Chris great review used triad as a winter ball and Wilson staff model for summer ball last year Think it will be triad for summer this year as well softer feel from the triad and hardly any noticeable difference in performance
I’ve tried so many balls over the years. The price of pro V1s is a joke. It’s also like hitting a pebble. I just keep going back to Wilson. Had speedzone irons too until recently and they were superb. Good value for money when I bought them new too.
I started using Wilson golf balls 4 or 5 years ago, mainly for the price. The customer reviews were very positive. I have not been disappointed. I can try shots I might not have taken before and it doesn't hurt as bad when I lose one.
I play Wilson balls pretty much exclusively. The Zip in the winter and the Staff model in summer. Sounds like I need to try the Triad which is sort of in-between the two. Is it anything like the Q Star Tour that I have used in the past? The Staff model is right up there for distance in the MGS ball tests btw.
I've seen two reviews of this ball. Everyone loves it off the tee and on the greens. Both felt the ball was short with a 7i. You two were short with it as well. Weird.
Would be interesting to compare with Wilson FLI golf balls currently available on Amazon UK for £13.37 per dozen. I like the FLI for price, durability, and performance.
wilson have been great in recent years, I've been using the staff model balls for a while but have also been trying the Cavell balls off amazon. Wonder if these would be a possible test video you guys do, £22.99 a dozen
Used to use their DX3 Urethane balls until they stopped producing them. I now only use Srixon Q stars as someone gave me a load as a present. If I bought balls again, Wilson Staff balls are somethingI would be happy to try?
I have a bunch of 2 ball test packs of the Triads , just threw them in the bag for tomorrow and 10 minutes later I see this video lol , I have heard nothing but good things about the ball from others and you can't beat free good balls !!!
"...ionomer or surLYN? We never get that right...". You never get urethANE right either...the pair of you!!! Nevertheless, as a newbie to your channel, I've got to say I love the content and delivery. Keep up the good work!
Plays exactly like a pro v1 with a noticeably softer feel in the short game. My new gamer ball

Played great every time I tried this ball (2 dozens in 2 years) so I ordered 4 dozens 😅 Used to play srixon q star tour.
Wilson is making a comeback!
I’ve been using the Wilson Profile golf ball you reviewed last year. I have been very happy with performance and price.
Triad really is a great ball

Thing is though if you are a fairly decent player you can do mostly what you want with any ball

The question now is, CEED or Wilson? Which is better, or are they very similar?
