People forget that people are capable of making mistakes or bluffing. Often times, the difference between the good player and the great player is the ability to adapt when the optimal counter you planned for never shows and some weird tech appears instead.
as 0:50 mentioned its a complex game, spreadsheet combo sometime needed to players and/or newcomer to understand the game especially new deck as fast as possible. it is also part of practice to know what each cards can do. once players got invest the game, they will probably try to go deep further about what the deck can push maybe like adding called or triple tactics; or learn another spreadsheets from other players. dont get me wrong, spreadsheet combo is still one kind of knowledge for us and the opp. On the opp's side, they might play more hand traps to play around and against spreadsheets. I really appreciate people who take their time to read and try the spreadsheets because time is money lol the point is with these knowledges how we get can use it for our advantages to win the game. maybe one time with spreadsheets you can force and decking out opp's who throwing mulchumies or there's an alternative end board to not give the opponents more cards.
@PyckledNyk nothing funny about your comment. And all this negativity really gets on my nerve. People talk so much BS about the game that actual good criticism is lacking under the sea of BS comments. People dont even see how much improved the game is. I just cant take it.
Man, its almost like deck lists are made with the author's habits, format knowledge and concessions in mind or something. Wild. This is why I like to build from scratch. Its good to receive insight, but ultimately I'm trying to make sure i'm giving myself room to build in a way thats suitable to my habits and playstyle. I would've never thought to combine Unchained with Burning Abyss or GP PUNK with Shining Sarcophagus if I always listened to what everyone else was saying. Like, i cant pilot a Jesse Kotton deck. I'm literally not him. I have to pilot a deck that plays to my strengths and accounts for my own knowledge, concessions and weaknesses, and therefore, the owness is on me if I want to see results.
yeah, netdecking is lazy brainrot. its better to understand individual engines and staples, then pair together what various engines you think have synergy, or at least fir your personal playstyle.
Jesse takes way to much adderal to be considered a good player. Remember he thought Sam could never win a ycs. I think he is a more of a cheater than a great player. Truly I have never been impressed by his play.
This take is like dumb, if you use a line again and again without varying the way you play of course you will never evolve your abilities with any given deck, but at least using spreadsheets gives you a gateway to the deck without you trying to break your head over what or what not to do. Afterwards the sky is the limit.
Honestly I feel like something that could help is, rather than looking for spreadsheets, create your own through testing because there are times, and I had this a lot with snake eye, where you learn combos that are more optimal than the standard that no one knows, that end up giving you a competitive edge. Also if you are able to make your own (although this takes longer), it shows you have a deeper understanding of the functionality of each deck you play which means you have a higher chance to deviate in situations where spreadsheets can’t always help.
I still haven’t recovered from your haircut
Neither has Stevie
Imagine spending money on a spreadsheet then end up bricking

To get good, just play every day, tutor people on the game for money, and make your entire personality and brand about the game. Easy.
BS. Just play the game and learn about cards and mechanics. Dunno why you are salty.
@Corey91666 dunno why you’re taking a joke seriously
clearly it took more than that to get where jesse is since he doesn't have the time to get off of his chair or cook himself a meal @@Corey91666

Ai is the fastest way to get better and nobody seems to care or realize it yet.
Lmao no. I've seen it recommend cards that search nothing, have zero synergy, or don't even exist
@dragon-id5uj you know it only gets better the more people use it. Most people are sleeping on it.
