  • Lt. Jennifer Kerlin has been a part of #MDFR for 24 years, constantly responding to the needs of our community. In this video, Lt. Kerlin shares her journey with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), following her involvement in the primary search and rescue efforts during the Champlain Towers South collapse in Surfside in 2021.
    On #NationalPTSDDay, MDFR shares Lt. Kerlin’s story, in the hopes of raising awareness and understanding of PTSD among first responders and the public.
