With with more than 200 protestors arrested, the ongoing demonstrations and responses by administrators have stirred debate about the line between free speech for protesters and open harassment of Jewish students. They are more upset over hurting the feelings of pro-Israeli students than the death of more than 40 thousand helpless civilians in Gaza. Nearly half of which are children, mostly small children. I find that in itself an abomination.
The ICJ, the Geneva Conventions, and world opinion has said 🇮🇱 does not get to retaliate to whatever degree they wish.
Some people have been conditioned since birth to see Israelis as righteous victims and Palestinians as barbaric aggressors. Even though this is exactly the reverse of reality.

Hamas terrorists kidnapped 253 civilian men, women and children during their murderous rampage six months ago. A brief cease-fire in December led to the release of 105 prisoners and the Israeli Defense Forces have rescued three hostages. Hamas released four more unilaterally.
During a March interview with the BBC, an Hamas official said the group has “asked for a ceasefire to collect that data” on which hostages are alive and where, the Jerusalem Post reported. The official added that information on the hostages was “valuable” and could not be given “for free.”
This is what deluded Hamas sympathizers defend. I in no way back all that Netanyahu is doing in Gaza. I also am not behind all of what the anti-Israeli protestors are saying. When the concept of genicide is brought up the protestors seem to miss that Hamas has vowed to anialte the Israeli and Jewish population. They teach this idea and seem to care little for anyone including the Palestinian citizenry who stand in their way of that goal. Until those ideas are given up and the people on both sides decide to move forward and live together not much will change.

If these schools want to crack down on protester's free speech to appease the "donor class" why not take the protests to different venues. Robert Kraft is one of the biggest donors to Columbia University. Kraft owns the New England Patriots. Why not take the protest to NFL games? This move would create lots of free exposure for the protest because of the popularity and media coverage of the NFL. It would take the fight to a place where these owners think they are safe and damage their business's and popularity. Here is a list of Jewish NFL owners:

While I'm sure there are plenty of people with good intentions and conscience protesting this, I can't help but also think there are a fair amount jumping the band wagon of virtue signaling as well. As a scientific entity, the campus is right to protest Israel's actions in massacring and blocking humanitarian aid for Palestine. Especially with thousands of victims of children and women and the discovery of mass burials of thousands of Palestinians who were massacred by the Israeli army (IDF). Let's continue to protest as a form of world brotherhood against human rights violations and crimes against humanity. Whatever our religion and belief in God. Doesn't religion teach humanity and compassion?
