- Hello guys and welcome to the 10th part of Mega Man Battle Network Operate Star Force.
In this part, Geo decided to go to the real world to meet and explain the situation to Lan and after doing so, he went into his PET and tried to go save MegaMan.EXE but he was frozen in time and needed something called Clock Data.
So, Geo and Lan went to Dex's house where they found a clock there and got its Clock Data, and went to save MegaMan!

"200 years from now, Navis live in the real world alongside humans"
We know you're trying to soften the blow Geo, but Navis haven't been used since SF1, and in the same game, we see a large pile of PETs in the garbage disposal world that is Dream Island.
He’s talking about Wizards, which are basically Navis in all but name.
@@pablotomasllodra4423 but aren't wizard em "sentient" beings?
@@ulisesavila2879 1. you mean Sapiant, and yes they are. 2. So are NetNavis.
@@ulisesavila2879 so are the Navis, they just existed in a separate dimension. JunkMan.EXE is literally a program born without an operator
Really? PETs were in the garbage in sf1?
Sucks so much that Capcom didn’t include this in their collection
Maybe we'll get a StarForce collection and this will be in it to buff that library a bit
I mean it's understandable due to the ds dual screen
@@maximumforce8275 not really, the Zero collection had GBA and DS games. So it's not like that wasn't possible
@@ClaireZhasa I wish the battle mechanics in Starforce weren't such nerfed baby crap. I just couldn't get into that series. Felt like a hefty step down from Battle Network.
@@OpinionParade I didn't mind them but I've only played about half of the first StarForce
With Geos journey to the past he improved his timeline. Well done.
Ever since 2008 I dreamed of Lan and MegaMan.EXE meeting Geo Stelar and Omega-Xis. To this day I'm still pissed off that Capcom wasted a great crossover on a Mega Man Battle Network remake that will never officially see the light of day outside Japan.
Oh this will give Capcom some ideas for a new Mega man cross over game *coughs* *coughs* (Mega man X cross Rock man)
(Mega man X cross Rock Man)??? You mean Dive Cross Mega Man?
@@LightStreak567 As an Mega man X and Rock man crossover game
"Rock Man" is Mega Man, it is his name in Japan, his original name (Both Mega Man and X), the characters will never be called Rock Man here in the West.
@@blazer6127 Maybe what you meant is Mega Man X & Mega Man (classic)
Hoping they do a starforce collection and put this in there
I highly doubt that but there’s nothing wrong with being vocal on youtobe and Twitter.
I wonder if they would add some thing like a bonus that you would get if you have the MegaMan battle network collection
It’s a huge longshot, but it would be interesting.
Honestly at this point a Starforce Collection is all but garuanteed, it's pretty much the last big Megaman series they haven't made a collection for yet. Though I doubt this game is gonna be in there as it was way more of a Battle Network game than a Star Force game, and there's more Battle Network games they didn't include, like Battle Chip Challenge and the gamecube one.
@@EskChan19 Megaman Legends
@@jprime9748 but legends has only like what? 2 games. can you even call it a collection?
Sounds like Lan is picking up habits from Mr. Famous. "I don't like things being so formal!"
He doesn’t meet mr famous until BN3
@@lordmonarch2995 actually until mmbn2
I like how future MegaMan runs at walking pace.
It's weird, because Geo canonically can outrun a truck lol.
I cannot wait to have a StarForce collection. Playing Black Ace online was a blast!
The clashing art style between Geo and the other characters kinda upsets me lol
Not only that but I wish they would make Geo and Omega-Xis split up while in the real world talking with Mayl and Lan, just for some more visual moments
I really wish the original game had a map
Damn they demoted Xis' writing from "i'm going call your problematic a-- the f- out" to an "i'm not an arm!" hothead.
His original dialogue portrayed him as extremely mature and patient but equally intolerant to ignorance. They only really half-got it.
I loved the Star Force Series... Its a shame that it wasn't beloved like the Battle Network Series.. But i feel like introducing this game as a priority instead of the Original Star Force Games first, wouldve most likely enticed more sales for the original games. Of course this game could've had better aspects of merging the two timelines and battle systems. The Star Force battle system was always a 8.5/10 for me personally. But this game having introduced Geo as the future's Megaman, would've peeked the interests of many fans and as a result, subtly passing the crown from Lan to Geo. Having the Star Force games focus on who Geo is and how he even became Megaman (essentially saying to leave the Star Force games as is). I feel this game could've been alot better in terms of story and battle mechanics, had it been the first to be introduced before Star Force.
I fear we will most likely never see Star Force 4 but i will not hesitate to hope and maybe even start a petition to see where the ideas they had for the concept art and story goes. Geo being an outlaw in the future sounds incredible. Hopefully more fans would join me to revitalize Megaman Starforce because I'm more than willing to bet alot of BN fans hardly gave it the chance it deserved.
true.
but as time passes, people began to appreciate star force and even calling it an underrated gem
STAR FORCE will live!!
All this takes place after SF3, this was supposed to set up SF4... Hopefully we get SF4 eventually. That cyberpunk game where Geo is a teenager and he meets Lan’s descendant.
Maybe. My hope is that the collections are supposed to gauge interest in new projects. If Battle Network and Star Force do well, we might see new ones.
Lan Hikari: Jack In Mega Man Power Up!
Geo Stelar: EM Wave Change! Geo Stelar On The Air!
I sure do hope we get a Starforce collection 🙏
We will it’s only a matter of time but I personally hope we get Legends collection first
Now you can do battles as Megaman.EXE or MegamanSF. The choice is yours.
Hi! Is this option only available in Star Force? I really dislike playing in first person POV that’s why I did not continue the game. 😤
@@Miggypg I'm sorry what? Also... No?... This type of gameplay is only is Battle Network Games. The Z axis is flipped in Star Force.
@@Miggypg You don’t play in first person in SF. Very confused lol
@@tman1669 ooohhh I see! So does this mean that after this game (Battle Network Operate Star Force), all the succeeding games are played in flipped z-axis, right?
@@officialpoppyperson hahaha! I'm sorry. Don't know what the flipped z-axis is called at first. First person pov is what I thought of initially. Hahaha! My bad 😅
It's weird how Geo talks about how navis exist in the starforce universe and that he enters the cyber world when in reality his time line focuses on EM waves and Wizards
I mean, Wizards are like Navis in a way
the first game still had navis in it they were the touch screen minigames u had to do in the regular world
@@RockmanSlayer00 yeah I guess you are right
Its so sad that THIS Game never got an OFFICIAL translation...
Also isnt the Official Title called Operation Shotting Star?
that's the official Japanese title but the fan English translation is *Operate Star Force*
Star Force Collection would be nice. SF1, SF2, SF3 and maybe OSS.
They would just have to make it single screen, and replace all touch screen stuff from SF1.
Also add in all cut content, especially Lunar Knights and Star Cards from SF1,
but also the missing cards like Andromeda.
A way to get all transformations without multiplayer would also be nice, like the Auto Brother from SF2. Maybe make Bud be Leo and Saurian, Luna be Pegasus and Zerker, and Zack be Dragon and Ninja.
Some tweaking to make SF2 less unbearable: Reduce random encounter rate, give a way to go to Mess Village and Whazzap as easily as the other places, when Terra Condor captures your friends don't require almost going all the way home, redesign the Sky Wave to be less of a maze and more like the Astro Wave.
Finally, some adjustments to post-game doors would be very welcome. Some require more Link Power than you can get in single player, some require x online battles played.
They managed to make double screns work in the Zero/ZX collection.
17:21 damn they even switch the boss music that's sick
It's weird seeing Star Force Megaman in the old BN style, since MMSF is based on the new style.
wait there is a battle network x StarForce crossover?! i gotta play this!
Megaman/Rockman entering other's house and ignore the owner... That is true rpg hero there, lol.
Btw... If i remember it correctly there's clock at the park, why need to go to Dex's house.
Ps: the Internet layout and map is from megaman 1... I me a the whole game's setting is based on megaman 1. They could atleast used megaman 6's map layout and settings which is more lively n cool imo
Why would you ever switch back to regular MegaMan when you've got the *clearly superior* option at all times?
Megaman.exe is the most powerful Mega Man to exist.
@@OpinionParade Not in Battle Network 1.
Genuinely? .exe's charge shot deal more damage. The mega attack is great utility especially for sword focused folders, but .exe has better damage output when you're out of chips. The shield is kinda pointless as the game isn't designed to have unavoidable attacks like Star Force. It'll just bail you out of mistakes and make attacks like Gaia easier to dodge.
... But all this analysis is worth nothing since Omega-xis' mix-tape is better.
@@SkiGlovesie I actually didn't know there were more differences than what Omega-xis tells you. I'd still pick SF since they're a bit easier to operate with the auto charge, lock on and the machine gun firing.
That last fact though, there's the real deal breaker.
@@OpinionParade uh...no....SF Megaman is. Despite how Strong .exe is, SF LITERALLY IS FASTER THAN LIGHT AND CAN CREATE/DESTROY blackholes. SF Megaman is FRIGHTLY STRONG.
I kinda wish they did the 4th one before this so that there would be more Interesting interactions since apparently the 4th Megaman SF would involve Lan's great grandson. What a waste.
Well, obviously, Geo couldn't tell them Mega was an alien that would pretty much alter the timeline.
Since navi started becoming real tuing in the future i always wondered if this is somehow connected directly to original megaman, megaman X, Zero and ZX, like BN and SF being the start point of it all, its a theory i have.
If only they did this crossover in a better game then the first battle network they could have had it in 3 or 6
It would've made more sense in a way too, as they have copybots in 6.
They were going to make a remake of the 2nd game as well but cancelled it after seeing how the first remake did
Wait how can Lan and Hikari see Geo? Wouldn't they need special glasses like Geos since he's made of em waves? Or did time travel shenanigans created massive fields of em waves that let Geo be visible to regular humans.
Geo while transformed is an EM Wave Human. thus normal people don't need the glasses to see him. If he choses to if i remember correctly.
@@flamerabbit8530 Been a while since I played the games but I think it wasn't until 3 that he was visible to regular humans due to the upgraded tech. In 1 and 2 he was invisible for the most part until there was a dense em field around that made him visible but I could be remembering wrong
This game takes place after SF3 it was supposed to lead up to SF4
In the anime version of Star Force it is said that people fused with ElectroMagnetic Beings can claim to be visible in the Real World.
What is the song playing in the background in the beginning? I assume its from one of the Battle Network or Star Force games.

It’s not??
@@danie1220-s8r It's not. It is called an advanced collection in japan, so nothing from the DS is present iirc.
Yo I remember how sick that was when you played it in starforce meeting the past megaman
if there is a Star Forces Collection i hope they inlcude this game in that collection
I honestly wish we got a Starforce crossover in a BN3 or BN6 remake (without the Double Team style OST), okay I just want a remake of BN3.
Actually, they were going to make an Operate Star Force for the 2nd and 3rd game but the first one didn't do this well so they cancelled them...
Ugh, they should have put this in the collection to
Or at least use it instead of base BN1.
If they just made a new story set during 1st game that would of worked.
With it time travel within the game I think that they should start a new mega game series with the idea time travel to protect the timeline outside of the timeline
That's (sort of) Rockman X-Over for you. Sadly, the execution wasn't the best.
Oh it's fully translated now?
I believe just a fan translation/rom patch
I think they released the English patch 2 years ago in finished state. I still have vivid memory of finishing SF moment in Battle Network 1 after the patch release
4:15 Just a Pancake much
Lan: my pet dont make that epic fusion :(
Geo to Omega: "Should we tell him that he can combine with his Navi?"
Omega to Geo: "Best not kid, god knows what stupid ideas he can think of if he did know"
wait this is real? i thought this was just some crazy fanfiction rom hack
It basically is, just one that you were expecting to pay for
Art for this game is labeled OSS, though…guess they would have kept it as “Operate Shooting Star” if localized or used in Legacy Collection…
Where could I find the rom for this, I used to have the rom a long while back but stupidly lost it as deleted it of my pc after putting it on a sd card then lost that

Okay...... I wonder why Shooting Star Rockman can not finish that homework?
As I recall, he is a quite intelligent, and even kinda genius student.
Different curriculums of different generations maybe?
Lessons are often revised throughout the years. Even math lessons are different from generation to generation. The emphasis on which history lesson is taught also depends per not just country but also the era that may give it emphasis. Science lessons may focus on something that only the future knows are right or wrong, but the past finds as objective data. And if it is a language or caligraphy lesson, well... I know some straight A students can also scuff it up during homework. NEVERMIND that dialect also permutates over time. Electives can also vary, as those are not often general education.

I love this game so much. I play alot of it but sadly, it hard to do everything like 100%. I found out that it is not super easy to do that because you have to play like expert. I am no expert. I just like to play for fun.
They actually made one ??like this
I will say its a bit lazy how they reused the deep space theme from sf1 to be Clockman’s stage theme. As cool as this concept is it would have been WAY cooler if it was its own original game instead of basically a bn1 remake.
Is this going for switch or it is a different system??
It was exclusive for Japan for the Nintendo DS
I played this when I had my r4, good times but this is still megaman. battle network 1 and Starforce megaman just outclasses Exe in every way possible at least in this game.
If you already beaten Megaman battle network 1, there is no reason to try this ver, plus this scenario is short and takes awhile to get to this part of the game.
The Battle Nework series really hits its stride with the 3rd game. Battle Network 1 is kinda hard to go back to, once you've played the later games; it's just missing many of the upgraded features in those games.
Also, Megaman.exe from Battle Network was proven to be the most powerful Mega Man of them all.
@@OpinionParade I wouldn't use death battle say that MegaMan.EXE is the strongest my guy. That video was pretty bad!
Honestly if you want to replay 1, this is the superior version simply because IT HAS A MAP
@@blueajw9942 Almost as bad as the Mega Man vs. Astro Boy video.
Is there a English version of this game.
Wait wait this a real game???
It was a Japan only release just like BN 4.5
Is this wh at started star force?
No, this released after the last game in the series, as the prologue here implies. This is just a crossover game between the two series as well as a remaster of the 1st BN game.
Is this real?
Yes, this is a real game call Rockman exe operate shooting star release back in 2009 for the DS. Basically the game is an improved battle network 1 with an starforce scenario added, so it’s not a complete crossover. The game was only released in Japan with no western release unfortunately due to poor sales. A fan translation was made years later for western audiences who where interested about the game.
Something been borther me since I play BN megaman. Where is the cross fusion? Did the game has difrent timeline with the anime series?
