In the a6700 there are both bulb timer up to 900 secs and bright monitor to custom key

How can you make a video with incorrect information? Please do your research and understand your equipment better. This video isn't useful for astrophotography at all.
Hmmm. Just came across this video. Both bulb timer and bright monitoring is available on the a6700. Bulb timer is under exposure in the menue and bright monitoring will appear with custom key under exposure shooting display and both feature works perfectly 😊. You should edit your video.

Hey so a quick query, whenever I switch to manual focus mode, the camera automaticaly zooms in as a turn the focus ring. Is there a setting to turn this off ?
Yeah it’s in the AF/MF setting under focus assistant - auto magnifier in MF
You can use your phone to remote shoot the camera
Planing on starting phototgraphy with the a6700 cuz of the hybrid capacities and compactness but also want to dabble in astro. Do you think I should go for the A7III or stick with the idea of getting the a6700?
Astro will be slightly better with the a7iii but for everything else I’d go with the a6700

Apparently there is bright monitor in that camera. You need to look in the manual.
