This is a non-profit, fan-based edit of 'Simian Dawn', composed by Marius Masalar and released in 2012. Check out my channel for other extended music you might like.
Ceaser looks down and sees an empty glass bottle. A hand reaching out to it belonging to the Colonel that murdered his family, now struggling like a fish out of water, so desperate to drink. What once was the patriotic war mongered man is now dying before his rivals eyes. He is so desperate for his pain to end, the pain that caused him to kill his own son. Ceaser picks up a loaded gun and points it at the dying man’s head. For his wife- for his son! The colonel tries and mutter his last words, wanting to be free of this pain. He grabs the gun and points it a his own head, waiting for Ceaser to pull the trigger. Ceaser pants harder and harder and then realises... Ceaser takes his human like hands off the trigger and the colonel snatches it off him, crying tears and spewing blood. Ceaser watches the colonel point the pistol towards his cheek below his eye. He just stands there watching and then *BANG!*
And this is absolutely true: imagine an animal race that is supposed to be the closest to humans in terms of intelligence, - suddenly turning the tables and replacing us..? The past threw the present off the cliff.. literally...
I think that was always the idea behind this theme. While all the other themes emphasized "the dread to humanity" that they were, this one is the absolute opposite. It emphasizes... _the opression of the apes... The suffering they're going through..._ *and the bittersweet, but fiery will to fight for freedom.*
Can we all agree that Dawn of the Planet of the Apes was a great movie?
never seen it
Yes😊
This theme is really catchy and the fine touches of all of the Apes in the background fill the sense of dread for all of those in your hands
Go, my minions! Destroy that Gen-Sys lab! And get away from that drone!

For some reason, this theme allways made me sad. I allways pitied the apes who got killed/tortured.
