This was pretty cool to see! Most of the doll customization channels I watch use stuff like tiny bolts/ screws, nuts, washers and/or wire to create joints for their dolls so it was pretty neat to see a different method of creating functional joints

A hand saw or a dremel would probably go faster, but I think you have more control and lose less of the materials this way! Great tips!

Wow, you are brave! Amazing transformation! I use a small jigsaw and hand drill to cut up dollies, a lot easier I'd imagine. Loving these videos.

Try using smaller beads for the joints to make it unnoticeable, to look like a ball and socket joint

It should work. Just be careful with the heated knife because it will burn through the rubber so much faster than the hard plastic. Good luck.
