Gordon: teaspoon only
Oil coming out of the bottle: GLUG GLUG GLUG
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣👌🏻
When Gordon says “ add a tablespoon of oil” you see about half a cupful being poured from the bottle. If you followed his verbal instructions none of his recipes would work. Pity
I thought I was the only one who noticed that lol
@@tommarinan4056 i found that out with his Thai chicken and broccoli 🤣 one chicken breast WILL NOT feed 2 or 3 easily...well, unless you just want a light snack of course
It's a rough estimate this time.
What a wizard, he can show us multiple 20 minute recipes in a 14 minute video
Its probably edited out😅
Its not that, it's Gordon Ramsey saving time anywhere but in hells kitchen

Gordon Ramsey always sounds like he's broken into a stranger's house, and has to remain quiet while he cooks a delicious meal with their food.
ruclips.net/video/0Sto1Ybxong/видео.html
man lmao
Have you ever seen Hells Kitchen? Quiet? LOL
@@Mrs.VonChin He's quiet but in a loud way
That's hysterical! I needed that chuckle. Thank you
Tried the beef chili lettuce wraps tonight. I followed everything. They turned out fantastic. My roommates loved them as well. If you are looking to cook anything in the video, this is the one.
You sound like an amazing roommate lol
Is the recipe posted anywhere?
@@bethanyboothe4817 I did not use an exact recipe or measurements. I have no experience cooking but I just followed what Gordon said and did in the video.
What’s the chili he uses?

Gordon: Just a touch of olive oil
Also Gordon: Empties half the bottle
And a few tablespoons of cream is actually a cup of cream.
Also a tsp/tbsp of some thing and is almost a half bowl. 🤣
Honestly a lot of recipes call for amounts of things that simply are too little...not sure why they pretend to use such small quantities (maybe for health/nutritional guidelines)...my rule of thumb with garlic is take what a recipe calls for a triple it!
Use Russian garlic, bud.
You’re welcome in advance.
Also, I wish pro chefs would make a video on basic kitchen storage of fresh food. How do they organize their fridge? What are some hygiene rules that most home cooks forget? How do you get really good on cutting produce so quickly?
I’m a blue collar truck driver middle aged….one of my life goals is to enjoy just 1 meal made by Chef Ramsay.
Or at the very least one of his restaurants.
This guy is an inspiring savage!!
You’ll get there brother
That’s a good ambition. One I did a few years back and was as predicted, wonderful
He owns quite a few restaurants, that goal may be easier than you think. Treat yourself and enjoy it! Cheers
Yes he’s lots including the new Burger restaurants
He’s opened a new chain called street burger I think.. depending where you are it might be quite an easily achievable goal :)

Gordon Ramsay: Cooks anything.
Me: I want.
Seriously though he makes me want to eat stuff I don’t even like
Translation:
cup tea: is 1/5 liter
Tea spoon: is 500ml
Just a touch: is Half bottle
Hope it helps 😉 😂

20 minutes to Gordon, is 1 hour in my reality.
I made the mushroom leak and terragon pasta but I used linguini noodles. It really was phenomenal. Using chicken stock and cream for a sauce is something I'll never forget now. Chibada bread was the best with it, too.
Ciabatta ;)
Your spelling of ciabatta bread is so cute oh my goodness
I've tried this as well, but used coconut cream and vegetable stock to make it vegan. I also couldn't get tarragon so I used thyme instead but the result is still amazing. This is one of my go-tos now.
Chibada hahahah
This is what cooking is about! Cooking a dish and learning techniques that you can take to other meals.
Gordon Ramsey is so wonderfully awesome! Watching him cook with his lovely mother made me understand how such a great, successful person can still be so humble. Hats off to a super star! Thanks Gordon Ramsey, for not only for your outstanding instructions for great cooking, but even more importantly, teaching us so much about having confidence while still maintaining humility. So much to admire!!!!
I love how Gordon sounds like he has to go to the toilet as soon as possible every time he shows how to cook
I think it comes from his time in really fast paced and intense kitchens. You have to be on your toes in that industry and I think that’s stuck with him.

Love this. With food prices going up up and away, I'd love to see more budget meals or tips on replacing expensive ingredients with clever substitutions to still get good taste and nutrition.
Cream or butter go a long way
Grow some of your own food if you can
I'm no chef but I like to make pretty fancy meals as much as I can. My tips are to use canned food where you can, such as canned tomatoes in place of regular tomatoes in a soup or sauce, buy what's in season as it tends to be cheaper and much tastier, and stock up on staples when there's a sale. Yoghurt is an excellent substitute for cream and as it's used in a lot of everyday meals, it means you don't have to buy cream just for one meal. You can also try using milk and a bit of flour to make a roux-type sauce. Grow your own herbs if possible and if not, go for dry herbs as you'll get much more out of them. Opt for frozen fruit and veggies where you can. I almost exclusively only use frozen spinach and broccoli in place of fresh, and use frozen mixed fruits to put in my morning porridge. Extra Virgin Olive Oil, lemons, dried herbs and standard spices are your best friends when it comes to seasoning. Try and make your own seasoning mixes too, such as taco spice, in place of having to buy a new sachet every time you want tacos. If you have time/can be bothered, bake your own bread, cookies and cakes, it's much cheaper and usually is much better for you, and lasts longer of course. Also if you can, buy fresh produce from a local deliverer instead of going to the supermarket, this produce is likely to last much longer in your fridge if you store it properly compared to supermarket produce.
Hope these tips help :)
Been broke… forever… Biggest trick I have to always having good food on limited means is buy large cuts of bone-in meat, fillet the cuts yourself, then throw the bones into a crockpot, stockpot, pressure cooker… whatever you’re into. I checked nutrient extraction efficiency. The difference is negligible. Same with vegetable scraps, indiscriminately thrown into the broth. Strain and store.
Now you have a workable amount of meat bought for cheap and a broth that can be used for soups, gravies, vinaigrettes, pasta sauces, dips….endless… Added bonus: consuming collagen and gelatin on a regular basis improves skin elasticity, joint health and organ function. My shoulder got really bad from overuse at work and I swear going back to a broth diet helped a lot.
From the projects to the trailer park keeping this consistent habit has kept me from worry too much about grocery cost.
Gordon isn't a national treasure. He's an international.
Global treasure he’s the Michael Jordan of chefs

Why is Donald Trump pretty and I am not? But why does he only have a wife but I have TWO HANDSOME GIRLFRIENDS who I show off in my masterpiece YT videos? Do you know the answer, dear de
Yes
Yup.
👍👍👍
These videos have taking my cooking to the next level. Even on a tight budget. Buy the best you can afford and substitute what you can. (I can’t swing truffles on potatoes. I cooked bacon ends and sprinkled them on top). The technical part of cooking is so important. You can make anything great.

I've said it before and I will say it again. This man is passionate about cooking. I wish I could be that passionate about anything. It is one thing to see him shout and yell and whip other people into shape. He is a different person when he is working the kitchen. He gets visibly excited and you can tell he really cares. Nice to see.
I have made the chili beef wraps! They are AMAZING ♥️
Those chili-beef lettuce wraps are AMAZING! I did it with lettuce for wraps as shown, but you could also serve over rice, or with mu shu pancakes or wantons as well.

It's cooking like this, simple and delicious that reminds me of how my Grandmothers, Grandfathers, and Mother taught me how to cook. Just smelling first and then watching. Thank you
Thank you Sir!! Shame is 3 un the morning , can't wait to try these 🤤
Fantastic recipe It looks delicious. Thank you for this recipe.
I love watching these videos of Chef Ramsay cooking. I'd love to try some of the ones that especially catch my interest, but unfortunately, I am allergic to citrus. With as important as the citrus sounds to the overall flavor of the recipes, I'm afraid leaving it out would ruin it. I don't know what could be used instead.
Bit late but, vinegar! Apple cider or white wine for instance might do well
Allergic to Citrus.....so you cant eat fruit?? People think theyre allergic to peanuts, but its the chemicals they treat the peanuts with.....are you in tbat category? Is it citrus or the sprays on the fruits? Bug sprays etc. Get properly tested.
I get terrible reactions from things like oranges, grapefruit, lemons and limes. Dr told me that I was allergic to citrus fruit so have to avoid anything containing them.
@@paulajones1177 Bananas are ok. I thought all fruit was basically citrus....guess not after thinking about it.
The purpose of lemons/limes is to add acidity to a dish. Acidity balances out rich and fatty flavors. You can substitute them with any form of acidity - another commenter suggested vinegar and wine, which are both great. Even something like tomatoes can provide acidity.
Lemme just push this video in with the, "Things I know how to do but can't do" section in my head...
@Nevaeh Yessenia It’s something people like to call “entertainment”.
Thanks for the delicious recipes 😊
Ive only ever thought to use boiled potato and egg as the key binder to make veg fritters (or cutlets) ..this flour, egg and milk version to tie it all up sounds soooooo much more easier!! I cant wait to use it and switch up the veggies ❤❤❤
I’ve tried this before mate loved it
I am definitely addicted to Gordon!
Love to watch him cook 😍
Excellent maestro 👏, lovely and won’t break the bank. 👍 My fav is the pasta recipe that I’ll make swapping the leeks with locally grown green and purple cabbage that need using (soft parts of the leaves only finally chopped and discarding the hard centre). I like the fact that the recipe doesn’t end with ‘and add a little bit of grated Parmesan on top’ of course you could but there it limits cost, it’s different and showcases the sauce. Perhaps more authentic to truly taste the leeks and mushroom with tarragon 😋 and cream.
These look so good! Easy but elevated!
“Only a TEASPOON of sesame oil”. Proceeds to dump the bottle of the oil. I think he confused teaspoon with cup LMAO
“TEASPOON” was very keen to emphasise that… But that was easily 2 tablespoons.
The mushroom leek pasta is always 10/10 for literally everyone I’ve made it for ❤
Will for sure try them all out! Thanks! 😊

Gordon: everyone has a tin of sweet corn
Me: how did he…?
I'd been cooking since I was a little kid with grandma. October 2020 I caught COVID. I had a mild case and recovered in around one week. Everything was fine until January when I noticed some foods tasting off. Fast forward to today and nearly every protein tastes unpleasantly off. Many fruits taste rotten and vegetables often have no taste at all. Dairy varies wildly. On a more dangerous note, I can no longer smell natural gas and constantly check my stove.
I really didn't realize how much I truly enjoyed cooking until I could no longer season my own meals and today, my 35th birthday, I can't tell you how much I miss simply being able to taste a sauce I've made and be able to tell if my family will like it. I used to consider myself a good cook and now I can't tell you if a chicken soup has too much salt.
Anyway, if you enjoy cooking and want to be able to smell a gas leak, vaccinate lol
It took me 20 hours to cook this! 🤣
The whole day?
Gordon Ramsey: “…. And that’s from using a tin of Corn”
