Its nice to know that I've been making hollandaise for years, in almost exactly the same method as Gordon, only use oniony white wine vinegar (simmered with shallots) instead of tarragon.
Imma try that next time. I made this recipe as Gordon made it and tbh, while it was tasty and had a "clean" flavor, it was a little boring for the amount of effort xD

Love these “drool” videos! For me it’s woodworking, metalworking and cooking. It’s all about creating things from basic ingredients/components. Keep them coming.
I often use parma in my Benedicts, along with toasting the English Muffin in a pan. Though I sort of cheat with using the immersion blender technique for the hollandaise. I used to use the double boiler technique and have even made it with direct heat. Only thing I really need to get better at is poaching eggs.

The first time I tried it I was not a fan of it but also because I'm not a fan of regular ham. From what I've seen of this version though, I'm definitely willing to try it like this
I love over medium salt and peppered eggs and I love hollandaise sauce but I haven't ever coached the eggs to make eggs benedict or the soft-boiled eggs because I love my eggs with salt and pepper when I cook them I always make over medium eggs and butter but that looks really good maybe I'll try to make that
I have used Parma ham for Eggs Benedict and I actually prefer it to the traditional Canadian Bacon. Another great twist however is to use a smoked ham slice that is seared off - it adds another dimension and depth of flavor as well.

Ahhh, classic Ramsey recipe video. Amazing recipes using only the finest of ingredients that no one can get unless they live in a massive city with a ton of specialized markets or order them online.
