Your content is still so good. One of my faves!
Thanks!
great review! love that you always include the latency measurements:)
Thanks man!
Liked the ms paint explanation😄
Thanks! I had to up my production budget for that!
Awesome review man, going to upgrade to this from the GPX, so hype after this video haha
Thanks! And definitely a worthy upgrade!
Very nice review bro
it is almost impossible to feel any difference going from 1k to 4k polling rate. never mind 4k to 8k. anything above 4k is pretty much 100% placebo if you "feel" any difference. 1k to 4k is probably placebo but in some cases it might give you like a 1% advantage. so you saying you felt a difference in 8k is placebo.
but that mouse is absolutely amazing for it's other features and not at all for it's 8k capability. thank you for the amazing review!
Thanks! I have to correct you a little though: Placebo means that there is no actual measureable difference and you just feel like there is. With polling rates the difference is measureable, so it is not in fact placebo. Some people are just more susceptible to latency like some people don’t even notice any difference going from 144 to 240 Hz. I notice the difference between 1k and 4k in tracking responsiveness, albeit the difference being very small. I have done blind tests and could point out higher polling rates every time. Does it make you a better gamer however? No, definitely not.
people said the same thing about higher refresh rate monitors until they were proven wrong of course. As the technology advances and gets more refined the 8k implementation will also feel better, specially for top level players.
@@jerrorr "I have done blind tests and could point out higher polling rates every time."
were those tests going from 4k to 8k or just 1k to 4k? cus i never said that you can't notice a difference between 1k to 4k i just said to me it's almost impossible (almost). so if u can just notice a difference between 1k and 4k then that proves nothing.
@@TheGreatestSoul1k to 4k and 4k to 8k. 8k is easier to spot on a 540Hz screen.
@@tanjim4487 i mean possibly, it could become noticeable when 8k gets improved/refined - although to me it seems unlikely.
also about the higher refresh rates, *which* refresh rates specifically? cus to me there was always a difference between 60 and 144 of course, and between 144 to 240, and even 240 to 360, and according to some youtubers and some people even 360 to 500 was noticeable - though really really difficult to notice.
i myself never really argued that higher refresh rates aren't noticeable (up to 500hz) however i can see how it is related to the 8k polling rate thing. i guess only time will tell.
Great review as always Jerror. I could never bring myself to use a wired mouse for day to day use no matter how good.
I understand that completely! When you go wireless it’s hard to go wired.
Came for the OP1 8K, stayed for the finger in Paint
I appreciate that you appreciate my artistry 😂
goat mouse im lovin it rn and is easily staying on my desk for a longtime
Pretty cool, but I am wondering if feeling "pretty much" like a wireless mouse is worth it at all over just having a G pro superlight and then having a tiny amount less response that's so little you wont even feel the difference.
I got my op1 this week, and I can honestly say it's godlike. However, my setup still has a very old cpu that I need to upgrade to even use the high polling rates with modern games, lol
It sure is! But even at 1k polling the OP1 8K is better than most 4k polling wireless mice latencywise!
I really want to buy one and try it out but almost like wireless isnt good enough now. 😂
What about ripple control and motion sync delay would love seen those result. Also if you put grip tape that comes with it on the right side only. It does feel more wide.
I dont want to test something that is not worth using :D yea I tried it but don’t like griptape
I don't see myself going back to a wired mice. I see that you have the SP04, when can we expect a review ?
Understandable, wireless feels more ”free” even when the cable of the wired mouse is really unnoticeable. Propably next week!
best mouse for sure
i want that thing in wireless so bad ❤️
Yea this performance, these clicks, wireless = endgame
@@jerrorr btw, i need 6 more energy to reach vt masters in aimlabs😅 i shall presevere💪🏼
which software did you use to test polling stability?
Mousetester
@@jerrorr thanks!
what would be better for performace VGN Dragonfly F1 MOBA or OP1 8K?
Op1 8k by a mile
@@jerrorr ig ill buy the OP1 8k
Hows the skypad?
It’s amazing. Almost everyhting I wanted from a glasspad 👍
WHY I CAN ONLY INSTALL PDF MOUSE DRIVERS?
Huh? What do you mean 😂
@@jerrorr when I go to the endgame Gear site to download the mouse drivers, it downloads the mouse settings page but I can't move anything, only PDF lets me download it
@@VeeDreR iinteresting. I just checked and I was able to download.
@@jerrorr sorry if I reply late, I'll have a problem.. if possible, could you send me the link where you did it?
8k make my pc lag
8k is soo over rated
Yea not every system can run 8k
@@jerrorr even on high end lvl pc, u still lose performance, its soo not worth it
@@VINCE-xo9ixI don’t drop any frames with my 5800X3D. Win11 and some bios tweaking is ofc good to do with higher polling rates.
@@jerrorr show us how, because i do lost some perf and i got 5800x3d with a 3080ti.
