It's going to end very badly, and somehow it's going to be their fault that they did it, not the person who thought it was a good idea to punch where they knew it would hurt.
There were SO MANY queer signaling tricks people would use when being out or just existing was dangerous. One ear being pierced was common for both if I'm not mistaken, femme lesbians could signal to other femmes with a different shade of nail polish on one nail, you could ask "oh are you a friend of Dorothy?" as a way to ask are you gay, ace folks sometimes where black rings on their fingers as a little covert nod to each other. And that is just a very small amount of examples! It's a very interesting research rabbit hole it you are ever interested!
I actually bought a black ring to wear to let other aces know I'm also on the ace spectrum. I've worn it for three years straight but haven't had anyone comment on it yet...
Had to laugh at an x-ray tech a few weeks ago when he asked if I might be pregnant... I'm a transwoman so unless chest infections are magical (the reason I was getting an x-ray) I can say with an extreme level of confidence that there is no possible way I was pregnant then and now.
Yeah, I had a nurse ask me for when my last period was and I replied "Hysterectomy on [date]" and she replied "I need to know in case you might be pregna....oh" and then gave me an "Oh, you poor thing, that sucks" look. As if I didn't want one or something. 🤦♂️
I really appreciate you not putting kids being kids/cosplay/or any fandom stuff in this! It breaks my heart to see the internet mocking people who just want to have fun. Cringe culture is OVER!
No really cause I was cringe as a kid, didn’t have as much access to internet and then grew out of it, so I’m glad nobody has had a platform to see me how I was and just bully a literal kid doing whatever
Except for the shrimp one, but even then, the mom did the right thing by not filming them directly and it was honestly more wholesome than anything. Hope that mom keeps being awesome :)
Yessss I once watched one of those so called „sjw-cringe compilation“s and like half of them where just plus sized people or young cosplayers/ alternative kids simply experimenting with markup wigs and stuff! Some of that was like really good but it wasn’t something that the person liked. Made me really sad those poor kids.(they had to be 16 or younger)
12:49 I loved it when the mosasaurus from Jurassic world went to another planet, gained the ability to fly, and gained sentience and the ability to talk, to hunt down 3 talking cats, a rabbit, and a human.
It's at least better when it comes to queer men. Even comparing a gay top to a straight man, on average the gay man will be more hygienic. As a trans man, I've had the somewhat unfortunate opportunity to be involved with straight men (pre-transition) and queer men, and let me tell you, I'm so glad straight men are no longer in my dating pool.
I honestly thought that straight men took care of their hygiene because my dad is a very hygienic man. He literally washes the toilet every single time and drowns himself with soap when he cleans his hands. But that video ruined my perspective.
OT being confused about the armadillo reminded me of a Fun Fact! Around the 1930s people sometimes put armadillos in scenes when they wanted a "demonic" vibe, because so few people had ever seen one. Specifically the 1931 Dracula film.
(9:11) As a trans guy, my friend said I was flat as a joke and it was the best i had ever felt in my life (that day a person also called me a young man so it was a good day 😊)
33:47 okay but like, as someone who’s dad is kind of like that, he’s always been *the most* accepting off the bat, person in my family when I came out to him. He was like “okay, give me a minute to understand it all, but I love and support you no matter what” and to this day, he’s still one of my biggest supporters
1:20 I LOVE tiktoks parodying this guy, the whole "what you're eating shouldn't go in your face hole" thing is one of my favourite videos in recent memory!
I heard on a couple occasions someone ask "when you poop in the shower do you kobe it into the toilet or stomp it down the drain?" and I assumed it was just a joke because why would anyone poop in the shower when the toilet is right there, but after seeing the stats I'm less sure and that thought horrifies me.
Why do people not poop before showering???? Like if you know you're going to shower and know you poop around the same time, poop first shower after. That way, you don't have to stop mid-shower (better than pooping in the shower but still like I can't imagine taking a break mid-shower, unless your showers are obscenely long) and you're not pooping post-shower (which isn't as bad if you have a bidet, I just don't like pooping right after showering)
I just realized that at my last x-ray they didn't ask me if I could be pregnant. I'm a trans guy but still have everything that would be necessary. Guess I'll have to tell them to maybe make their tech aware.
Okay but the blue collar dad one made me cry, the past few months have been incredibly hard on me because I came out and my guardians are very unsupportive.
@Jessie Havranek they're adamant that they won't kick me out. The first time we 'talked' about it and how I wanted to medically transition, they said I wasn't allowed to go through with it. I don't want to run the risk of starting and them finding out, so.. gotta wait another year or so unfortunately
There was a "gay ear" it was one of many signals that the gay nightclub scene in the 90s concocted. Eventually people found out about each of these signals and the community had to switch to another one. Because the idea was to signal to other people at the clubs which way they swung, without drawing unwanted attention to themselves and compromising their safety. Of course the same happened to the earring position, and that was done away with Another one was a strange jewelry choice where they would take a c### ring, and put it on a chain, and it looked like an eccentric fashion choice, but to people who knew what the thing they were wearing was, it was a signal. And that one lasted awhile. There was even a Ken Doll that mistakenly referenced this because whoever designed it didn't know what it meant, and it was at the time that some people knew what it meant, so it recalled very quickly. Now it's a rare and highly priced collectible. TLDR: You assumed correctly, it's a relic from a time where a silent signal that you were queer was necessary
Lol, the "one eye blinking" thing is hilarious! I started doing it in college to make dudes leave me alone, and it totally worked. It's great to have some idea of how the they may have reacted to it. 🤣🤣🤣
Love the videos! I actually recently found some validation in one of the non binary videos (having recently come out as non binary) and I also changed my name which my parents had to have some convincing on but they finally have been accepting me! My mom actually yesterday gave me a non binary pin for my backpack and we both cried and it was an amazing feeling. Stay safe everyone! Edit: shooty shoot I gotta change my RUclips name- Edit 2: why won’t it switch over I changed ittttt
Just really discovering your content even though you've been floating on my rec for months. That fact about us not feeling wet haunts me truly. It lives rent free in my head, and every time I wash my hands I think "huh, I can't actually feel this properly". And it's like a mini existential crisis every time.
OMG the girl who scared herself in the mirror nearly killed me. That was beautiful and absolutely something I could see myself doing. I just know I look dumb most of the time so I leave the cameras to the proffessionals. Lol
That thing about feeling wet makes sense be sometimes you'll step on a penny without shoes and ur brain is like "that is a puddle of water on your carpet"
Hey OT! I don't know if you'll see this but I recently got a haircut (I'm a trans guy) and got correctly gendered by a stranger, which was awesome, but your videos made this week so much better. Thanks for being awesome,
I(mtf) took a pole dancing class as part of a girl's night out, it was absolutely amazing, the work out was crazy. I'm strong, +200lb is nothing to me to pick up, and I do 200 squats, and 200 crunches per day, this class kicked my ass. I was the only one out of the three friends who could do spins day 1 but it's a solid holy shit
That's because it's not the same. Pole dancing is a different type of exercise from power lifting or doing squats or crunches. I would even say having more muscle mass would make pole dancing harder to do not easier just because of weight distribution (and flexibility).
This is just a reminder for OT and everyone reading this, You are enough. You make ppl happy and there are many ppl, including me, who are so grateful to exist at the same time at you. Don't overwork yourself, and if your struggling, tell someone. Even if its just family, friends or me. Your amazing
30:45 Honestly, that one I felt. I feel that. That there isn't just being sad their fav celeb died, that's something I know deeply, that's true existential dread. The thought of the fact that something you see as young or of your time passing on hits hard.
Apparently my male cousins were having issues wiping as young guys (like age 10 or so), so my dad told them about his Marine Corps boot camp/survival training toileting scenario and apparently rectified the situation.
@@rolfs2165 TL;DR Is basically about them digging latrines, using their finger to wipe, then using their one allotted piece of toilet paper (if lucky) to clean the finger.
I've thought about contacting my first grade teacher who made me flip my card straight to black (four color system with black being the last one) when a boy snitched on me when I said I didn't like boys. She proceeded to give me a talking to over recess about it. I remember at the time it was mostly I didn't like the boys in my class because they were jerks. But like it was first grade. Kids say shit. Anyone wanna guess what I turned out to be now that I'm 30? I'll give you a hint. It starts with L and ends with N.
20:05 i can do the wink thing. I saw someone years ago having one eye closed (i think it was from an injury) and i was like: hey i wonder if can I do that too? And just closed one eye. I have no idea how it works and it’s only working on the left eye and it’s so weird
In the comments under the video 14:07 (on Instagram) I had a very long argument with someone who was saying that pole dancing wasn't a sport, which opinion I strongly disagree with. It is a very difficult sport and doesn't have a lot to do with the adult entertainment version, as they not always require the same amount of muscle control. Then out of nowhere they were trying to convince me that I live in the USA. I live in Austria, Europe.
Same. It was like learning the sounds foxes make. I've never actually seen one outside the zoo, so I didn't know. Then that song "What Does the Fox Say?" came out, and I wound up looking up their real sounds. Ear-opener, that one.
I'm new here but I already know everything you put out will be wholesome and good. When I'm having a frustrating day I will pick a video from a creator that I know will uplift me or make me laugh. Today this was that video. 💜
Hey OT! Just so you know, prioritize what _you_ need and want! Make the content that _you_ like! Take breaks when you need them! Your happiness and health comes first!❤️
What scares me the most about the fake celebrity death ones, is how invested some of these parents are in celebrities 😳 I haven't cried over a celebrity death since Corey Monteith at age 13 🤷♀️
There is literally a whole ass country losing their minds bc some old ass lady died, so I'd say people being visible upset that their favorite celeb is dead, is pretty darn reasonable
@@prnc96 Comparing a high powered political figure to an actor is not quite correct. The Queen literally appointed a Prime Minister. She had clout, and her replacement has the same level of power.
I don't think it's that strange. These celebrities probably represent an important part of their life, like someone they looked up or made friends through. If you heard your favourite youtuber died, you'd be sad too just like these parents. Also, those celebrities their age supposedly dying reminds them of their own mortality, which is a whole confrontation on its own
i appreciate you reading the text in the tiktoks. That's one of the big reasons I don't frequent tiktoks is I can't read the text and a lot of context is lost at best. 😅 it's hard enough for he to see what's going on in those videos sometimes without having to worry about what the text I can't see is saying. So, yeah, much appreciated! 💙
I know I'm saying this a lot, but I'm new here, so bear with me. When I (25F) came out to my parents two years ago as Asexual/being on the A-spec, they didn't believe me. They still don't. The middle of a pandemic is not a particularly great time to have a self realization moment, and trying to navigate what this meant for me and my identity by myself and going from strong Ally to the A in LGBTQIA was confusing and frustrating at times. Thankfully, I have found plenty of online support (mainly through Tumblr), and to stumble across OT's channel while desperately searching for Asexual content to compare myself to was a blessing. This man is amazing in the way he passionately supports the Queer community (even the identities that receive the most hate within the community like Ace, Trans, and Pan) without hestitation, his comments and giggles in every video he posts never fail to make me laugh. I eagerly await every livestream, I always put them on my sleep playlist so I can replay them as I'm drifting off to bed. I would give OT every dollar I had for him to continue to make such outstanding content that satisfies my soul. I'm so proud of him and what he has accomplished in such a short period of time. Lastly, to everyone here- Merry Christmas, happy holidays. Be safe, be happy. I'm so glad I've found such a wonderful community to be part of and I look forward to participating more in the future
Stay strong, Momma Bird! Your identity is valid! I also just got some pleasant nostalgia from your nickname due to a very nice camp counselor I had who we called Momma Bug! Thanks for unintentionally bringing back good memories!
@rosykindbunny1313 Thank you friend! The nickname actually came from one of the trans guys I used to chat with online and stuck bc I love helping queer teens with their identities and unsupportive living situations.
I understand. I am completely out to my family, and they insist that I will change my mind when I find the 'right one'. I'm aroace. This doesn't apply to all of them, but sometimes I want to slap someone when that is said.
@15tsubasa I hear that. My mom is still hopeful for me getting married and having kids, despite my insistence against it. "You'll chance your mind", she says....
I suffer from second hand embarrassment pretty bad so I was worried about this one but generally I really enjoyed it. Apparently my metric for cringe doesnt line up with others
My all time favorite "celebrity died" prank was pulled on me by a 65 year old lady during my country music phase. (I had one, don't judge me" She came in and gasps, "Willie Nelson just died! He got hit by a truck!" After a beat, she said "He was playing on the road again."
Fun fact: contrary to what one topic said in the video, only snakes who have pit organs can “see heat” I’m sure he wasn’t meaning that all snakes have them, but just something to say in case someone thought wrong
4:11 That is an armadillo! More commonly known as the inspiration for Mighty the Armadillo, a Sonic character first concieved in 1991-2, when they were testing ideas for a side kick for Sonic! He then went on to become his own character, along with Ray the Flying Squirrel. They're better known for their appearances in Sonic Mania.
6:49 This reminds me of my old doggo! He would howl along with the piano every time it was played (he was really bad at howling, so it sounded awful but it was so cute 😭)
17:03 giraffes also have only 6 Vertebrae in their necks like other mammals, meaning they can’t move their necks much. The babies also drop like 2 meters at birth and they fall head first onto the ground
As an italian I totally MELTED over the 4:40 couple 🫠🫠🫠😭😭😭 IT WAS SO CUTE 😭💝 I ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO TEACH BAD WORDS AND GESTURES TO MY PARTNER IF I EVER PULL SOMEONE FROM ANOTHER COUNTRY 😂😂😂
OT, did you know that some guys from my middle school NEVER washed their hands after doing their business? Honestly It's so hard being trans, because you know things from at least three perspectives. It was scarring, when as a child, a pre-teen, who was taught all their life, that good hygiene starts with washing your hands, and you see someone going out of the toilets without washing their hands. I am, and forever will be traumatised by these kinds of experiences. It happened multiple times with multiple people, and many times with the same ones over, and over again.
Yea I work at a gym, and it's disgusting how many people, usually young men and boys, who use the bathroom and just don't wash after. Got so bad one time people could smell the funk on one guy and customers asked me to ask the guy to start cleaning himself. That wasn't a fun day.
@Fe Yea it's nasty. I've made a habit of cycling through every half hour and sanitizing the equipment. Anytime I see people not washing I ask them to wash their hands. I've been yelled at twice for requesting that everyone wash hands after using the bathroom. It's crazy.
Eh. As long as you didn't actively touch the piss or poop with your hands it's not that big of a deal. It's more of a cultural standard than actual hygiene. Washing hands is only really a priority in a pandemic that has rapid transference. Fun fact: You can actually be too clean. Being too clean can weaken your immune system because it barely ever grows. Edit: Some of you didn't seem to understand so I'll clarify. I'm not saying washing your hands doesn't help, I'm saying it's not the end of the world if you don't. There are exceptions but generally speaking forgetting to wash your hands isn't that big of a deal if you're normally otherwise clean.

I have a lesbian friend who, when asked if she is pregnant at the doctor's, despite the impossibility of it, always questions if it is possible because the question was asked. She has taken pregnancy tests before, despite never being with someone who carried that equipment, because it becomes too much of a "what if" and I can't say it wouldn't act a little bit similar in the same situation, although I don't think I'd go so far as to take the test 😆
I'm ace, have never had sex, and am more romantically interested in women anyway, and I *still* am still required to take a pregnancy test when I'm late for my birth control shot refill (which I take because I have severe endometriosis)
About 3 years ago I had my period just stopped. After the 3rd month ticked by without it I had a full ten minute "holy shit, what if I'm pregnant" freak out, cycled through to well if I am then I am...aaaand then remembered I'd not had sex since 2002! lol. Any time I've had to have tests that require them to check about possibility of pregnancy first, I just tell them I've not been sexually active in over a year (I don't specify further because reactions vary between disbelief - because how can anyone possibly go 20 years without sex, right?! - and pity 🙄, etc), and I've never not been believed, no one has ever asked me to actually take a test. Perhaps that is in part due to my age, as I'm now aproaching 50. I do suspect one was done without asking/telling me under the guise of checking for a UTI when I had a very angry gallbladder. I was in so much pain I don't remember what I replied when asked if I could be pregnant, it was the worst pain of my life, even worse than when my appendix almost burst. There was no way they could suspect a UTI from my symptoms (unless they needed to go back to med school), so I'm pretty sure they also did a sneaky pregnancy test on the sample. I wouldn't blame them, because with a slight stretch I _could_ see the symptoms being from an ectopic pregnancy. And my parents were close by even though I was like 40 lol. Sadly, the medical field definitely leans towards disbelieving women and also downplays their symptoms in many ways too; especially with younger women. I believe it does have some roots in misogyny and the historical general & medical attitudes to women. That said, the number of people who said they couldn't be pregnant and then discovered they actually were is not insignificant. So I would guess it's high enough numbers that their skepticism is validated too often & so they feel justified in their belief it's better to run an unnecessary test than risk endangering a previously unknown foetus. We shouldn't have to out ourselves to be taken seriously, especially when that can bring risks of homophobia from staff or anyone else they may accidentally tell (eg discussing it with a parent they assume already knew). And even saying you've "not been sexually active in more than a year" (like I use) isn't guaranteed to be believed because some people just can't fathom that there are people who don't want/have sex. I guess it all depends on your confidence level and your energy for advocating for yourself: some people have all the energy in the world to advocate for a partner or child, but when it comes to themselves they struggle. And then sometimes it may just be easier to take the test than to run risks of discrimination etc. Sure, I could say I'm ace, but then you risk having to spend 15 minutes explaining what that means. However, just saying I'm ace means nothing, because if the medical professional is actually well informed they understand that being ace doesn't necessarily mean you've never had/don't have sex, because some do - I have in the past, albeit 20 years ago & I know other ace people who do - and of course, it doesn't rule out a possible undisclosed assault.
@@Werevampiwolf personally I'd refuse. The Drs are calling you a liar and are making you do a procedure which isn't needed. The disrespect is dangerous as it means they aren't considering what is actually going on
@@jackoh991 While that's probably true, unless you don't have the personal equipment for it in the first place, you should never count out the possibility of pregnancy happening. Not all assaults are done with the victim's awareness/memory, and it's always better to be safe than sorry. Of course, if I were a medic, I wouldn't be forceful about requiring a test unless the procedure I was prepping for was exceptionally dangerous to a pregnant woman, or I was practicing medicine in a backwards jurisdiction where we'd all get a jail sentence if an undiscovered fetus was killed.
@@o-mangaming5042 yes exactly that - unless it's something dangerous if the person says they aren't pregnant (eg a woman saying they don't have sex with men) why force it. From what I've heard from female friends typically it's Drs refusing to believe people not anything else (eg refusing to believe someone when they say no sex before marriage or the Dr not understanding how contraception works. Drs should know how contraception works even if they aren't licenced to prescribe it.

Ot, the tiny creature that you think is fake is actually a fairly young armadillo. We just don't usually hear them vocalize, just like how guinea pigs can scream like car alarms.
I think the one in the video is a screaming hairy armadillo. The little one definitely lives up to its name.
It's sooo cute 🙀
Gods, I used to show rabbits, and oftentimes they had cavy shows at the same time. You could tell when one of them was NOT happy. That is why my mom never allowed me to have one.

Fun fact about the whole humans can't feel wet thing - The hair on your arms/legs and how it moves combined with sudden temperature shifts from evaporative cooling is what helps you feel 'wetness'

For a moment I entertained the possibility that they were being trans inclusive but they also asked my 78-year-old grandma, so no, they will just ask everyone for some reason.

If you're going to force a pregnancy test on a person, then why ask if you're not going to take their word for it one way or the other.
I'm in my 30's and have never did "it".
The only time I ever want to is when my body is ovulating, but I'm not about to go out and find a stranger to satisfy a biological urge.

Molly Moon is so damn cool, honestly. Making surrealist art with a ‘90s FMV theme is super creative, and I’m surprised nobody else has capitalized on that.

Blue collar dad is both simultaneously wholesome and also slightly depressing.. I never got that kind of positive 'unsure what to do but trying anyway' reaction from my dad, and I never got a negative one either.. he just refused to talk about it
Was okay for a while, nothing much changed between us and even now we still get along okayish - but our contact frequency has dropped to like a once per year phone call
Apparently he had said behind my back that he doesn't approve and never will? but I don't even know for sure that's true..
And now my mum, who I AM kinda close with is slowly being dragged down the rabbit hole of qanon/sovereign citizen conspiracy crap and like 90% of the people she follows are openly anti-trans.. some violently so, but she just doesn't see it
Random update for anyone who cares:
Got my once yearly phone call from Dad, a half assed short voicemail on my birthday that lasted 30 seconds, didn't say a whole lot, and ended with "I'll call again later" implying he wanted to say more directly rather than in a recording.
...he did not call again later.
I saw her on TV!"
Honestly don't know if I should be happy about that revelation or even more concerned 🤷♀
(P.S. Steve was my childhood hero too, he was an absolutely amazing human and I still think about the ways in which growing up with his shows helped make me into the person I am today.)
@Launchycat replying to your comment because I don't feel that a simple "thumbs up" convays how much I agree with everything you just said.
All the men I dated I made wash. My husband is very hygienic though, thank god 😭😭
after discovering I'm actually a trans woman and NOT a femboy I feel like I'm more attracted to women
@@ashy113 completely valid!! I’m 100% gay but I went through a bisexual phase when I was 17/18, I swear sexuality can change😂
So other people had the same reaction as OT? Lmaoo

That's a different guy but this parody was awesome. I can't stop rwwatching it. I need to see more
I heard on a couple occasions someone ask "when you poop in the shower do you kobe it into the toilet or stomp it down the drain?" and I assumed it was just a joke because why would anyone poop in the shower when the toilet is right there, but after seeing the stats I'm less sure and that thought horrifies me.
I get out of the shower to poop, then resume the shower, what the hell is wrong with these people?
The concept that apparently there are people who don't get out of the shower just disgusts and terrifies me.
Oh great, ig its a good thing that im not currently eating
@@SilverAceOfSpades I just got before? My showers aren't so long that I have to take a break in the middle...
The woman that tripped twice and scared herself in the mirror .... I NEVER related more to anything else !! This is my life in a nutshell. 😂🤣

I love that OT's reaction seeing an armadillo was to question whether it was a real animal or not
Okay but the blue collar dad one made me cry, the past few months have been incredibly hard on me because I came out and my guardians are very unsupportive.
I hope you're OK. Sending you hugs if you want them.
Are you safe?
@Jessie Havranek they're adamant that they won't kick me out. The first time we 'talked' about it and how I wanted to medically transition, they said I wasn't allowed to go through with it. I don't want to run the risk of starting and them finding out, so.. gotta wait another year or so unfortunately

Yes specifically the screaming armadillo. They live up to their names
I came here to say this.
@@evelynkrull5268so… Screamadillo?! 😆
Sandslash!
I think I saw one of those in the Kanto region, right?
There was a "gay ear" it was one of many signals that the gay nightclub scene in the 90s concocted. Eventually people found out about each of these signals and the community had to switch to another one. Because the idea was to signal to other people at the clubs which way they swung, without drawing unwanted attention to themselves and compromising their safety. Of course the same happened to the earring position, and that was done away with
Another one was a strange jewelry choice where they would take a c### ring, and put it on a chain, and it looked like an eccentric fashion choice, but to people who knew what the thing they were wearing was, it was a signal.

Lol

I'm a trans guy too, and OTs videos never fail to make me smile after a bad day :)
Every time I get sad and need a pick me up. This giggly person can do that. That laugh is infectious
Holy shit I'm transfem and do 120 squats per day and I thought doing 50 was a lot. 200??? Damn girl you going off
That's because it's not the same. Pole dancing is a different type of exercise from power lifting or doing squats or crunches. I would even say having more muscle mass would make pole dancing harder to do not easier just because of weight distribution (and flexibility).
This is just a reminder for OT and everyone reading this,

In the comments under the video 14:07 (on Instagram) I had a very long argument with someone who was saying that pole dancing wasn't a sport, which opinion I strongly disagree with. It is a very difficult sport and doesn't have a lot to do with the adult entertainment version, as they not always require the same amount of muscle control.
Eew I know. It's concerning.

I've seen women not wash their hands too. Of course there is a big difference between mental/physical health hygiene and just being a nasty person.
Yea I work at a gym, and it's disgusting how many people, usually young men and boys, who use the bathroom and just don't wash after. Got so bad one time people could smell the funk on one guy and customers asked me to ask the guy to start cleaning himself. That wasn't a fun day.
@@PoggoMcDawggo and then they touch the gym equipment! yikes. makes me never want to go to a gym again
