What about the cylinder heads and can you powder coat them or is the heat to much on the cylinder heads to powder coat?

Yes I did powder coat them. I only did that because I took them to a machine shop afterwards. So they sorted the valve seats for me. They can move out of their place if you heat up the cylinder heads too high temp. 🛠️🤘

The powder I used is Traffic light RAL red 3001

This company sells really good quality powders. Difficult to see on camera but the clear coat does make a difference.

Not to worry about engine deformation when outgas at 300 degres Celsius?
Not at all
Takes more heat to have that issue.
The oven didn’t really reach 300c. Stopped at 260c

Yes, its warped for sure. It just wasnt tested correctly.
My case is just as rough, powder coating as well but leaving some of the old for show n tell :) How did you do all the external bolts, covered the threads? 🤔

This is what not to do to an engine you care about. The reason engines arent powdercoated, it causes warping, and changes metal properties.
