Alright, I'll bite. I have a LAB DF3 with TPT shaft, and the new Allen putter. The allen putter is excellent and better than standard putters in terms of 'twisting.' But the LAB is still king in terms of stability, aiming, and keeping the putter square. They are just different.
I did the lab online fitting and the specs from my fitting vs the off the rack df3 are completely different. On a whim still I bought the df3 off the rack. I love the df3 and I have never putted better. The putter stays completely straight back and through. It’s like target practice. Get the speed and line and it’s automatic.
Since I got me a Mezz Max a year ago I've gotten used to the center shaft remarkably fast. Would be funny to try the Allen with that funny neck bend. Probably just as good as the LAB. Mainstream brand offering zero torque just proves it works. Sam Hahn is the OG.
Have been fitted and have one coming, can’t wait ! I was sceptical before I tried it but after an hour fitting I was sold . Just easier to putt than my spider.
@@leshutchinson5574 enjoy. Only bit of advice which I got from another addict was set up with the shaft in the Center of your stance. I found it just took a bit of time to get distance control. Do you have the loft at 5 or 3 degrees? When ordering on their website, the standard is 5, so I am assuming that's what gets sent out for demos or bought off the rack.
Failed what? You still have to hold a LAB putter and put force into it from the stroke. Putting it into can torque holding device is for demo only and does not equate to one’s putting stroke. They are both good putters.
@@johnbrodnik839 and the LAB putter failed miserably doing the PXG test. There can be more than 1 way to create 0 torque, plus we all have different wants as to how the putter looks.

You should be below 30 on every round. Do the LAB will help you get there, possibly. Great putters hit the POP, point of percussion consistently. So, there are fewer gimmicks on Tour.

I was wrong here. The PXG putter is NOT lie angle balanced, as recently shown on LAB’s channel. They seem to be trying to get as close as they can without infringing on LAB’s patent
I would give the Allan a few weeks before you drop the LAB! If you check out some of the reviews, you’ll see that eventually everybody starts pulling it because of the unnecessary shaft lean and the fact that the putter is not actually torque free and actually torques closed right in transition
Nice putter. But as I see it, it's not something very new. Other brands have been making midshaft putters for years. I will stick with my scotty 6 str, works just as well.
I tried to see why that df3 is hyped so much and man you gotta be down bad to go that route. Thing basically teaches 15+ handicaps how to forward press and when you miss your sweet spot by an inch you might not leave the putt 4 ft short. It's a muckers club

check out LAB's (yes LAB's) video when they placed the Allen putter on LAB's revealer. You will see the Allen putter was still swinging around.

Just got fitted into the Allen this AM. Feel great. PXG does fitting right!
It is not faced balanced
Correct it is toe balanced.

what grip is on that putter? looks nice putter
So other manufacturers are believing in the problems of face rotation!! My LAB 2.1 just works period. So only vanity would stop you using one
And now PXG is targeting that vain market that won't play LAB for looks. I'm surprised the LAB Link doesn't sell more tbh.
Want. Can't have.😄
LAB golf did an analysis using their same swing contraption on the Allen as the LAB golf putters. The Allen failed miserably. It is what it is.

can i get this in armlock?
Chris can you do a proper test with sam puttlab and real world on the putting green versus another mallet putter?
I'm curious what is the cost for getting fit for one of these putters?
$25 at PXG fitter and if you buy that goes towards the putter
Oh, it picks up the ball. Bad back buyers marketing.
The new LAB putter does that as well.
Would be beneficial to pick it up out of the cup, not so much on the ground.
LAB has a patent on lie angle balance, which this uses, just differently named. PXG is just the first company to pay LAB to license the tech
The technology was not developed by L.A.B and they are not the only one who uses it.
