How accurate is this video still in 2024? I have recently started playing FEH after a long break and while focusing on primarily AR-O/AR-D I would like to be tier 19-20 in arena for the orbs. Would be nice to see an updated plan using recent units if possible. What would you recommend I spend my story orbs on?

I’m tempted to go red honestly, gonna have to grind up a lot of orbs tho Corrin looks cool!! Feh has definitely made me a simp for him XD I do wish he was a Staff unit though, would’ve been really cool (& hilarious) to me because of his base game, I like the green dragons tho Honestly, I’m not sure if I should go all in on here, I’m actually building a galeforce fire team with legendary Hector, so there’s a bit of overlap here 😅🤧 I kinda want him for collection purposes, but that goes to a lot of units 😆 (maybe this year I’ll get Halloween M!Corrin 👏👏🤧😆)

As an EP player, I'm not sure I like LMCorrin. His weapon is good although nothing gamebreaking, but his special is pretty bad IMHO. You don't want your omnitank to remove your stone veins in AR nor prevent the enemies you intended to bait from attacking you. It requiring you to enter combat doesn't seem to practical for SD either, specially because water seem to be best used by your nukes attacking into the enemies than for LCorrin to take advantage of it (as it won't be active during his combat). Half piercing is not enough when LF4 exists. I feel DAltina does a better job at being the counter meta pick over him. His B skill is great though. I can wait to put it out on Mila, Naga, the Liliths, and the Lumeras.

I think people are underestimating just how disruptive Corrin's water vein is due to it also triggering on EP. It is incredibly difficult to gang up on Corrin due to him constantly putting up movement impairing terrain where his opponent attacked from. Not to mention he more than likely can realistically compete with Lyon's res check, especially with the phantom res component of HDW.

Really struggling to see if it's worth going in on red. Dual emblem rings logically has some great longevity for the account, but is 2 stats really that great with the rampant scaling of these new units coming out?

10:10 A rough estimate is that Corrin should be perfectly capable of tanking Duo Lyon. Unpierceable 64% from his Special (with Ike Engage), stacked with High Dragon Wall (even if cleaved in half), followed by the flat -7. This is actually more percent DR than what Ike has, even if it's not as much flat DR, so I can see Corrin indeed taking no damage from Lyon. Also, depending on his base Res, he might even be able to naturally counter Duo Lyon thanks to the Phantom Res in High Dragon Wall.

So I can stack M/PNFU on a weapon that halves DR (B! Marianne for ex), on Camilla's bonus on water terrain for.... How much DR cut do i need again?

from the first look, my take is that L!M!Corrin is just gonna be a more expensive Y!Lissa since they are both Melee Infantry that basically function as Green counterparts to Emblem Ike and both suffer from the same problem of not having NCD main differences between those 2 is gonna be: scoring since Corrin gets the boost from being a Legendary Dragon skills for Corrin although not sure if he'd want any of them over his base kit Corrin's Prf Special Lissa having access to Echo skills since she doesn't have a Prf skill(technically Corrin could use one, but he'd have to give up his special) Lissa being able to not outright lose to Fatal smoke since she halves deep wounds from this I'd say they are about the same for now, but if we got an NCD Echo skill then Y!Lissa would just be the better of the 2

I'm kinda confused about your opinion on the SD meta. I think tanks are in the best spot they have ever been. We have enough tools to actually build 4 functional teams for SDS, and have enough variation of tanks and supports to pick from in SDR that we can actually build counters to whatever pasta gets used the most.

Don't feel guilty sharing your Duo Sharena runs. It's been 6 years overdue lol

Investing Laguz Friend 4 into Nergal is looking more and more like one of the best decisions I made. He's been an absolute brick wall against Ike and W!Edelgard. We'll see how it goes against B!Sharena this season.

So my fallen Lloyd I game atk spd prime 4 isn’t so hot for the meta now 😅 oh well I don’t really follow meta too much as I don’t focus on PVP modes

I had duo sharena on my hapi team in sds! :) and that team got me my master A win! (Hapi counter meta? She does beat ike/myrrh)

WEdelgard is definitely dropping off in use. Every ARD now has traps at melee range in front of all their units as well as a green save unit (BEdelgard). Plus, IS just gave us a shiny new blue galeforce unit so its not getting better any time soon.

Finally we have an upgrade to velouria, but she can still pull some weight. I was using a brave gullveig AoE galeforce team for AR-O, and she was amazing in that. Sure, her offensive power isn't that big, but even she can kill 1hp enemy units (and she has tempo on her refine so she can proc galeforce consistently). All this to say that I love galeforce, and I'm really enjoying this multi action meta. And also, this just proves that galeforce oriented units take the longest time to age, they'll always have a use.

W!Edelgard still feels fine for me in AR as someone that regularly places within the top 3000. Although that might be because I always wait til last minute to do my daily raid, lowkey an advantage of being west coast

Action economy has always been the strongest form of power creep in the game. Say what you want about Laguz friend (I know I have) but at the VERY LEAST it's countered by accessible play styles. Lyon straight up not letting you play the game and Sharena/Lapis letting you play the game too much is the DEFINITION of overpowered, and the worst part is that any counters they potentially add in the future (cure for the disease, as you guys put it) is just going to make the game MORE toxic, MORE unplayable and significantly less fun the worse this gets. I am so sick and tired of getting a fun new toy to play with and having it be useless in the next 2 weeks. At this point, just don't spend a lot of your day playing FEH. Don't spend resources, don't invest in new projects, just don't do ANYTHING. Because at the end of the day, IS doesn't want you to have fun, it wants your money.

I have to say, I was surprised by Loki. You might remember I was NOT hyped about her, but I needed Veyle merges and I had colorless as a backup color for a shot at Fatal Smoke fodder, but ended up getting Loki on a random blue-less circle instead. Since Medeus was pretty much dead weight on my current defense, I was happy to switch her in since there was nowhere to go but up. I made a little return trap with R! Sonya (she's not the best but I don't have Igrene and Sonya is my IP4) opposite to my rally trap's lane, and went to town. Trap aside, I can't tell you how many people I've seen get baited into getting all their buffs taken away. I even had one giga buffed +10 Nergal (with +10 ring) try to initiate on my defense, only to get their buffs taken away, scrape off Byleth, and then get deleted by Sonya (admittedly, a lot of the heavy lifting was done by Occultist Strike). And I mention this to go back to your line of "in the hands of a good player". That's basically the state of AR right now. Offense has so many powerful tools that you just can't lose if you're somewhat good but, statistically speaking, most people are NOT, and that makes units like Loki, who'd otherwise be easy to play around of, better than they are in their own right.

Cant wait them to release the "Laguz Enemy" skill that insta kills Emblem Ike on turn 1 if he happens to be on the board. The whales screeches are gonna be so loud that they are gonna wake up some Lovecraftian ancient beast that has been asleep for centuries...

I am truly fearful of the amount of ikes in arena post rerun like you said. I genuinely think a decent solution would be to release either a F2P inheritable AOE weapon akin to ursula/igrene's perf. Either that or just make an AOE grail unit with a perf so no score hit. Right now as a 100% grail unit user in T21 arena it feels impossible when Ike shows up

I'm getting to that point of not wanting to play the game again. They JUST revived Omnitanks with LF4 and now they're making it harder for omnitanks AGAIN bc of Nergal and Loki??? Pick a lane, man... SD is gonna be awful for a while, it seems 😵‍💫

How am I liking the action meta; well since it's Sharena, I LOVE IT
