These games really knew how to make you feel like the main character and solve societal problems. The movie adaptation was amazing too and the games were so entertaining. Some of my favorite games in my childhood.

I think you're thinking Kamen Rider, not Mahou Shoujo when it comes to Star Force. Kamen Rider usually deals with Technology-based transformations or technology harnessing magic/super natural forces to transform. Mahou Shoujo deals exclusively with Magic-based transformations. Although, it gets _really_ muddy when they use said magic to create technology-like items like phones.

There really isn't much difference between them in terms of gear or transformation they use, it's just that Henshin Heroes like Kamen Rider generally have fullbody suit complete with a helmet, while Mahou Shoujo are like a specific branch of Henshin Heroes that mostly consists of girls with some sort of dress as a battle outfit.

This was my very first RPG game experience I ever had, but unfortunately in 2010 I didn't know English, and that hold me back to understand a single dialogue of the game. But even with that barrier, I keep it playing, and man, the storytelling of this game is PERFECT, just for the songs and context I was able to understand very much what was happening. (a really great example is the luna platz theme, even I didn't know what she was saying, I know she was annoying. And that I hated her).
There's something about Megaman themes that have this kind of Smooth, Upbeat but, at the same time, very nostalgic and sad, though it can be a bit subtle. Call it nostalgia but it makes me teary eyed.
OMG, I remember back then, on every Megaman Battle Network and Star Force series I played, I still don't know anything about game walkthrough or anything like that. So I spend hours and days just to solve the misteries, easter eggs, and all puzzles alone. It's so satisfying after being able to solve them alone, because back then, I don't understand english that much, without any tips and guide, such a blissful days. While another kids goes to internet cafe playing dota or ragnarok or any multiplayer games in that era, I spend my entire elementary school until high school days by playing and exploring GBA and NDS games. So I don't have any friends to talk and discuss about this matter, I feel so lonely back then, but those games fill my entire childhood memories.

This was commonly done for other DS games, including Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon (as well as New Mystery of the Emblem), and almost all of the DS Dragon Quest games

With the success of the BNLC, a Legacy Collection for Star Force is almost inevitable. It could be a great way to capitalize off the success from its predecessor series plus unlike BN the SF games were never re-released outside of their home consoles but that could change. The question is though, is how are they going to handle the top and bottom screens & touch controls?

Loved both of them but in Star Force you really felt like a superhero. You'd have to run and hide somewhere so you could transform and save the day. It was awesome. Everyone knew who megaman was but nobody knew it was Geo.

One of my favorite games ever. If I had to choose between Megaman Starforce and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon 2 (Explorers of time/Darkness/Sky) It would be a long and agonizing choice.
Long post ahoy. My bad. As much as I want another Star Force (Purely for shipping reasons, which is a weak reason to want another game in the series), I realize that Star Force 3 finished off every loose end. Technically. Kelvin has come back, Meteor G is gone, Omega Xis is still on Earth, Mu is gone, FM King flipped things around, so major plot points are tied up. Minor plot points are covered as well: Bud finally has the inner strength to stand up for himself and want to protect Prez, Luna's family problems are tied up since the first game, Zach is...well I'll get to Zach. Sonia finally gets to hold hands with Geo (depending on the item you chose to recover) which is nice, but shippers will always demand more. I think the only characters who are virtually left in the dust or used for plot convenience are Pat, Hope and Solo. Hope finally gets her plot relevance towards the end of SF3 except for SF1 sort of, in my eyes Pat is virtually non-existent in SF3, and Solo is there purely for Protoman/Zero purposes, though he reminds me of Bass design and character wise. All the other minor characters now have made amends with the FM-ians that controlled them and now have taken on those personas but in a positive manner. That's it. The series had come full circle with SF3. I honestly don't see what else we could get from a SF4 besides maybe more Lan implications with Geo, and a happy ending with him and Sonia. I forgot about Zach! Zach gets the short end of the stick without a doubt. All of his friends get cool FM-ian alien partners and he's stuck with a Wikipedia mook that may fit his personality but doesn't do him justice. I wanted a Zach EM wave change so badly, would've reinforced the strength of the group, having all original kids play a part in the final battle. Sure he doesn't have any plot relevance whatsoever, but a guy can dream. Anyways back to Star Force. Great game series, really nailed the aspects of Megaman without some BS that BN threw into the mix. Not to say BN was bad, in fact it was my introduction to Megaman as a universe. However, Star Force is the matured form, and at the end of the day I will say that BN6 is the only game that can stand up to the Star Force games. It has everything: The blue bomber, the cute pink girl, the jealous blonde, the potbelly strong kid, the cool mysterious dude (edge added for effect), the nerdy kid, the scientist dad, everything. The first game hit the nail on the head with a great main plot, interesting to boring subplots, and fun bosses. 2 will speak for itself, and 3 is good across the board. But can anyone for all that is good tell me what is left in this series that could be put into another game? Besides shippings and Father-Son relations?
Everything. They could put everything into another game. As in a remake. It would be absolutely amazing to see the battles on the 3DS, and it would allow Capcom to fix problems with Pat, that problem being his complete absence after 1, and Solo in 3, because honestly he added absolutely nothing to the plot. He was just there for the sake of being there. I don't think there's even a point in the main story where you fight him. I mean, his role in the post-game story was awesome, but it would've been great if he had played an actual role in 3. Also I want Cancer Bubble back in 3. They dropped him for Wolf Woods, and it's cool that he came back and played a small part in the story, but that is not a good tradeoff for Cancer Bubble just being gone. They could also improve 3 with some of the real world, for lack of a better term, "dungeons" that 2 had. 1's "dungeons" were all in the EM space of whatever thing a villain was making go haywire. 2 changed it up by making all of these dungeons take place on the wave road, but still in the real world, but then 3 went back to having it all in the EM space of haywire machinery. It would've been cool to have more real world stuff. That's just my opinion though. It would've been cool.
+David Laush There is also the thing with more of Omega-Xis's backstory. Like how did he survived Planet AM's destruction, how did he lived on Planet FM without anyone finding out he was an AM-ian? How was his life on Planet FM? Like more about that. Maybe knowing more about the AM-ians. Like is there REALLY any more of them out there than just Mega and the 3 AM Sages(yes, they said theres a few survivors but how do they know? They might be guessing since Mega is proof there might be more survivors) SF4 should have it so the entire AM-ian race gets restored. Like focusing on Omega-Xis's inner conflicts, pain. The darkness in his heart. And theres also Duo.EXE who promised in BN4 to return to judge the earth again after a long time.
+GameHero152 How about having a bunch of NetNavis appear and seek revenge on the humans for tossing them away and replacing them with EM Wizards? Like a Neo Nebula/WWW happening. Such as the Darkloids somehow returning to wreck havoc. Like Omega-Xis ending up confronting LaserMan.EXE somehow. Maybe more on Acid too. Like he goes insane and wants the program that Ace removed from him back.
I know this is an old comment, but the ONE thing I would like to see in SF4 is some sort of wrap-up to all the postgame shenanigans the series had. SF1 had the admins, SF2 had Apollo Flame, and SF3 had Sirius. Plus, SF3 literally TEASED another chapter to Sirius at the very end of the postgame scenario!
Just came back after playing Battle Network 1, 2, and then just dropped 3. The BN series is just awful, good concepts, but it was like they didn’t get any push back on the really bad ideas, and just smashed it together. Which is a shame, since BN series has a lot of potential under it. Though, it is a very annoying series to get through. I started playing Star Force again, and immediately I was taken in by how greatly put together it was. For those playing on DeSmume. I’d recommend using the emulator pause for the mini games. It was designed for a stylus, and the mouse just doesn’t work properly. Should be the N button to pause the game, but you’ll have to manually click the unpause when you’re done.
Welp, if both legacy collections with Rockman X Dive goes well, then we may see EXE & Star Force Legacy Collections in Switch & all multi-plats soon...but if ya remember the franchise fatigue that hurt Mega Man in the 2000s, that's why they don't wanna say anything.
doesn't matter in my opinion, all 3 versions of this were awesome, same thing with the Battle Network title theme, all are great, hell the OSTs for both the Battle Network series and the Star Force series are amazing with every song in them in my opinion, still, not everyone thinks the same

Battle Network and Star Force were my handheld megaman games of choice, loved megaman zero but these games just hit different

Minor plot points are covered as well: Bud finally has the inner strength to stand up for himself and want to protect Prez, Luna's family problems are tied up since the first game, Zach is...well I'll get to Zach. Sonia finally gets to hold hands with Geo (depending on the item you chose to recover) which is nice, but shippers will always demand more. I think the only characters who are virtually left in the dust or used for plot convenience are Pat, Hope and Solo. Hope finally gets her plot relevance towards the end of SF3 except for SF1 sort of, in my eyes Pat is virtually non-existent in SF3, and Solo is there purely for Protoman/Zero purposes, though he reminds me of Bass design and character wise. All the other minor characters now have made amends with the FM-ians that controlled them and now have taken on those personas but in a positive manner. That's it. The series had come full circle with SF3. I honestly don't see what else we could get from a SF4 besides maybe more Lan implications with Geo, and a happy ending with him and Sonia.
I forgot about Zach! Zach gets the short end of the stick without a doubt. All of his friends get cool FM-ian alien partners and he's stuck with a Wikipedia mook that may fit his personality but doesn't do him justice. I wanted a Zach EM wave change so badly, would've reinforced the strength of the group, having all original kids play a part in the final battle. Sure he doesn't have any plot relevance whatsoever, but a guy can dream.
Anyways back to Star Force. Great game series, really nailed the aspects of Megaman without some BS that BN threw into the mix. Not to say BN was bad, in fact it was my introduction to Megaman as a universe. However, Star Force is the matured form, and at the end of the day I will say that BN6 is the only game that can stand up to the Star Force games. It has everything: The blue bomber, the cute pink girl, the jealous blonde, the potbelly strong kid, the cool mysterious dude (edge added for effect), the nerdy kid, the scientist dad, everything. The first game hit the nail on the head with a great main plot, interesting to boring subplots, and fun bosses. 2 will speak for itself, and 3 is good across the board. But can anyone for all that is good tell me what is left in this series that could be put into another game? Besides shippings and Father-Son relations?

Everything. They could put everything into another game. As in a remake. It would be absolutely amazing to see the battles on the 3DS, and it would allow Capcom to fix problems with Pat, that problem being his complete absence after 1, and Solo in 3, because honestly he added absolutely nothing to the plot. He was just there for the sake of being there. I don't think there's even a point in the main story where you fight him. I mean, his role in the post-game story was awesome, but it would've been great if he had played an actual role in 3. Also I want Cancer Bubble back in 3. They dropped him for Wolf Woods, and it's cool that he came back and played a small part in the story, but that is not a good tradeoff for Cancer Bubble just being gone. They could also improve 3 with some of the real world, for lack of a better term, "dungeons" that 2 had. 1's "dungeons" were all in the EM space of whatever thing a villain was making go haywire. 2 changed it up by making all of these dungeons take place on the wave road, but still in the real world, but then 3 went back to having it all in the EM space of haywire machinery. It would've been cool to have more real world stuff. That's just my opinion though. It would've been cool.

How was his life on Planet FM? Like more about that.
Maybe knowing more about the AM-ians. Like is there REALLY any more of them out there than just Mega and the 3 AM Sages(yes, they said theres a few survivors but how do they know? They might be guessing since Mega is proof there might be more survivors)
SF4 should have it so the entire AM-ian race gets restored. Like focusing on Omega-Xis's inner conflicts, pain. The darkness in his heart.
And theres also Duo.EXE who promised in BN4 to return to judge the earth again after a long time.

Maybe more on Acid too. Like he goes insane and wants the program that Ace removed from him back.
I know this is an old comment, but the ONE thing I would like to see in SF4 is some sort of wrap-up to all the postgame shenanigans the series had. SF1 had the admins, SF2 had Apollo Flame, and SF3 had Sirius. Plus, SF3 literally TEASED another chapter to Sirius at the very end of the postgame scenario!

Just came back after playing Battle Network 1, 2, and then just dropped 3. The BN series is just awful, good concepts, but it was like they didn’t get any push back on the really bad ideas, and just smashed it together.
Which is a shame, since BN series has a lot of potential under it. Though, it is a very annoying series to get through.
I started playing Star Force again, and immediately I was taken in by how greatly put together it was. For those playing on DeSmume. I’d recommend using the emulator pause for the mini games.
It was designed for a stylus, and the mouse just doesn’t work properly. Should be the N button to pause the game, but you’ll have to manually click the unpause when you’re done.

Welp, if both legacy collections with Rockman X Dive goes well, then we may see EXE & Star Force Legacy Collections in Switch & all multi-plats soon...but if ya remember the franchise fatigue that hurt Mega Man in the 2000s, that's why they don't wanna say anything.
doesn't matter in my opinion, all 3 versions of this were awesome, same thing with the Battle Network title theme, all are great, hell the OSTs for both the Battle Network series and the Star Force series are amazing with every song in them in my opinion, still, not everyone thinks the same
