I came from Verizon DSL @1.0mbps DL speed on a good day on a land line that had really bad line noise every other month or so. I brought the TMHI Sagemcom gateway home in January (2023) and hooked it up on a shelf next to a south facing upstairs bedroom window. I was in disbelief with over 200mbps DL speeds. After 4 days, my speeds tanked and TM support had me do a power cycle, then a factory reset and all was well. A month or two in, Devices showed a "Gateway Error Code 500" that would not resolve and is still the case. After consulting with TM Support, at first they suggested sending me an Arcadyan, but then we resolved that I'd continue with the Sagemcom as long as the gateway continued to otherwise work properly. I was typically connecting on 5G/n41, 'Good' signal, with 200-400mbps DL speeds. Lately as the trees are leafing out, more and more I'm connecting on 5G/n71, sometimes 'Weak' signal, with slower (150mbps DL), but still acceptable speeds, but may worsen when trees fully leaf out?). I can't get cable unless I spend $23,000 for 1000 feet of aerial cable, and I was told (by a Verizon Tech) that I'd likely never see fiber at my address. Satellite systems are expensive, have low data caps, and throttle to unusable speeds. With TMHI I finally have high speed internet with unlimited data, price locked at $50/mth ($10 less than I paid for DSL). 𝐒𝐨 𝐟𝐚𝐫, 𝐈 𝐚𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐓-𝐌𝐨𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐜𝐨𝐦 𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐰𝐚𝐲!
You could add an external antenna to your gateway and it would probably resolve a lot of your issues regardless of whether or not your trees have leaves. Check out the Nater tater RUclips channel. youtube.com/@NaterTater He has several videos adding an antenna you can get on Amazon to your gateway.
@@helphq So far anyway, there's really no need. I have well over 150mbps DL speeds which is more than enough for our needs. Oh, 200-400 is perhaps more impressive, but the key is to have enough speed to do what you want or need to do. I shake my head when I hear of folks dropping $ on antennas, routers, and/or mesh systems that they really don't need. Maybe I'm old school, but if it ain't broke, why fix it. Maybe I'll feel differently in a month or so when the trees have fully leafed out...time will tell. I've heard some say that the leaves are a killer and others in deep woods say trees make little difference. Just gotta wait 'n see. Gonna have to get really bad to come close to my former 1.0mbps DSL experience!!!
There is one thing I thought about doing is putting my gateway in front of an old dish network satellite dish it may or may not help but with four bars it's probably a waste of time. Also it may block the Wi-Fi signal who knows. 73
This is what I was looking for. However the first gateway was actually rectangular and white with an optional backup battery in addition to a small battery for placement during setup.
The Nokia is a great gateway. Some people have had issues with the Sagemcom, but in my case the Sagemcom has been very close to the Nokia in terms of reliability and it’s performance has been better with speeds. T-Mobile just upgraded the tower by our house and the Sagemcom over all is faster since it has the newer bands. I do still love the Nokia though. I never had any of the overheating issues people complain about.
You forgot to mention which one has the best ventilation because the Nokia one overheats so it has to slow down your internet speed in order to keep itself from causing damage
@@UnchartedSandit did for me when I used the Nokia one. I saw how it slows down after some time it got turned on from heating issues. I upgraded to the sagecolm since then and did not test adding a fan since I did not notice the crazy thermal throttle like Nokia had
Better than spectrum for speed and reliability. The ping on mine goes from 24 on a good day to over 100 on busy weekend. The cell service on my S23 Ultra is actually faster on ultraband, I'm hoping they make a gateway to recieve that signal.
Thank you! this wa exactly the content I was looking for. I have the Arcadyan, and it works acceptably well, but I recently tried streaming video games via Parsec, and got dropped audio and video frames. It looks like "buffer bloat" from the 5G Tmo connection (ping times shoot way up when there is traffic on the line). Which of the others two do best, or have SQM / QoS controls that may help. Thanks.
I live in suburban New Jersey, half an hour from New York City. I get no N41 nor N66 anywhere near me, the modem connects under N71 to a blistering 25 Mbps. Originally when I got the modem it was connecting at 5 mbps or under so it's gradually getting better. Hoping they expand faster service around here. Can't play games online but at least I can still stream movies and TV for now.
What were you doing while testing? I have four rooms streaming separate video, plus multiple computers playing audio/video, downloading uploading graphics, etc. I'm sure I can run simple programs on your tests, but what about maxing it out?
What do you mean by “what we’re you doing while testing?” I used each gateway for a month as my primary source for internet for my entire household. We did everything… gaming, streaming, web browsing..etc.
Appreciate your video, however I just started using Tmobile home internet and I started with the Nokia gateway and we had to unplug our gateway multiple times a day or wait 5 to 10 minutes for the Nokia to reset itself. I googled the issue and there's a boatload of complaints about the Nokia. Now I using a SAG gateway and hoping that the change will resolve the issue.
Weird. Everyone’s experiences are different. I had that very issue with the Arcadyan KVD21. I use the Sagemcom currently without any issues. Hope it works for you.
Have been TMHI since the Nokia was first shipped. I live out in the country and over time I got the Arcadyan and I have had much better performance with that product over the Nokia(s) .... it's more sensitive and you really notice this way out in the boonies. Never had any restart needed issues either with the Arcadyan. ..... your milage will certainly vary...
Off topic feedback: Tne autofocus of your camera keeps adjusting whenever you gesture with your hands, and the frequent blur/refocus is very distracting. Consider locking the focus, since your head is pretty steady throughout a take.
I used all three: Nokia (no issues), Sagem (blocks connection to my employer's Meraki VPN and to Samsung TV Plus), and Arkadyan (blocks Samsung TV plus).
@@timmturner T-Mobile confirmed the issue with both Samsung TV Plus and LG Channels apps. It doesn't block other streaming apps installed in smart TVs.
Considering using TMHI in my RV... I've seen some videos of hacking the Arcadyan for use with external 4x4 MIMO antennas, which make for much better reception and speeds. Do you know if you can use external antennas on the Nokia or Sagemon gateways?
Yeah you can add an external antenna to any of them. Here is a link to NaterTater's channel - he shows how to hook them up and test them. Sagemcom: ruclips.net/video/lA0W1XRU4J8/видео.html AND ruclips.net/video/z-v6PajM4Js/видео.html Nokia: ruclips.net/video/eiO-xqFbVho/видео.html Hope that helps!
I do have the Nokia since they came out I do have fast downloads 700 Mbps go down like 450 in peak time the only issue is used to overheat, and the Wi-Fi was slow I do had over 50 devices on my network I did disable the Wi-Fi and connect a router. And install a fan. And oh man I am so happy with it has been running for months without an issue .
They all have the same antenna omnidirectional antenna reception, but each iteration offers more bands which could make them better if your tower offers those bands. They all run off of 110v U.S Spec AC plug.
Ethernet speeds on all three gateways were slower than Wi-Fi. I ran many tests and honestly can’t explain it. The ping was also higher. It makes no sense.
I use an eero mesh system. The T-Mobile provided gateway itself is both a modem and a router in one. Tmobiles initial 4g gateways had firewall settings you could configure but when they released their 5g gateways they removed these options for two reasons 1) being that they were looking to make this as simplistic as possible so that anyone could set it up and 2) because you’re accessing the internet via a cellular network the firewall resides on the network and T-Mobile is the only one that can configure it. So in theory your everyday person doesn’t need to be able to mess with settings like that because they are already taking care of it in an effort to protect the network as a whole. I haven’t had any issues using the service and I’ve never been hacked or gotten malware.. not that I’m all that important for that to happen anyway 😉. Hope that helps!
@@helphq well explain, brother, thank you so much! From my little research on this matter the addition of cgnat along with what you’re saying, with service side, firewall Ing, in my opinion as much safer than getting a public IP address. And you’re dead honest as far as we are not targets lol
I had it for about 3 months. Using the KVD.. I never once dropped a connection. I setup two networks. One for 2.4 and one for 5G Wireless. I'm locked to an Ultra 5g tower. But the best speeds come come form the 2.4GHz at 800mbs upload and 120 Download. The pings are low. But the latency is still above 350..So don;t try and double NAT it. You will need the Business class E320 5G router with 4 ports to get it way down...
The Nokia model DEFINITELY has reboot issues... I could just be luck of the draw of the unit... But mine reboots and many others have posted problems with frequent reboots... I have found that creating a separate 5g and 2.4g network and putting older devices ( more than 3 years) on the 2.4g network. I seen another youtuber say that older devices' antennas don't seem to play nice. I've found that forcing them to the 2.4 seems to help a lot. When I first received the unit and setup it up, it rebooted 4-5 times in 1 hour, on its own. The rebooting issue is very well documented by other users of the Nokia gateway.
I personally have not tried moving my gateway to another location to see if it would still work so long as there is T-Mobile coverage. That being said if you search RUclips there are several people who seem to use this service while camping or traveling in an RV. So my response would be it should work fine, BUT that doesn’t mean that T-Mobile won’t at some point change their terms of service and crack down on people doing that. For now though it would appear that you could do that if you have 5g service in both places.
Have the arcadyan and havent had to reset it at all and get good speeds and reliability. I'm sure TMobile will come out with another gateway before the year ends. Dont know what that means for the Nokia one.
I have all 3 too. My nokia was the best for so long, but then randomly started dropping and needing a reboot every day. I read that happens with most nokias... at some point they start doing this. Got a good year out of it. Arc is ok, but a little slower. Mine is stable unlike yours. Fast is also my fav, I took the top off and put an internal fan to suck out the heat from the unit since it fit perfectly inside the top. So far so good with it. The others will be on standby :-). I agree with your conclusion.
Nice! I haven’t had any overheating issues with the Sagemcom (yet). I’m currently using a business gateway and doing a bunch of testing on it for a video. Interesting results so far!
@@helphq oh interesting, no overheating with it, I just like to keep it cool because I hope it helps the speed. Especially if you use WiFi. Look forward to the video
Hey, so i have the Nokia version and its been running decently for one part of my house. But my stepson has connection issues with his stuff (example, in one room tv will be streaming and he'll then suffer connection issues on his xbox). We tried buying a wifi booster for his room but it doesnt seem to help. Suggestions?
Is the problem a WiFi issue or a bandwidth issue? How big is the house? Is the modem on the opposite side of the house to your stepson? OR Is the issue if someone is streaming something he can’t play online on his Xbox?
@@helphq two floors, modem is on the top floor cause I figured that would get the best signal from the nearby tower. And kiddo is in the basement. He gets does at least signal and can game, but it's super choppy and slow.
@@helphq oh interesting. I've never used a Mesh system before. If I try hooking up a strong router, that wouldn't help with signal throughout the house?
Well I assume what you are referring too as a “strong router” is just going to be the equivalent of using the T-Mobile provided gateway. A single router can only push the signal so far. A mesh system is a router that has devices that extend the signal throughout your house. So you’d hook the main one up to your T-Mobile gateway and then put the other devices on different floors of your house. They sync together creating a “mesh network” but all it’s doing is giving you a strong WiFi signal throughout your house.
Question? Can I improve my Wi-Fi signal throughout my house it's quite large over 3,500 square feet by adding Orbi™ 960 Series Quad-Band WiFi 6E Mesh System, 10.8Gbps, 10 Gig Port to my T- mobile Nokia 5G21 They say I'm surrounded by 3 towers very nearby less than a few blocks. Also have 9 Wyze V3 Wi-Fi cameras, that come up pretty quick but I love to remove some of that buffering even more, + 3 streaming TVs . Would I benefit by upgrading to Sagemcom FAST 5688W. If so, how do I connect it ?
It depends on the bands you have in your area as to whether or not you’d benefit from upgrading. If you go to the website: www.cellmapper.net You will be able to select your provider and 5G from the drop down on the website. From there it will show you the bands for each tower in your area. If you don’t have the bands that the new gateway can receive the only advantage to upgrading is future proofing should your tower get upgraded. Yes you can expand your Wi-Fi signal/coverage by adding a mesh system to the gateway. I would turn off off the Wi-Fi on the gateway using one of my other videos and then place your mesh system in bridge mode. Lastly I have had very very VERY bad luck with Orbi mesh systems. They literally just don’t work well for the money they cost. I’d look at something else like eero or Tp Link.
Me an my parents have been using T-mobile 5g internet, I have the Nokia for my personal box and my parents have the Arcadyan, they both seem to work alright the only downside is that due to our location we only get like 3Mbps Download & like 1Mbps upload on a good day, if you have any tips or anything to make it better it would be greatly appreciated lol
do you have a video on the right router? i just ordered the newest modem (#3) but need port forwarding so i probably need a router too. can i do this with the new modem? thanks. do you have any ideas for external antennas?
great video! i love the tmobile service but would love to have port forwarding . thinking i will get the third one and just put up with no port forwarding
You can add a router to any of them. I would recommend putting the router in bridge mode though, but if you do this you lose a lot of the functionality of the router. You do this to avoid a double NAT.
Unfortunately no you get whatever they have in stock. If you go to a store that has more than one in stock you could probably get them to let you choose.
Hello. I saw you need to scan a QR-code in order to complete the installation of the router. What happens if later someone at my house scans the code again? Will that disconnect the modem and we need to activate it again? Or it will already set up and it will just give access to the app and the modem's settings? Thanks!
Scanning the QR code is used for initial setup of the gateway. If someone scans the QR code and completes the setup process it will reset the gateway to whatever specifications they input on their setup. If you need to give someone access to the app all you need to do is make sure they are connected to your gateways Wi-Fi and login to the app with your user name and password (if you changed it at setup) otherwise it’s on the back of the gateway (you’ll use the admin information not the Wi-Fi information).
Signed up for 5g home internet couple months ago; Centurylink is rubbish. Took the time to interact with a phone agent for about 1 hour. received the Sag box. Happy with that. Yet wanted to do better. Found nater tater channel, bought the chester box, installed it easily, and doubled the down/up speed. Now, about to install the 4x4 MIMO external antenna.
I bought the Nokia and the Sagemcom second hand from people that had tried T-Mobile home internet and didn’t keep the service. Switching is easy. You just switch the SIM card from your current gateway to the one you want to use. Then power on the gateway. Just like a cell phone.
I got what you called junk but it seems to work well in my area. I get 4 bars whether it's in front of my living room window or on the electric fireplace where my TV is. I haven't tried playing with the Ethernet connections or using my own wi-fi. But the built in Wi-Fi seems to work well. As for speed that's an area I have no clue. I tried a couple of upload and download sites but haven't got what these are capable of bringing. 73
Statistically the Arcadyan KVD21 is the worst gateway they have released to date. Maybe they updated the firmware and finally fixed it. Glad it’s working for you.
G4AR is the newest Arcadyan gateway. It’s the white one with external antenna ports on the back. www.t-mobile.com/support/home-internet/5g-gateway-g4ar
Weird. I’ve never had a problem with mine. Do you think it was overheating? You can buy a fan base the gateway sits on. Not that you should have to do that but it’s better than the constant resetting.
I am getting 160 mbps down and 50 mbps up with Nokia.. I signed up for new service thinking I would get Seg but got Arcadian and in location eventhough signal shoes up stronger (rsrp.. Rsq.. Etc) i get half the speed. Any idea on how to get/order/receive Seg from Tmobile?
The only way to get it directly from T-Mobile is to go into a store and see if they have any in stock. If you’re just placing an online order you get what you get.
@@helphq You find one, it could brick itself although... I've checked many stores near me since I really wasn't a fan of Arcadyan, but no luck at all for all stores within an hour drive!!!

Yeah I know some Nokia units get hot. I’ve never had that problem so I’ve never invested in a fan for it. I think most arcadyan units are junk. They should just recall them and give everyone something else. I hope the Sagemcom works out for you!
Does anyone know if you can lock bands with any of these. I have the nokia one and it's good for the most part but some times it switches to a weaker band.
You connect the third party router to your T-Mobile provided gateway via an Ethernet cord. You’ll need to use the HINT control app to turn off the WiFi on your T-Mobile provided gateway as well. Then you’ll place the mesh system in bridge mode. After that you should be all set. Only one of the routers will connect to the T-Mobile gateway via Ethernet. The others will connect to each other via WiFi.
I have the Arcadyan and I consistently have issues playing Nintendo games online. I'm pretty sure they use peer-to-peer connections. Does anyone have issues playing with the Nokia or the SageM?
@@helphq Every Nintendo game, it doesn’t affect 3rd party games. I’m pretty sure Nintendo games rely on uPnP. I was able to fix it by plugging in a router to my gateway and setting up a VPN. Now I have two wifi networks lol. It’s definitely not ideal.
There are several methods to turn off the Wi-Fi on the Arcadyan. I have a few videos on it but the easiest method is to use the HINT control app on windows or android. When you hook up a third party gateway you incur a double NAT unless you put the third party router in bridge mode. If you do that though you lose the capabilities of the router you hooked up to your T-Mobile gateway. Your internet will still work. It might be slightly delayed with a double NAT but it most effects gaming and if your gaming is working fine then I wouldn’t worry about it.
Crossed back to the dark side. Back to Comcast 1.5 gig. T-Mobile internet was just too slow. $204 includes all taxes and equipment fees. And all their channels in including premium channels. Not a great deal but not horrible.
I average mid to high 400s Mbps with people using the internet. With no one home I get closer to 700Mbps. I considered trying centurylink fiber for 65 a month but I have the 30 dollar a month price lock on T-Mobile and that is just hard to beat. We were paying over a hundred a month to xfinity before switching to T-Mobile. It doesn’t work for everyone though. I hope comcast works out for you.
@@helphq Comast/spectrum/charter are all the same company, they won the award for worst company! You think they changed much having that monopolistic market on cable... No. $200/month for cable is insane IMHO, even 1.5gbps which is pretty nice, I'd say you are paying at least $50 more per month. To some, $50 a month isn't too much and rather just get whatever is easiest and glad to take your money, but then they will get greedy after 12-months and tell you the promotion rate is over and now you must pay them even more....... F them is all I can say about that.
I wish TMobile would offer some more premium gateways. I wouldn't care if I had to pay a few hundred dollars up front for it because tmhi saves me so much money it would pay for itself in a few months.
Look into their business gateways. They have better firmware more like a normal router. I just got one in the mail today that I’ll be testing out and making some videos on.
@@helphq what is the name of their business models and who did you talk to to get it? And is it an actual gateway or a modem. Because I saw online some people got an FX2000 modem which they had to connect external MIMO antennas too which is what I would love to get. I talked to TMobile support the other day about switching to a business account when their next line of gateways comes out because their next business gateway is supposed to have external antenna ports without having to tear it apart.
You have to buy the gateway second hand - Facebook marketplace, eBay, Mercari..etc or find a T-Mobile store that has that model in stock and see if they will let you swap the gateways out. If you explain that you’ve been having issues and support sent you into the store you’ll likely get farther than just asking to trade the gateway out.

Similarly to how it would work on a cell phone. The service will transfer and set itself up when you boot the new gateway with the SIM card in it.
Reliability wise - No question. If you live in an area with newer 5G bands then the Sagemcom is faster. I hope they release a Gen2 Nokia Gateway with updated bands.
I think it depends on your area. Some people are reporting they’re getting near gigabit speeds with 5G home internet. For some though you are right it just simply isn’t there yet.

T-mobile home internet is ABSOLUTE GARBAGE. Have to reboot gateway multiple times per day sometimes. Up to 1 second latencies (that's right, 1 second!!!). Typical speed when it does work 10-20. Customer service horrible. latest experience when called the 1st CSR did not even have explanation when they would return to service. Super said maybe Thursday (call was on Monday). Don't want to compensate for anything in a meaningful manner. Don't want to give hotspot backups through their cell service. They pretty much say you cell customers are priority and you are not and if you don't like it, here is the door. They try to "educate" about their service when start comparing to wired service.... One Saturday called for tech support, wait was up to an hour. And again, when you do get a rep, all they do, they at most tell you to reboot. And then say , "see it works now". And when you tell them to escalate to engineering, they don't get back to you with result. This is not a one time experience. Problems going on for months. The only reason with them - have $25 fixed price and still not worth it at this price. So it does not matter which GW you have
I hear your frustrations. I would’ve cancelled it by now if I were in your shoes. Even at 25 a month I don’t think that’s a good deal for those speeds. You can get 100Mbps down through Xfinity for $29.99 a month on their essentials plan. T-Mobiles service is very much location dependent on whether or not it is great, good or just plain sucks. I can’t speak about the customer service. If I’ve ever had a problem I either use their T-Force via FB Messenger or I go into a corporate store and in either case they’ve always bent over backwards to help me out or give me credits on my bill, but again people are people and it sounds like you got some bad ones that don’t care about their job. Have you looked into ATT air or Verizon’s 5G internet service? They’re usually running deals to get the price close to what T-Mobile was offering folks. My son has the Xfinity essentials plan which is how I know about it. He’s a gamer and couldn’t stand the high ping on T-Mobile. He also does not have a data cap. I’d look into that if I were you.

I never had any of the overheating issues people complain about.
agree 100%...NOKIA IS FOR ME TOO!
You forgot to mention which one has the best ventilation because the Nokia one overheats so it has to slow down your internet speed in order to keep itself from causing damage
They all overheat 😂
@@helphqI wonder if putting a case fan on top would help?
If that’s the only high speed service you can get then that’s a bummer. T-Mobile has been expanding aggressively so hopefully it fixes itself.
I just ordered it, thanks.. mobile hot spot is 40 Gb plus cap
Awesome!
Hey if it works then it works. I can only speak to my personal experience but I’m glad it’s working for you.
Off topic feedback: Tne autofocus of your camera keeps adjusting whenever you gesture with your hands, and the frequent blur/refocus is very distracting. Consider locking the focus, since your head is pretty steady throughout a take.
I actually bought a new camera because of this. Thanks
I used all three: Nokia (no issues), Sagem (blocks connection to my employer's Meraki VPN and to Samsung TV Plus), and Arkadyan (blocks Samsung TV plus).
That’s weird. I’ve never had an issue with a gateway blocking something.
I have the Arcadyan and Samsung TV Plus works, I don't really watch it much but I just tried it and it's working fine.

Sagemcom FAST 5688w or the new Arcadyan G4AR (not in this video) support the most bands.

Awesome!
This is an uncommon review. Which devices run off of 12 volts DC? Which ones are best for distance from cell tower?
They all have the same antenna omnidirectional antenna reception, but each iteration offers more bands which could make them better if your tower offers those bands. They all run off of 110v U.S Spec AC plug.
How did you end up with all three? I have the Arcadyan and would love to swap it out for a different model
I bought them second hand from people who had T-Mobile home internet and cancelled the service.
How were their Ethernet speed compared with Wi-Fi. Heard 3rd has bug to cut 50% speed through the Ethernet port
Ethernet speeds on all three gateways were slower than Wi-Fi. I ran many tests and honestly can’t explain it. The ping was also higher. It makes no sense.
Do you have a router as well with it? How secure is the gateway without any type of router or firewall?
Where might one find this E320 router? Doesn’t seem to be available second hand.
Weird. I have never had that with the Nokia. The KVD 21 is the only unit to give me problems like that so far.
Im looking for a way to have internet at my house and then can take with me to my cabin. Will this work? Or can I make it work?
Good to hear you’re actually having a positive experience with the Arcadyan. I hope they come out with another Nokia model with more bands.
OR
Is the issue if someone is streaming something he can’t play online on his Xbox?
@@helphq two floors, modem is on the top floor cause I figured that would get the best signal from the nearby tower. And kiddo is in the basement. He gets does at least signal and can game, but it's super choppy and slow.
Order a WiFi mesh system. Put the mesh system in bridge mode and turn the WiFi off on your T-Mobile gateway.
Question?
Can I improve my Wi-Fi signal throughout my house it's quite large over 3,500 square feet by adding Orbi™ 960 Series Quad-Band WiFi 6E Mesh System, 10.8Gbps, 10 Gig Port to my T- mobile Nokia 5G21
They say I'm surrounded by 3 towers very nearby less than a few blocks.
If you go to the website: www.cellmapper.net
You will be able to select your provider and 5G from the drop down on the website.
You could try an external antenna. I’m testing a waveform 4x4 MIMO Antenna now. It works really well.

great video! i love the tmobile service but would love to have port forwarding . thinking i will get the third one and just put up with no port forwarding
At this time T-Mobile Home Internet doesn’t support port forwarding. I hope they fix it in the future.
Is there a way to put a router on the newest modem
You can add a router to any of them. I would recommend putting the router in bridge mode though, but if you do this you lose a lot of the functionality of the router. You do this to avoid a double NAT.
So i can tell tmobile which gateway i want?

I bought the Nokia and the Sagemcom second hand from people that had tried T-Mobile home internet and didn’t keep the service. Switching is easy. You just switch the SIM card from your current gateway to the one you want to use. Then power on the gateway. Just like a cell phone.

I tried a couple of upload and download sites but haven't got what these are capable of bringing. 73

Weird. I’ve never had a problem with mine. Do you think it was overheating? You can buy a fan base the gateway sits on. Not that you should have to do that but it’s better than the constant resetting.

How the SagemCon ? Mine Arc just pooped out.
Does anyone know if you can lock bands with any of these. I have the nokia one and it's good for the most part but some times it switches to a weaker band.
If you’re using a T-Mobile provided gateway you can’t band lock. If you buy a third party one then you can, but they’re expensive.
Awesome video, thank you!
My pleasure!
How do I connect a meah router to my tower??

What game? My kids play Nintendo switch online and it works. I’m using the Sagemcom.
Arc is stable for me, I have had mine 7 months and never had to reboot it. Maybe you just got a bad one.
Maybe.. 🤷🏻♂️ lots of people with similar issues though. I’m hoping the Arcadyan G4AR is better.
