Well researched and documented yet still very one sided from a Britt's point of view. So many points I wish to touch on but I'd settle on a few. It's funny that Perez is labelled "Greed and Power Hungry" but when you compare how he has achieved his club's success to that of the premier league clubs with so many charges against them is a laugh within itself. "Europe uniting against Perez to abolish the super league" yet UEFA stole his idea to do the exact same thing in the reformat of the Champions league. So instead of the CLUBS getting that revenue as they should cause they pay most of the expenses, UEFA now get its and would kick back far less than what the clubs would have earned. Yes yes as I said well documented but very very one sided.
🚨‼️ UPDATE : The European Court of Justice has just ruled in favor of the Super League also stating that FIFA and UEFA does not have exclusive control over football.
🚨‼️ANNOUNCEMENT : The Super League would be FREE to stream to all fans across the world. LOL I guess this is another evil tactic from Perez huh 🤔

bro i support RM and perez is a ruthless leader that we need in RM,given the huge cash influx in premier league clubs from outside.
but this format that perez put forward is an american sport model designed to bring in cash from american investors while sacrificing many things we hold dear in our sport.american sports are a joke .
UEFA and FIFA are corrupt but i don't get how a competition created and guided by select few clubs will not be biased.
I want him to completely change the initial idea he put forward, the format needs to be open, unbiased, equal opportunity ,equal pay compliant for it to get supported by fans.
"free to stream" is just a marketing gimmick to get a foot in the door bro. this is an overused trick i have seen a billion times. make something free- develop a user base-jack the prices up

And by that, I mean I absolutely guarantee City Group and the Glazers and all EPL club owners will immediately try to take over the Super League 😂 Perez and Madrid’s leadership are too savvy to let it happen, this is their deal and I know they’ll set the whole system up to benefit Real and Barca, the English clubs will have to deal with it after decades using their puppets over at FIFA and UEFA, I have no interest in their tears.

Perez will always be the scapegoat. Sure he has his flaws like any person. He is undoubtedly a business man who cares about the finances of the team above all else. That clearly can become a problem because then footballing, scouting, and signings are second to finances. He’s the only person to keep his club in the black during the pandemic and that is no coincidence. He also has the habit of buying players without consulting the coaches and having players be undisputed starters for no real reason. But personally I prefer Perez who gives us financial stability , we don’t need to activate levers or anything , and are still able to compete for silverware.

  • @adrianestevezgonzalez4399
    @adrianestevezgonzalez4399 11 месяцев назад +14

The video is of great quality, although the british bias towards Pérez is a bit obvious and the research is partial. To call Pérez 'power-hungry' is contradicting considering he stepped down from politics and the presidency when he could have stayed there. The more demanding requirements he set for 'socios' to be president guarantee that the following RM presidents have a lasting connection with the club and enough reliable wealth to invest in the club. In relation to the recalification of the training grounds, the image that is being crafted of him as someone who operates in the shadows to pull sketchy deals is unfair. The recalification project was supported by all political parties in the town council, the major syndicates, and most neighbours associations, as well as being declared legal by the European Commission in an investigation. The superleague project might have its critics, but only time will tell if he was right or not as the concept of the UCL was also pioneering and controversial back in the 1950's. What is true, is that UEFA have copied Pérez's format proposals, which gives credit to his foresight in a market in which the UCL is loosing its entertainment. I think that, in comparison to what some premier league owners and state-backed clubs are doing to ensure success, Pérez is doing so in a more effective, transparent and honest way. Pérez is not a villain, he is just exposed to that much criticism for being the president and leader of the most succesful sporting club in history. Again, love your videos, great job!, just voicing my opinion.

First and foremost I would like to say I'm not hating, nor am I coming with a hostile attitude towards you. You have a clear talent when it comes to telling stories, however, you need to learn how to take your bias out of the picture. I can tell you're still very young (maybe not past your early 20s) by the way you prepared your arguments. You kind of remind me of a younger me.
My problem with your story (and I am taking MY BIAS out of the equation - as a life long Real Madrid fan) is YOUR clear bias. I can tell you are among the category of people who (by your standards) wish he would burn in hell. You see, that's not even my ACTUAL issue, as everyone is entitled to like or dislike anyone they want - but it's your "arguments" that come across as childish, in the sense that you assume many, many, MAAAANY things.
You haven't been friends with the man, so how on Earth do you know what's he like? Sure, you've done your research, but that's nothing compared to what you're stating: Florentino is a POWER HUNGRY INDIVIDUAL! We can assume he is, from some of his actions, but we have no certainty that's truly the case, so your wording when saying that in the video could have been better.
The main idea of the video is to tell "the truth" about Florentino Perez, but it's all based on assumptions (besides the obvious facts). You can't divide people's opinion like that. What your video is saying is this: you either love him or you hate him - well who decided that? 🤣. You can like some of his doings, while not agreeing to others, that's also a possibility. You don't need to HATE the guy if you don't necessarily agree with ALL his decisions, and the same goes the other way around: if you like MOST of his actions, that doesn't mean he's a GOD to you. There are ALWAYS several shades of grey to any black/white story.
Furthermore, there are some ideas in your story which are simply hilarious and show your UK native bias towards the football situation of 2023. You're saying Florentino is "GELOUS" on the clubs which have unlimited money 🤯. That's SO WRONG, on so many different levels. You see, football is all about tradition and communities. How can you believe it's FAIR for clubs to get rich investors who pump UNLIMITED MONEY into them?! You see nothing wrong with that? Let me give you another example: the WINNER of the Champions League, earns LESS money than a RELEGATED Premier League team. Don't you see a problem with that?
Real Madrid has earned it ALL on the pitch (and you make it seem through your story that's not even important, but it's THE MOST important thing in football). Real Madrid is a self-supporting club, and only success can guarantee its wellbeing, and so are the majority of other clubs. You do well on the sporting side, you will do even better on the financial side. Where's fairness when a Saudi prince decides he wants to buy a certain club (with no particular criteria) and then that club gets to spend BILLIONS UPON BILLIONS in order to compete with the GREATS that have established themselves in the sport through winning countless trophies in a century of the game??? Florentino doesn't feel GELOUSY, he's ANGERED with football's governing bodies, which allow these things to happen, even though there are clear Financial Fair Play rules in place!
I'm not saying the original idea of the Super League was his best work, but it was a result of the MASSIVE CORRUPTION in the governing bodies of football (FIFA and UEFA). How do you not have a problem with a country like Qatar organizing a World Cup after LITERALLY BUYING the votes to win?! In the newly proposed format (as of yesterday) I believe they addressed the majority of issues which fans had with the idea in the first place. FIFA and UEFA are hoarding 80% of all revenues gathered by the competitions they organize, while the clubs (the MAIN actors) get 20%. The Super League in its current format, promises THREE TIMES more revenue to the small clubs (3rd tier of their league), so I believe that could be GREAT for everyone.
Getting back to Florentino: I agree with you on some aspects, he does have the mantra of a dictator, however, you can't neglect the fact that's he's an overall BRILLIANT guy (in his area of expertise). Throughout history, the most successful individuals have had a totalitarian behavior, just because they couldn't find their mentality among the crowds - that's also something you need to learn about, because it is not as straightforward as you might believe it is right now.
So, in conclusion: you are a great story teller, and I wish you all the best with your RUclips channel, however, you must learn how to tell a story with as little bias as possible, otherwise, you will always be addressing yourself to only the people who share YOUR opinion - and in terms of RUclips success that means you'll tie yourself to a niche. And not even tying it to your success as a content creator: when only addressing to them "yay-sayers" you fail to develop as an individual and end up battling everyone around you just because you're too in love with your own ideas.

probably one of the best informed docs I’ve seen from an English speaker on RUclips.
    A couple of things though:
-the Spanish media hates Perez. He also keeps a deadbolt on any sort of newsworthy info (as can be confirmed by The athletic). Also, look into RMTV vs. the press, who owns media pro (VAR’s image suppliers), Relaño (from AS)
-Any sort of presidency requisite amendments must be voted on by the socios. Dictatorial may not be best term.
-might be worth looking into the new ruling on the super league. Also might be worth comparing parallels between Superliga/UEFA and Euroleague/FIBA.
Fantastic edits, great context that’s accessible to newcomers, love the credits and citations on images.

Using misleading ideas to attract attention, making videos is easier than running a club. Look at the value created by the Premier League, and then look at the value created by La Liga and Serie A, and time will tell who is right. Fans think that football belongs to the fans, but the fact is that football now belongs to oil, and the club cannot survive without injecting money from the fans alone, and only by constantly gaining attention to gain new fans and competing with other sports for spectators can they have the opportunity to compete with oil capital. If even giants like Juventus, Milan and Inter can't survive, then there is no other way for small teams to survive but to inject money, but the football that receives the injection belongs to the oil, not the fans!

Some lies in your video. You said that the sale of the land was illegal, but in 2016 the European Justice confirmed that the sale was completely legal and annulled the fine. You can find many press releases about this.😉

It’s funny how the PREMIERE didn’t want the super league yet they have SUPER clubs They inflated the market and since none of them is owned by the fans it’s easier to buy players now look at them all on their knees to city and they’ve cheated 115 times 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡

I think the Super league is just his way to finally cement himself not as the greatest president of any club but as the man who changed football. And it really does look like it's going to happen.

You was unbiased in all the documentary which is excellent, but last minutes you switched being biased and emotional without discussing the ESL subject with an objective analysis, which is understandable since it seems you're an idealistic football fan. Sadly football now a days, fundamentally if we can define its being and its existential reality, it is a "BUSINESS". While you can suggest that Florentino could be an evil, the fact is that he's the one and only man with two big ones, that have faced the true monopolists that own the brains and money of the fans : 1 - "FIFA (and affiliates)" - should be noted that Fifa is now also a political arm.. in the hand of politics and money - and "Media and Marketing 2 - ( TV, broadcast, etc... )" that takes the cute fans as hostages sucking their money for every single game (billions and billions). Things are also shifting more ugly and stupid when we see intermediate or mediocre teams pumping shady petrol and gaz money from countries that are far away from the cute fans that are against ESL.. all those countries are the darkest version of what democracy can not be, but cute fans only are against ESL. You said Florentino Perez does not seem to consider critique, but truth is, that he deeply knows that sometimes critique is born from ignorance, the lack of understanding and the naif nature of the Lambda fan that wakes up at 10 oclock, reats, shits around and sleep, this fan that only believes on the TV owners and the feed he reads every day. You also should have added... that the "controversial" ESL creation... was approved by LAW, and by European democratic courts : FLORENTINO PEREZ FU**ED ALL THE OPPOSITORS AT COURT. And project is continuing now, slowly and steadily. You do not seem to understand complexe matters now... but call me an idiot if you want : "people will see ESL as a fact... maybe now, or in ten years, with Florentino, or without". because well : It's BUSINESS and it's FREEDOM, and now you only have business, with no freedom. USA is a step behind on the real freedom in comparison to Europe in those aspects... and because of this but not only... Europe is always making queue following what USA teachs them.

Sorry, I see you got some facts right, but your video is full of untruths, false assumptions and bs. Don’t know where exactly did you get all this, but I can imagine.
As a lifelong “socio” myself, and having “media affairs” since early 90s as one of my interests, I can tell you most of your video is taken from propaganda. Anyway, can’t expect much, YT is the place for misinformation.

Perez is one of the key men who changed football from a working class sport to a sport for the rich. The superleague would have exaggerated that change. The huge amount of money involved in football is corrupting it. And Perez is one of the most corrupt.

Such an uninformed view. Florentino is one of the only people in football that see the unfairness of distribution of money within leagues AND organizations leeching off of football clubs (FIFA, LA LIGA, etc)
Specifically in Spain, Real and Barca don’t get their share of the money they bring in. Instead all the teams get an equal amount. (Keep in mind no on watches Cadiz vs Villarreal)
He sees how state owned clubs have a huge advantage over other clubs. They have unlimited money and that’s something that Madrid, Barca, Bayern, etc can’t compete with.
Having a super league would put money into the clubs who bring in the money. (All the big clubs from England, Juventus, Athletics, etc)
With the super league these clubs would stand a chance financially against these state clubs.
If you haven’t Heard, UEFA champions league want to add more teams, which means more games. The completions are making these athletes play horrendous calendars. I’m the end the club is the one who has to figure how to function with injured and fatigued players. The competitions themselves just get money without actually doing anything . (They don’t pay the players they don’t pay the coaches) having the super league would have allowed for more entertaining games that people want to see while also giving the clubs that are using all of their resources (players, coaches, staff, transport, etc) the money that they rightful are entitled to.
