I've been making labels on plain paper then taping them on with clear shipping tape. Love the idea of the Avery labels. Makes them uniform in size and easy to use. You're right, if there is a place for something and it lives there it will be there when you need it, so, put it back when you are done with it. I also like the storage of bits and pieces catigorized by use and distance from your work area. For instance AR parts at the end of the bench near thevise and primers near the middlehigh up. Great job, thanks for the tour.
Wow that's nice I really got to get my shit together and make some storage space on the wall, I have 2 Lee reloading presses 1 load master and 1 pro 1000 both for 223 and 1 omega 800 single press for 308 .and I am about to get another press for 12 gauge, I just love reloading
When people ask about reloading costs I always mention the bench, lighting and storage as part of the costs. This room has an investment in those three things, that about equals a very nice rifle.
Looks good being organized will make it easier to find stuff that's for sure, and the blue color is extra nice..I flew through Muskegon a couple of weeks ago on my way up to the dunes and I was going to give you a shout but the wife was on a mission.. and said we had to get there,,lol maybe next time
Very well organized. A local friend leg me try his Dillon 550 to load some 9mm for my revolver. I want to build a bench for a room in the house. I'm excited to get into the reloading game. I was getting frustrated with factory ammo bullet creep in my 929. Thanks for some great ideas for a bench.
@@live4wild968 Thanks again for sharing your ideas. Making plans now as far as bench height and size. I'm thinking of a way to make the press removable from the bench...yet solid.
@@live4wild968 I know my toolbox height is about 42 inches and standing is a good height. I suppose it depends if I use a strong mount or not...I'm thinking not, and just mounting direct to benchtop. Do you stand to reload or sit?
Great set up,you can't be too organized, in reloading especially you can destroy your life at the worst,or destroy a firearm, miss your 8 pointer in your sights,so in my opinion when you reload you need discipline, organization, and good tools, components and gray matter.Love your set up,
Very nice...I would recommend that you look at the plate system from Inline Fabrication..... they are rock solid and quick & easy press change and totally changes up your bench!
Very nice set up and nice tour as it is a great feeling when you set up your own shop and especially when it is done on a very low budget...Outstanding job...Good stuff....
Damn that looks awesome! I need to spend some time getting mine organized again, there is shit everywhere now. I love all those presses, especially the blue ones!
Fantastic set up brother, I love my Dillon. I also use TiteGroup and it works very well for me. I'm happy that the reloading supplies are finally coming down. Have a great weekend.
Very thought out set up. Amazing organization. I just want to load .40 and maybe 9mm pistol....it just looks like a lot of investment to start at square one. Thanks for sharing.
Awesome setup, I’ve been holding on on building a new bench for months now, even though I already had the supplies, trying to decide how I wanna make it. If you burn that old powder and you need a new home for the old can, you can let me know and I’d take care of the for ya. I use old powder cans for bench decorations
Great job. I'm just getting started. I really like the aluminum cover sheet. Clean. Are your uppers attached to the wall. I'm in California and need to protect against shakers. Also curious if the lack of knee space under or the minimal top overhang has caused any discomfort when actually loading. Just curious. Great tip on storage too. Thx.
All that does is create a bomb. For 50 lbs or more, fire code requires a wood container or cabinet, one inch nominal thickness, without a latch on the door. If the powder ignites, you want it to burn, not deflagrate. John doesn't appear to have enough powder on hand to require that type of cabinet. Local fire codes vary. Since he's making this public in a video, I'm assuming he knows the code and is complying.
Great Job Capt
thanks for the ideas.
you are welcome
Awesome set up
Thanks alot. Hope i can keep it clean
Wow that cool as hell brother nicely done
Thanks my friend. Had fun building it
very neat bro
Thanks buddy.

Nice set up.
Thanks Pard.
I love all of the shelves. I wish I was that organized.
Thanks brother.
Love the tour of the reloading bench and love how well organized you have everything. Makes me want to finally buy a 550 and get reloading.
What’s that got to do with being organized?

I will check on them. Thanks brother.

Thanks brother. Sweet loader
I am so jealous of your set up. Nice man
I really want to try Alliant Sport Pistol... supposed to be a very affordable substitute for n320 and was formulated with coated lead in mind
Thanks my friend.
sweet setup brother really nice job and definitely organized for true clean safe reloading
Thanks my friend. It is getting put to work now.
😁👍
Looks great brother! I need to organize my reloading room.
thanks brother. I have tools and will travel.

Yup, I'm inspired. Great channel!
Thanks
That's amazing John, but I think I need you to make me about 1,000 samples to try out in 9mm to start with.
Thanks brother. It will be done tomorrow. :)
Very nice setup. Go Blue & Green! lol
Thanks Buddy, Hope you are doing well.
The shelves sit on your bench but are they attached to the wall? French cleat? Beautiful set up!!
Yes i attached it to the wall also.
Great vid, my room is a mess but I drooled all over my self.........thanks for sharing......ray
Thanks for stopping by and watching.

The Aluminum sheet makes it easy to clean off. I have my shelves mounted to the wall. Knee room doesn't seem to be an issue.
Reloading central! Nice set up my friend.
Thanks brother
Great set up! Just started reorganizing my bench so you have given some sweet ideas. Thanks sir.
You are welcome, Thanks
looks great, i agree i been doing the same with my gun room.........too many acc,s. lol
Organization is the key. thanks my friend
How the hell is everything so clean ? You got that girl from Dilon's calendar jumping out to clean , like POp's ?
LOL she can clean my bench anytime.
That’s an amazing setup sir!
Thanks
Well John, it looks like you know what you're doing. :) Nice organized reloading setup.
-Jen
Thanks Jen. I have been reloading for over 30 yrs
My suggestion would be lower the powder to the floor and and put it in a closed metal cabinet, for fire reasons. Where are your primers?
All that does is create a bomb. For 50 lbs or more, fire code requires a wood container or cabinet, one inch nominal thickness, without a latch on the door. If the powder ignites, you want it to burn, not deflagrate. John doesn't appear to have enough powder on hand to require that type of cabinet. Local fire codes vary. "Some older powder, maybe I'll throw that in the fire."
Me in '21 during the ammo shortage: NOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Killer set up man, really like the shelving you setup, great work man... now come to my place and do it again :-P . cheers brother
As long as you feed me. LOL
Thanks for the visit in your work area friend. Nice set up you have there.
Thanks Kaz
You said you have it set up in the garage, do you have the temp/hum controlled?
Kinda sorta. Well insulated and I keep temp below 75 degrees. I hope to be in the basement by fall.
Nice set up, but tell me, who gets the stuff off of the upper shelves, cause you aren't that tall. I would hate for you to fall...LOL.
Thanks SB, DUDE lol
