today is a diy video on how to powder coat used engine parts. In this video I used a valve cover off my 4.8 ls engine. The method i used was use brake cleaner with a scotch bright pad and scrub, then bake in the oven for 20 mins and repeat. once i let the part cool off a bit I used the powder Vegas lights from Prismatic powders. I must say it turned out better than i thought for a diy powder coat job

Looks real good. Might have to look at a powder coating kit. I have an old kitchen oven that works so that would be good.
A old oven would work awesome indeed
Im not a painter , that looks great !
Nice job Jerry....
Very nice...I'm going to be getting my 3D printer this year, but I want to try and get a powder coating setup this fall or winter...you've inspired me!!!
By the way, the battery ratchets are nice, but I found Milwaukee's to be too short...I like my snapon 3/8 ratchet because of the long neck...I like my Milwaukee 1/4" though...very nice tools to have around
Shouldn't the round bolt grommet holes be plugged off or taped off to allow the seals to seat and seal properly?
Good job bud
Very nice.
How hot can powder coat get?
Watched it on your other channel and they came out sweet looking! Very clean and I’m off to Home Depot for another Milwaukee power tool tomorrow when I get off work. Thanks Jerry! Lol. I swear, I hardly ever start my compressor after I bought the 1/2” Milwaukee M 12 impact driver!!! The thing is tits!
what powder was it
Dishwasher... shhh don't tell
Totally agree!
hello, elle est géniale ta vidéo. J'essaie de me lancer en proposant des vidéos de ski freeride et randonnée, si cela peut t'interesser.
