Thanks for giving Wolski's a great shout out. I feel honored that you and Charlie took the time to visit our family's tavern. The cash register has been there as long as I can remember, so at least 50 years!
The place looks amazing
Yalls place looks awesome if I ever make it up that way. I'll definitely have to stop in and check it out
I closed Wolski's more than once, but the last time I closed it was in 1999. The hangover was epic because my job was so terrible. So I called in sick on Wednesday, and started looking for other jobs, and then I went back to grad school in Mpls to finish my PhD. I give that Wolski's hangover a good deal of credit in my professional success.
We visited Florence, Italy in 2016. The first bar we went to had Wolski’s and Lakefront stickers on the walls. Felt like we were home!
You know you’re in a small town bar when there’s a dog roaming around amongst the locals.
When ya up north lol
@@skater247100 Not just up north, Casey was our resident bar dog here in the Ozarks. His owner lived down the street but Casey hung out at the bar when it was open. We all pitched in the money to cover his $1200 Vet bill when he was hit by a car...just the decent thing to do for "one of the regulars". Alas, the bar & Casey are no more.
@@standupbroad6648 oh we have that here in the old black creek here in sconsin aha . Found one of the regulars had cancer and he didn't want to burden anyone, we pooled our cash and donated it to him and his wife. But there's something when you go into where ver your home watering hole. It's family friends neighbors. But anyways no I definitely agree
I've known Bernie all my life, and although I went to college in MT I'm coming back to Wolski's to celebrate my 21st
Tyler wandering around aimlessly in the background is priceless
3:24 They have a bar dog! That place definitely is a small town bar
I frequented Wolskis a lot when I went to UWM. Came up with a RUclips channel idea of touring small town bars in Wolskis...obviously I never did it lol
Yet…
My dad was from Kenosha. I remember a family reunion several years back. I didn't realize a town could have a bar on every street.
2 churches, 4 bars Wisconsin9:20
I love how when Miles is doing the interview with Bernie Charlie is just sitting in the background drinking a beer
The beer was pretty light looking, obviously light beer swill. I dislike the thin weak stuff. I was once told, when you break the seal you can't stop pissing. For me it is usually every beer then a pee break.. I'm a female so it is twice as annoying for us to pee every beer. So the point is hold it as long as you can and drink something higher than 3.2 beer.
@@kellyt5341 Actually you piss out almost everything you drink, so you don't piss more after the first piss. But I never drink under 5.2 either, so I get more buzz per piss as Einstein once said
@@kellyt5341 I personally love the swill "piss beer", I don't care what anyone says. But I don't drink it to get drunk. I drink it strictly for the refreshment factor. Beer takes WAY too much liquid volume to get drunk for me. That's what liquor is for.
I don’t frequent the bar scene, but I remember one small town bar I’d go to every so often in my early 20’s. It was a decent bar, the food wasn’t exactly memorable (I went there to drink and socialize), but it had the best name I’ve ever heard of for a bar. It’s called the Office Tavern. Or, for short, the Office. It’s located in the small community of Delphi, IN
The best part there is that if you tell your wife you’re going to the office, you’re technically not lying
There's a bar called The Office in Milwaukee, if it's still there. One of the few bars I know off the top of my head that caters to 3rd shifters, as they opened at 7am.
There is a office tavern in fort wayne, in as well
I always wanted to open a bar/tavern named That Place.
.
and by "always" I mean the last 5 minutes.
While I was at a military training in Crane, IN, we frequented a bar called the office. It was cold outside, but the whiskey made you warm inside. It was nice. I remember a snowstorm blew in one night, and they had to move the polar bears INSIDE because it was too cold OUTSIDE. The human females still felt the need to wear skirts though. I thought that was funny.
Don't know if it is still there but there was one near UGA called The Library. Great college town name.
Outstanding series! I could watch these every week indefinitely
I remember being there with my mom as a kid, went back 20 years later and the other thing that changed was the pinball machine. Love that spot
My father David raised me in that bar, havent been there in over 20 years. I gotta head back, do they have the mortal kombat machine still lol
Dave certainly cannot deny you, you look very much like him..
Would be cool to see you do a booze tour in Ireland. Lots of small bars in small towns. Great craic
the Huskers are coming to Ireland. Unfortunately, Packers & Charlie are headed to London 😄
Two words! Lindy's hideaway in three lakes Wisconsin! If you can find it, that is truly THE small town bar at its finest!
Please explain shake for shots.... when I was taught the alcohol interfered with me actually learning 🤣
They treat you very well there. The sound of the darts off the plaques definitely draws attention.
Ya'll not closing it out, though...shame.
You guys make some good vids. Same with dude dad. All guys should do more vids. It was awesome. Come to Canada n find some small town bars hahah
We're headed to Iowa next! What bar should we visit?
I dont have one, but I do have a question. Are you guys going to do nebraska?
There is a really cool bar in bemidji Minnesota called becida bar
Jameson's Public House in Waterloo, Iowa. Not exactly a small town, but worth a visit.
Rays time out in Clinton or Jorgies in dewitt
@@jackmccaulley Iowa…
This charlie guys accent really gets me
And I'm just now realizing that he has an accent lol
Check out his channel and comedy tour and podcasts 😁
Love seeing a dog walk across the bar🤘🏻
Man, I wish we had pull tabs in CA!
I have closed Wolskis many times when I lived on the East side of Milwaukee
3:26, any bar that lets in dogs, is my kind of bar.
I love seeing the I closed Wolski’s stickers in random spots. Favorite is on a lift tower halfway peak 7 in Breckinridge, CO.
You should go to the Holler House in Milwaukee!
Now it's time to go to Washington Island to Nelson's Hall.
Growing up as a kid I was a mile from Sam House in Middleton, soon to be a part of Madsion with own post office, and nearer still was the Club Tavern located right near the school I went to.
Jerry's in Oshkosh. Same family since 1911.
I CLOSED THIS BAR DOWN FIVE TIMES LAST WEEK.
Wow! You're quite the party animal.
NO, I'M QUITE THE HEALTH INSPECTOR .
-Shoe comic strip.
I let out an audible YAY! every time I see a new You Betcha video! Thank you sir!
Milwaukee seems like a chill town, Brewers-Red Sox world series
On my bucket list! Too cool!
“Acoustic Scoreboard” 😂😂
I Closed Wolski’s stickers were all over Cairo in 1991 during the Persian Gulf War. We made sure we visited the bar when we got home.
The one bar you need to visit is the Little Brown Jug in Minocqua, WI. I'm sure you get recommendations all the time, but this is one that needs to be on your list.
Is it still open? I used to live near there summer in the 70’s.
@@Red1831B Sure is.
Just be sure that you aren't over 6'5" or your head will hit the ceiling. And bring a dollar to staple to the ceiling to mark your visit.
Used to live in that area of Milwaukee. Good bar, good people
my old school would take us to Pulaski park for recess right next to wolski's every day
TFW you're watching this as a British and you've drank in a pub dating back to 1312 AD. (Sloop Inn, St Ives, Cornwall) 😉.
Kind of awkward you 2 are standing under a sign together that says “cream city”. 😂😂😂. Ya’ll are awesome. Lolol
Most Milwaukeeians have closed this place, got the sticker and went on to close countless others
Sleder's Tavern in Traverse City. Been around 140 years nd you can tell. Still has the original bar and wood floor.
Double Play, Oil City, PA, Hunter's Inn, Guy's Mills, PA. Hunter's Inn has the best wings I've ever eaten!!
There was a I Closed Wolski's sign at the small Italian/Irish bar I went to in Fort Wayne Indiana
I have to say, I lived in Milwaukee for 20 years and have seen those bumper stickers on cars. I made the assumption that it meant The bar closed down, as in gone forever, not that someone closed the bar one evening. Nice to see the bar is still open after all these years, but unfortunately I have since moved away.
You need to take the small town bar on tour and visit small bars across America and Canada.
Gotta get the brass bottle opener! Use mine every day
You guys gotta go to Cropseys in Green Bay. I believe it's the oldest in the city, a true blue collar bar. Great prices, great staff, basically everything you want in a Midwest bar.
My dad had that sticker on is work bench growing up love that place
Come too Gwinn inn bar in Gwinn, mi. That really is a small town bar.
this series is cute love it
Sorry but men don't call things cute.
I used to go there quite a bit. I'm from Milwaukee.
Coolest part was when Charlie made it rain it landed in Mile's shirt pocket
Unreal that Wolski’s is gettin a shoutout rn. Love to see it
The picture of you too, that's all I need. I don't need to watch the video, GOD bless
I had some Wolski's bumper stickers on my door as a kid. :)
Word to the wise, get a coupon for a dollar off pitcher of beer from the church bulletin at Old St. Mary's Catholic Church. No joke! My wife and I cashed in on that and shared the riches with a couple regulars!
These guys always cheer me up.
You need like a saying at the beginning of each show of a small town bar like Guy Fieti's "we're ROLLING OUT!"..
Daaaaangit! Missed Mitch in my hometown! Come back anytime!
Many evenings/nights at Wolski's during my days at Marquette U.
If your ever by Houston, go to Galveston Island and have a beer at the Poopdeck
Nice to see y'all bring your dogs to Happy Hour too.
Gonna say it again. Rogers Bar I’m Watersmeet Michigan. Make sure you snowmobile to it too
Was in Milwaukee with coworkers from there. That’s were we went and got our bumper stickers.
“I served in ‘Nam and it screwed me up so badly I can’t be a productive member of society anymore” “Here we made you a sticker”
That kinda outlook mite just get you killed 1 day! One of those "unproductive" members of society you call our veterans will put you in your place. If you need faster directions just come visit me. Idk if theres life after death but ill arrange your meeting
Love your guys videos keep up ths good work hope all is well
I just got a pull tab from culvers, then I see this video. Thanks for reminding me to check it
If you come to Michigan, go to Crunchy's in East Lansing. Just trust me.
Come to the Packer Inn just south of Milwaukee in SilverLake Wisconsin or UpperCrust pizza in Twin Lakes Wisconsin or what I call it "HillBilly Heaven". Two great bars.
I highly recommend bar hopping in Bedford, Indiana. It is a small town of about 11,000 in southern Indiana about 90 minutes south of Indianapolis. Many of the bars regularly have live music on the weekends from local bands. Gotta try a ham salad sandwich and the pork tenderloin!
First bar I went to in Milwaukee
And next door used to The Five and Ten Tap, any of you who remembers the 70 and 80's
I've seen I closed Wolski's stickers in Afghanistan and Kyrgyzstan back in 2010
Oh yes!!! Been there, done that, got the bumper sticker!!!
1:09 Basically, what he's saying, yoopers is: "Sometimes, in life, you shoot fer da buck, right? Land a 10-pointer, other times you shoot fer da turkey and you land amongst the trees."
Come to palmers in Minneapolis. Been open about as long as this one.
I don't know if you boys are into traveling but there's two bars ya gotta hit in up state New York. "The greatful bear", and " the buffalo brew pub. The greatful bear is just cool. Horseshoel, pool, the works. Buffalo brew pub is where wings started, it's like a mecca. But buffalo people are weird, you'll have to ask for ranch or else you get blue cheese.
Adventure. Danger. Romance.
Come on over to Cy's in Chaska MN! Great blue-collar bar!
Used to live cpl blocks away from that place 🤣
Oh my gosh....went here a lot in my twenties.
O’Malley’s in Woodbury, MN
I seen that bumpersticker in bar in san deigo
Giving me the warm and fuzzies for a New Glarus and some curds.
You guys are awesome

Faithful follower of the church of good times.
Love this awesome content! I could even see you both doing this like a Barstool Pizza Review type thing.
Dots tavern in Belleville WI.
S'cute! Can brother-in-laws really be this close? Only in the midwest.

You can't drink all day unless you start in the morning.
