Got this a week ago. Made me put my ULX back in the box. If you’re looking for a decent bungee, I’d recommend the Vaxee oryza. Makes the cable feel almost nonexistent. I use the 8k in wz, apex and aimlabs. Works just fine.
Been a viper ultimate / v2 pro owner, but I do find them a bit on the flat side, on paper this mouse is lower than the vipers. I recently switched to the v3 pro and I find the shape supports my palm very well, so I was wondering how’s the hump placement on this mouse feel? Is it supporting the palm just like the v3 pro despite being shorter?
swapped to it after using the lamzu maya, never looked back ever since, the shape and the feel of the mouse just is amazing, best wired mouse for claw grip users, works well with fingertip too
I don't think anybody's tested it yet, but I have a theory that wireless tracking and wired tracking aren't a 1 to 1 comparison in terms of accuracy and precision. In terms of latency, any differences are negligible, but I firmly believe that using mice in their wired mode always produces more consistent and stable aim.
I never switched to wireless with the dav3 wired as my current main. Compared to 1khz wired mice it did feel notacibly smoother and more responsive aswell. Hearing that there is such a large gap between current top wireless mice and wired 8khz makes me not want to try wireless, I hope they keep making these 8khz wired mice or at least improve the wireless so it's on par.
@@steveshin820 well, unless someone fks up😂 for example the pulse fire haste 2(even the wired at 8k) has higher latency than wireless mice like viper v3 pro at 1k wireless 😂
if you are a palm grip user it is most likely because that is what your mouse is meant for, claw and fingertip are not fully decided by your mouse but palm grip is. there is a good chance you will like claw/fingertip if you havent tried a smaller mouse yet
@@peely.oiledup I hold my mouse exactly like Shroud describes in his video. Back in my day, there was only 1 mouse style and no one knew anything except palm. Claw and fingertip are flavor of the month grips... I just do not understand them at all
@@drewmorg. i am saying that if you have a mouse specifically designed to fill up your hand and be comfortable, no other grip than palm will work. this might by why you dont understand the benefits of claw/fingertip. i would recommend trying out the mouse, you might be surprised
this mouse has been my main for close to a month and its by far the best of like the 12 ive used best mouse reviewer out been watching since 2019 keep grinding bt
My exact thoughts. I used to love the m42, but my unit got qc issues over time and I sticked to the gpx. I got the op1 8k only because It got such good reviews and it has a smaller size, but the shape felt so familiar the moment I picked it up.
Had to watch this review in the store just before buying it. WOW it's light. Great feeling too. This mouse literally just arrived here in the Philippines. Still walking around the mall but excited to try it out.
Why, it's the big question everybody ask now a days when they see a cable. Let me flip the script for a second, why not? I don't understand this cable phobia. In almost every sense, cable is superior versus the wireless implementation. No charging, true and best polling, best response time, ability to keep the weight even lower without having to compromise the integrity or design the shell due to the battery implementation needed for wireless. Still need a wire to charge, having to charge, risk of interference due to wireless frequency bands. Sacrificing all of that for freedom of movement. Well even that I would contest to a certain extent. I use this mouse, End Game Gear show you that with proper design, the paracord being angled up coupled with for example, using a pulsar bungie cable hooked to a second monitor sitting atop the mouse pad as is my setup. I have no cable drag whatsoever plus I have enough slack for the freedom of movement I would have otherwise had with wireless. Oh I forgot, wireless cost more, battery will die over time and many companies put an extra premium price on their receivers if your after 4k,8k polling. As well as giving you options such as 8k which you will pay for but never use because the battery would simply die to fast. End of the day it is all about choice and that is awesome, I just don't understand why there is such a hesitancy all of a sudden now because somebody new moved on the block that frankly is inferior in almost everyway.
I got the WE version of this, I really want the OP1-W to come out... you think it's worth just getting the wired version? Or wait who knows how long...
Amazing mouse the shape is just insane . I got the op1we but I’m so curious about the 8k something I have to experience so when they come back to stock I will try and get one
I really enjoyed the latency aspect of this mouse, but for me the shape just didn't click. Trying to finger tip grip would just make me have to click so far up the M1/M2 buttons that it just got a little annoying. I also installed the lighter switch pack so that it wasn't as much of an issue, but where I wanted to grip the mouse just didn't work for me. I also don't know if I had either sensor issues or I just didn't have a good natural placement of my fingers to line up where the sensor position is at, but I always found myself just ever so slightly over flicking or under flicking constantly. Really love the tech on this mouse though and having an option for top-tier performance technology wise at a 75 dollar price tag is a huge W.
It’s the best mouse hands down. I use it in 4K with motion sync and I can’t go back to any wireless mouse. I bought the hotswap pcbs and swapped in my favourite switches (GM 4.0). Just waiting on them to release corepad soft grips.
If it wasn’t for the EPIC coating on this mouse, I would not be maining it. Personally, I prefer more bulbous mice with a huge hump in the back like the Cooler Master MM712. That mouse is the perfect shape for my hand and natural grip, but I felt slight lag (even when wired) in DayZ when trying to quickly click items into my inventory. Other than that, the mouse felt fine. The OP1 8K performs slightly better and my grip feels like glue once my hands get clammy. 8K polling stutters when playing Fortnite. So I’ve only used 4K polling. 9/10 would recommend 🤙
I still use the intellimouse 1.1a 2024 and i get more frags with that mouse then with my logitech superlight2 damn shit mouse compared to my microsoft that runs on 125hz pollingrate vs 2000 hz
@@emsj86tbh you are too right, to me a mouse makes absolutely no difference in kovaak's scores, but in game I literally cannot play at all with some mice, whilst with others I play at my best level. That's all in comfort.
I will never understand why the RUclips algorithm let you down like this, i love the chill laidback reviews keep it up
Appreciate that bro! Honestly as long as ya'll still watching f the algo lol.

What about the Zowie Camade II is that better than the Vaxee Oryza?
@@Mrpremium9870Basically any bungee is gonna work the same, whichever is cheaper id go with
It hasn’t left my desk, I return my viper v3

Best wired mice in the market
Id say the best mouse on the market 😅 wired has benefits, no charging, stability, best latency 👍 and the mouse itself is just sublime

That being said, the op1 8k is in a league of it's own, and the GX speed mode is absolutely noticeable with your hand/eye/ear coordination
had this mouse since launch, best mouse hands down and ive had 6 new mice releases in the last year
its not called OP18K you allready know its OP1 8K title can mislead
I hope they actually release the short/mini version.
the op1 shape is pretty good for smaller hands just not maybe fingertip if your hands are really small

Wireless will never be good as wired, it's physically impossible.

i palm it and a ec1 the same, can do a variety honestly even a 1-3-1 palm on the edge bc the buttons dont curve all the way it has a ridge
crazy how i had bought two viper minis becuase my first one broke and decided to buy this master piece it has worked for me in such a great way
wow ive bought 2 viper minis but I cant find a similar shape and similar light clicks
@ delux m800 ultra and RAWM SH-01 pro are insane viper v3 mini clones
only difference with 8k you can feel wired is it not draining your battery in 4 hours
And the heavy wire on your desk
