Really honest test. Maybe u can test the typical Instagram shot. Where the drone is not moving but follows in the rotation while u riding past the drone.
@@ptsforlife the follow mode is kinda useless for my home trails or for fast downhill. The max follow speed is around 30kph. So this would be the only use case :)
Been watching so many videos of the Neo and the new Hover drone and I'm realizing the Neo is too slow. Would be cool to have a wrist band or something the drone can follow rather than some pixels it thinks is you.
You seem to have had a lot more issues than other mountain bikers with this. Maybe the dark top makes it harder for it to track you? Also, when starting it off in follow mode pointing in the wrong direction, you need to pass it further away or more slowly for it to track and turn around. If you try again, put a bright top on and let us know how it goes. 👍🏻 I should be able to get out next week for my first ride with my Neo.
@@ptsforlifeI have a similar dark Troy Lee top, but I’ve been wanting a new brighter one (I’m getting bored of grey and black) - I have an excuse to buy one now.
It depends on what I am doing, but in real world it will fly for about 10 minutes per battery. I have 3 batteries which has been more than enough for my rides.

Thanks! That is in my next video.🙂

Any drone does that.... the big deal with the NEO is the following mode
The elevation gain when you drop is fascinating. I would have predicted the problem would be it dropping with you but too soon to clear the feature.

I agree it's too slow for full on mtb trails but good for features. Hopefully updates help. It's great for other sports though.
@@ptsforlife Great point. A short section of trail I could see this working.

Yes I am sure a brighter top would help, however I wanted to try it as I ride. I will be doing more experiments.
Enjoy your ride.

@@TrailBikeMike Haha...I might have a new TLD jersey arriving today or 3....
Paddle board (kayak)…or too risky (does it float)?
Too risky for me. As a student I can't afford to keep buying drones. Lol
I love this. How long can you go b4 it conks? Oh, So carry many batteries with you.
Cool tree chair with awesome views.

Is there any on line discussion group(s) that could help you with these issues with it?
I am sure there are but I am not part of any. :)
