Definitely pulling igrene at least. A byleth counter that is also meta and not a dedicated counter that offers little else is such a good piece to have right now and that plus 1 movement support is something to help give her longevity.
Nice to see my boy Marth in the meta tier! I’ve been using my +10 with No Quarter and it has heen a blast. He needs a bit of setup to get the vantage up, but it definitely pays off!
I keep thinking we're going to get a vantage seal and that would be perfect for Altina, I can only wish
I've got like 3 spare Rearmed Alcryts. Do you think it'll be worthwhile summoning for that Pulse Up skill to put on alcryst to duplicate? (Assuming he can inherit it)
I think the bigger question I’d ask is where's Vantage 4?
I want to see Igrene make infantry lines meta! Flier and cavs were having all the fun, infantry wants to play too!!
Infantry get 99% of all of the skills and no real anti-infantry weapons exist.

Answering based on your opening question.
Well so long as the current nukes can stack flared sparrow, occultist/assassin strike or are just Legendary Camilla and half her hp is gone before the fight even begins. No Altina does not bring back omni-tanking. 7 to 21 free pre-combat damage... or Legendary Camilla numbers is the problem that IS still refuses to solve. Bulwark 4 would have been a perfect introduction to a counter to the reign of pre-combat damage, but IS is still refusing to hand out even 1 counter. This is the effect that's killing an entire playstyle, and this is effect that IS needs to make a counter to.

Is her special confirmed to have non-pierceable %DR? What if it's like Vital Astra (non-special effect) instead?
Contrary to my initial guess, it looks like it's non-pierceable. I'm basing that on the Altina vs Bramimond battle in the trailer, because I don't get an accurate result if I assume Altina's special DR can be pierced.
Fehology also pointed out in a comment below that Vital Astra specifically says it's pierceable, whereas Arms of the Three does not.

Still hoping to see either Vantage Seal or an easy way to grant the vantage buff. If I’m running Vantage, I want it to be in tandem with Null C-Disrupt. Getting Altina regardless, she’s absolutely gorgeous.

If you can get Byleths’s duo skill off, he should do fine. Alternatively, did Gotoh stonks just rise?
I have a problem with calling Vantage sweepers Omnitanks. They are Enemy Phase units, but they are not tanks. Their whole gimmick is based on never getting hit, and because of that, they require a different kind of build and supports. It's like calling mixing galeforcers and nukes on the same tier list because they are PP units.
Regarding the banner, I'm not sure what's going to be the impact of any of these units. I'm not sure Igrene is going to replace LChrom as the WByleth killer on SD because of his cantrip assist, while AoE's are kinda easy to avoid in AR-O. As for Altina, she looks pretty good not gonna lie, but I'm not sure if she has enough stuff to replace LAlear as the brave green omnitank, specially considering LAlear can also act as a support.

Arms of the Three should be given to Legendary Altina. Also I should add, as far as Byleth is concerned, his duo skill could hamper that crazy 102 aoe
H!D!Igrene is tempting to pull for that Infantry Line AR-D. I'll have to look at my barracks and see if I can pull it off, if I have enough ranged nukes, I might pull her. Despite that, this banner doesn't interest me a lot. Great art as always.

Thanks for the great vid! While I think Altina is a solid omnitank, I just think D!Sanaki is going to obliterate her 😅 Should be interesting seeing what infantry lines D!Ingrid brings into AR-D!
W!Dimitri only dies to sweep effects or hardy bearing which are scarce and can preemptively sniped, definitely #1 omnitank
His biggest problem is killing everything before you get the pots. It’s why NY!Seiðr is so good for him.

Vantage is insanely good, as someone who has a plus 10 ninja Camilla and Brave Marth, it is so nice to have, only problem is that they don't have NCD, Camilla can easily tank Duo Sanaki with Peony Gentle Dream+ and thanks to Legendary Camilla pierces damage reduction.
Couldn’t agree more on Altina. Good unit, but not anything game-breaking. I’m wondering why they aren’t giving us something “must-summon” since everyone is broke from Christmas. Seems like that would be a good way to make money. But hey, what do I know? I’m thankful for a skip.
The infantry line potential that Igrene brings is intriguing but it’s tricky because the top of the line nukes (especially those in my barracks) are Cavs and Fliers. Going to +1 Igrene and pretend she’s a Cav and slot her in spots that I’d normally use a Cav but my nukes are performing so well it’s moreso a luxury versus necessity

Altina’s special reads the same as Vital Astra. So it looks like standard piercable DR. Think that might bump her out of meta tier
You might be right, but Vital Astra states specifically that it’s piercable. We’ll find out in a couple days.
tbf that really shouldn't be a weakness thanks to her scowl even moreso if you run her with Veyle, the big issue is with units like N!Sanaki and L!Camilla that get DR pierce on all their attacks and DR not affecting L!Camilla's chip damage.

I honestly think Altina is the wrong colour for the meta but still good. The Harmonic will probably be best in AR-D and SD but not anything game breaking. Gotoh stonks?

Edelgard can still get through Altina. The only thing that can possibly save her is the special and even then, the stat swing that Edel provides is a lot. Atk/Def -20 is crazy

@@marcosmolares5910 Well... after doing the paralogue I notices that Edelgars can struggle to kill Altina if she goes below 25% hp or she isn't able to move more than 1 space.

It's always funny to see RUclips videos pretending tanks are dead in AR. I am top 1k every Anima and Chaos season (I need more light merges for score). I don't have a single player phase team. Buff cleansing disables Sanaki's piercing for older tanks. Dimitri can hit and sit pretty easily since only one unit can run Hardy Bearing on defense. Winter Byleth still tanks most things with the right support.
