There is also one more Cop saving Kyle inside the school the kid with the ankle wound, funny how Nikolas got away with the cop hot on his trail.
And somehow Hogg and Gonzalez are considered survivors and the face of a movement. This kid put his life to protect as many classmates from being killed.

He was in the Jr ROTC. I would guess being ex military that at least 90 % of our uniformed would of went directly to protect mood. Once you sign that dotted line to sacrifice yourself for others it leaves a mark. Not including liberal police forces of course.
I think you are confusing Anthony with someone else. He was not in the JROTC.

Oh Yeah, Sue Both! And if they win the taxpayers have to foot the bill! Sue the individuals, school superintendent, the sheriff, the deputies, they are the ones that dropped the ball.
When you sue an individual your less likely to see any money unless the judge garnishes their wages and holds all tax returns until debt is paid. But when you sue an entity like the sheriff's Dept or school district then your more likely to see your money quicker because they all have insurance and funds set aside for such instances.
Ben Aschenbrener No, the school had a big part of it. In order to get Obama money they had to show improvement in the school in dealing with troubled teens. The school would have to have programs to help troubled teens. Instead the school made a deal with the police to not arrest teens with minor infractions. The police didn't arrest teens. The numbers went down and the school received money. That is why the police didn't do anything about Nikolas Cruz. Oh they probably had a talk with him but that's about all.

If Anthony was a U.S. soldier, he would be decorated for gallantry and intrepidity. If he was a Boy Scout, he would be decorated with the Honor Medal with Crossed Palms. He is The Iron Man.

I think immagrants and refugee are real soldiers becuase they sacfrice and work hard than people who born in america do. He was from central america and he was a refugee knowing he did his best protecting his family from robbers and natrual disasters.. and protect those kids cause they are preicous to them . A wonderful human being. There were lots of people that didn't survive, some of them heros in there own ways. And I'm so happy that he got to live to see the results of his heroics. See his classmates he helped save live their lives and I know this was forever ago but I hope this young man is doing well.

This entire situation is devastating, but this makes me cry tears of pride at the same time considering the fact that like me, he's a Venezuelan person. Our country is already in a horrible situation, imagine going somewhere else thinking that you've escaped any of the risky situations that are going on in Venezuela to have this happen to you at school. The last place that you would expect this to happen. May God bless him, he inspires me to be a better Venezuelan and a better human being.

Sally Shaded. Great observation. A lot of “facts” are not adding up. I do believe what this young man did was above and beyond selfless and he is a hero in my book. However, was he shot with an AR15? Did they say that? What type of bullets were extracted from his body? The students (multiple) interviewed on Feb 14th right after the incident and before “suspect” was caught, said there were 3 shooters. I believe those students and I hope no harm has come to them for speaking the truth when this story is otherwise fueled with lies and alt. motives. Kids like Hogg are puppets and should be outed for the paid actors they really are. All of these kids are victims in a very sick political game that need to end.

To think he is originally from Venezuela-- a country going through such intense turmoil. And he jumps in front of his classmates to shield them from a spray of bullets. Unfortunately I see so much pain and discomfort in his eyes and the sense that he can't really accept the fact that he indeed is a hero.. it's dwarfed by the physical and mental pain that he's enduring. I hope he's feeling much better now and recovering. The trauma caused by an event like this is lifelong, but hopefully will subside a little gradually with time. He and his family shouldn't have to pay any of the medical costs out of pocket-- but unfortunately the US is cruel in this regard.

Now this kid should at least be giving speeches because HE actually survived bullets and PROTECTED! his classmates from getting shot! So why is Gonzalez and Hogg the face of the parkland shooting??? Gonzalez wasn’t shot and Hogg rode his bike to the school and be considered a survivor??? This kid has balls and those he managed to protect are forever are in debt with him and show him some real respect. That goes for the other students who ACTUALLY risked and died to protect their fellow classmates. My respects also to the student who was in that military program who died in order for other student to have the chance to continue and live life. I hope this kid calls out Hogg, Gonzalez, and others who think of themselves as “survivors”. Respects to you for doing a brave thing for your fellow classmates.
