The drummer is the legendary Gar Samuelson, he was a precise, fast, groovy and technical drummer who played Jazz before joining Megadeth. He and the guitarist on this song were kicked out in 1987 for selling the band's gear for heroin. He unfortunately died in 1999 i believe from Liver Failure because of his drug use. RIP to the greatest.
One of the best Thrash albums ever made!!! This album is all about metaphors. Who's slaughtering? Who's in charge? Or it could be about the Black Friday massacre in '78 in Iran....I don't know
The saying "If you want peace, prepare for war" is the motivator. So, who's selling the weapons for economic gain and who's buying the weapons for ???... it will never end...
that must have been sick when you heard that riff! i saw them live the first time this june and when i heard them play take no prisoners i was so fucking hyped cuz i didnt expect it at all
Megadeth was their best on rust in piece. That’s their best album. Marty friedman took over and made some of their most iconic solos. Poland was great but Marty was insane. All their albums pre cryptic writings
@@webechubbin Marty could never play the Poland guitar parts properly at any point, the closest one who could was Jeff Young. They had lost the punk and jazz influence that made Megadeth unique after Rust in Piece. It wasn't until Poland came back for The System Has Failed that it sounded like vintage Megadeth again, after a string of subpar albums.
When we (my homies and I) went to this show, there were big tarps on the equipment and 1 direct strobe light on MegaDave and low light. The roof about blew off the Roselands and The Ritz -- he played both in NYC. Imp 52 now and very happy I was there to experience it all live.. total craziness
It's really your first time listening to this? Best track on the record. Chris and Gar were the real foundation of their sound. Any subsequent album was something else, like a diluted version of their true and original mastery. That year 1987 will forever remain cherished in my heart. What a year . . .
Awesome choice, awesome reaction !!! Saw them do this live at Wembley Arena, London. 10th October 1990. Slayer, Megadeth,Testament and Suicidal Tendencies. Cool man. Enjoy the journey. Check out Sacred Reich, Dark Angel... the list is endless. Keep up your good work.
Please listen to Rattlehead by Megadeth the 2018 remastered. Your neck will break, the riffs and guitar work is insane. The solo will melt your face. So much energy.

Another great thrash song you should check out is Burns Like a Buzzsaw Blade. Anyone who heres it and says it's not thrash ain't in their right mind to me. Keep up the good content Swaggy.
It's all good. I mean, I been stupid busy and haven't been checking in as often as I should and Hell I'm a month behind on this one. No apology needed. As for suggestions: Megadeth - Dystopia off their Grammy Award Winning album Dystopia. I mean, I'm a lifelong Megadeth fan who has seen them live tons of times and that song still gives me the stank face. It's that good.
OK, so you're back. I was close to unsubscribing (kidding) Think of this song as a horror flic. It was very in fashion for metal at the time, to write about all things macabre.
Ok. I was trying to follow you but you stopped the music way too many times and when you stopped it in the middle of the solo, that was too much for me. Good luck
So jealous that he can hear that for the first time.
Soon enough we will also get to enjoy some Megadeth we aint heard before.

Yeah this shit is hardcore.

I was raised by my father aka A total Megadeth fan ! Loving it !!!
Heyo man, you seem like a genuinely good guy. Spread those good vibes!
This is a masterpiece! Who could make that a guitar riff? And a drum beat with it ! Crazy man!
It really is all somethin else . 86 too
My favorite Megadeth tracks and it's my favorite album of theirs as well.

I remember first time hearing this masterpiece! Dude, absolutely savage feeling! What a brutal and wonderful track! I was with my jaw like this😮😮😮
PURE FIRE. Thank you for this. Its been over 30 years and this song still melts my brain.
After Megadeth's first album, when their 2nd "Peace Sells......" came out critics and other bands said, okay, maybe they're onto something.
Their best album. Do "Wake Up Dead" or "Bad Omen" next.
He'd already done Wake Up Dead.
"The Conjuring" if "Wake Up Dead" is already off the table
@@bangyrmfhead the conjuring is the reason I have neck pain permanently
Saw Megadeth 14x since 85, they played this once
that must have been sick when you heard that riff! i saw them live the first time this june and when i heard them play take no prisoners i was so fucking hyped cuz i didnt expect it at all
This song was originally meant to be an instrumental but the record label forced them to put lyrics to it.
Thank god
Chris Poland at his best. Megadeth was never the same after he left. Dave Mustaine even admitted that Chris played circles around him.

good to see you back on the metal bro, been to long, damn what a track to pick, a massive headbanging anthem
He is going crazy because he loves Black Friday. They have so many great songs.

megadeth most underrated song
Hard to believe this came out in the late 80s. This could come out today and still destroy anything on the market.
This song is about a serial killer having another episode which then leads to another blood spree
This IS for me the better song of all time
Dave is a genius, this is how I feel shopping on Black Friday.
His reaction is so funny 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣....he's loving it
My first "Black Friday" was like
Ey wtf just happend
Been a fan since
More more more Megadeth bro!! Love your reactions!

Iconic Thrash Metal LP...not a bad cut on it. Best one holds onto their face because it'll be blown off their skull.
I’ll have this on repeat til my dying day

1320!!! Very underrated song! As far as I know, no one has reacted to it. I could be wrong
If you're back on the Megadeth fix can I suggest 'Bad Omen' and 'Skull beneath the Skin' (from the 2018 final kill mix). Cheers
This song is fire... Ashes in Your Mouth is a great song you should also react to.

Not too crazy, got thrown out of a Megadeth show back in 93. Freezing ass cold too.

You're ruining the experience with all that stop/go and talking. Just listen to the song then do you commentary.
