Mega Man Battle Network and Star Force deserved every ounce of love that they get. Personally, I love battle network more but, Star Force is a worthy successor. Props to you monger for giving light on how these games are quite a blast.
star force was 2 steps foward 1 step back, while the characters and story had a better flow, and the graphics were much better, the combat was just blander(for me). it felt far more simplistic and less fun. the 1 lane just didnt give the same overall versatility BN had. i dont think its an easier game, but i do think the combat has less depth. it needed much more to be as fun to play. the sad part is, i actually loved the whole zorro thing it had going, with the mc being a super hero, instead of just a cellphone carrier. but that combat...
Design wise, I really prefer Star Force MegaMan a whole lot better, especially when he got an upgrade in 3 boy he looked like a BADASS and he's only in 5th Grade.

Black ace 100%. Imo it feels more canon than Red Joker (when you play 3, you'll understand) So happy to see this video out though. It's nice to see people give it a shot and not write it off, and actually _appreciate the story about dealing with trauma and depression_
Apparently, Joker was originally part of the Satella Police, but betrayed them for Dealer. So the Joker Program being in their possession still makes sense. Black Ace still makes more sense, though.
@@bestaround3323 I'll give you that but like dude up there ^^ said, it seems to be more canon considering the use of a black hole in BEG and what the post game plot revolves around. Both are cool in there own right
@@Phoenix_Blader_93 Well there was a fourth game that was cancelled from what I've heard, but I think a remaster would be a good way to test the waters to see if the appetite is still there.
I don’t think they should at all. I don’t think a complete 3DS game will cut it, like current Nintendo games. This is the type of formula that works best in a 2d mechanic and with some 3D. An all 3d mega man game doesn’t seem like it’ll create the nostalgia, since most games if not all Nintendo games are 3DS
Fun fact: either in the beta for full games code there are assets of a 3d mega man.exe and a reimagined acdc town which could mean it started off as BN 7
Those assets are found in the full game, they are 3D assets of the main characters of battle network and i believe a small 3D recreation of the main town
I remember seeing concept art for patch and older characters from battle network and a yellow girl character that did look suspiciously similar to harp note.
Considering there are only two MegaMan games with 7 in the title, I can only imagine whether it would've been a case of it taking three months to develop, or end up being treated like the devil by the fanbase.
Thats how into the game too by total accident it looked cool so i bought the game at gamestop back in 2008 and its still one of my favorite games of all time :)
Gameplay wise I agree, but one had the beat story. Two went into Saturday morning cartoon a bit too much for my taste, although I do enjoy the twists and turns of the second half. Three also has similar problems, with it mostly being used to tie up the loose ends of the story.
Geo (and Omega) was my Megaman. I only really enjoyed the OG and X series causally as the "hard but fun video games my uncle keeps letting me borrow", but having discovered the first Starforce game during a certain period of my teenage life, its story and characters really captivated me. Whenever I remember the series these days, I still get super bummed that it was basically cut short. P.S. Omega is true best girl, but Sonia and Luna are close seconds
An excellent video about an underrated game: the Starforce franchise is my favorite video game. You made a fantastic video, and it made my day to see this. 🤗 I think it's good to split the videos up rather than just one massive load of information.
@@bearberserker i just play it on my ds, I really like red joker. I also played Pegasus but for some reason I think I broke it I keep instantly dying when I enter battle lol
35:10 - Actually they do actually meet again. Similarly to BN4 and Boktai 2, Lunar Knights has a crossover scenario with Star Force that takes place after Star Force’s half of the crossover. Long story short. Omega-Xis and a re-revived Taurus end up in the Boktai world. Omega-Xis is stuck with the Lunar Knights guys, severely gimped without Geo around, while Taurus becomes Taurus Fire (something all the FM-ians can just do after dying and coming back) and starts a conquest with the local monster hordes. Eventually Geo gets to cross between worlds to wave change right as Taurus (rendered otherwise untouchable because of the wave roads) reaches his peak power… and Taurus gets slaughtered in under 15 seconds with just the buster. The good guys all leave happy, roll credits.
Mega Man from the very beginning had tokusatsu shows (specifically Kamen Rider and Ninja Captor) as parts of its DNA. It's just more obvious is BN and SF.
I still feel the Battle Network series is significantly better gameplay wise, however I do think the Starforce series is probably better story wise (though it was pretty low bar to surpass).
Is it good? I love battle network, especially 1-5. Would you recommend? The combat obviously looks like it lacks that timeless top down 2d sprites in a 4d space feel, but I could probably adjust.
@@GG256_ I'd recommend it, but from what I remember (haven't played it in a while) the battle system did feel a little lacking compared to BN, and it was a bit too easy (though the DX patch seems like it could fix that). On the whole I still enjoyed it enough to buy all 3 games, even as I was buying games less and less.
@@agentdiamond4728 yea but isnt that less of a Canon arc? The real meeting happened in Operate Star Force, apparently it was supposedly a bridge for SF4 because Geo teams up with Lan's descendant.
I hope that since more attention is being brought to Battle Network and Star Force we get a remake or successor, especially since 11 wasn't too long ago
This is the best video related to Mega Man Star Force on RUclips, excellent job. This is such a special game and there's so much to say about even beyond whats covered here but you more than got the point across and I finally feel like the series is in decent enough hands fanbase wise, I used to vouch for these games wherever I could as for quite a bit they were either slept on or just harshly scrutinized by people who I could tell either approached them with some form of bias(This isn't Battle Network crowd, or the It's not a real Mega Man game crowd) or just wrote them off entirely. The entire series is underrated yes but the first game was THE video game even I someone who isn't really a content creator wanted to make something for, while the drive isn't quite what it used to be it's still one of my all time favorites and I hope I can pay proper tribute to it someday. With people like you around it's safe to say I wasn't crazy for liking it so much, and that I can pass the torch and relax, feels great. Don't want to spoil much but while he'll always be a meathead, Bud will get more growth down the line and ngl Prez/Luna is my preference between the two heroines, she's so misunderstood but you didn't dismiss her and I'm grateful. While I doubt we'll ever see Star Force 4 again, I do hope that at least one day we'll see Star Force's Mega Man get to team up with and/or trade blows with Ryu and other Capcom legends in one of their iconic crossover fighting games, His potential is absolutely insane and he's just begging to be brought into the genre.
I started Megaman Starforce from the anime. The moment I saw Geo and Omega-Xis, I was...enamored. I really felt so much for Geo that I wanted to see his story. I preordered Starforce Pegasus and bought every subsequent game. And honestly, I feel it deserved far better. Starforce will always remain my most favorite Megaman series, and Geo and Omega-Xis as the best Megaman.
34:45 - What’s neat here is that the difficulty is warranted. In the second game, Sonia straight-up implies that this guy is somewhere around the AM Sage-Andromeda ballpark of power from meeting him on her own. Oh… and there’s someone under his employer even stronger than he is. But that’s its own story. Looking forward to Monger’s retrospective.
I’ve played all the battle networks before i played starforce. I remember when I got it the day it came out i was already hooked and loved the game. All megaman gameboy and ds games are under rated. Never knew about the DX version im definitely going to give it a try thank you for these videos keep up the great work
I absolutely loved the Starforce series. The use of constellations in the first game was a huge plus for me since it reminded me of my favorite anime, Saint Seiya, I couldn't stop smiling at the cheese scene when Geo comes up with the "Megaman" name and they game's theme starts playing, and the ending credits with Geo's capsule following his friends' signal back to Earth as the ending theme plays legit got me emotional the first time I saw it.
That's because they're based on Inspector Zenigata. The short-lived Mega Man Archie comic also has another Zenigata expy. Looker from Pokemon also falls into this category.
I recently replayed Starforce 3 with some friends and through emulation managed to make a brother band with them It had been one of the highlights of my year and I fucking love the Starforce Series as a hole, its a childhood favorite for me
I think those reviewers are entitled to their opinion but the sameness of Mega Man RPGs is hardly a criticism that's levied at Pokemon. I often criticize sequels for not doing enough to differentiate themselves from the original leading to diminishing returns but I apply that standard consistently. I think the poor reviews of Mega Man RPGs after Battle Network 3 have more to do with series fatigue (an entry every year) than the quality of any given title. An aspect of Mega Man RPGs that's often overlooked in reviews is the multiplayer which I believe add a lot of value to every game.
If I'm being completely honest I love Battle Network to death, but I actually love Star Force even more! It took everything I loved about BN and just elevated it imo. Better combat, better sound, writing and characters. With the pinnacle being Star Force 3. Now that we have the Battle Network collection I'm hoping Capcom will eventually give us a Star Force collection.
2 Star Force RUclips videos in a day? My birthday must've come early- It makes me so happy to see SF get the recognition like this since I grew up with it and it helped me grow and develop as a person
@@larrychilders6599 Oh, so you're suggesting an "And I Must Scream" scenario? ... Dark. At least JunkMan.EXE had the dignity of passing away on his terms.
@@larrychilders6599 I remind people of stuff like this when I hear, “mega man games aren’t dark”every mega man series has somewhat dark undertones when you read into it’s lore. But Net Navis probably where changed to be EM-beings with the way they are used in game though.
19:36 I can't really relate because I went to special ed private schools for middle school. One of them, a small, low-budget one even had a food truck show up at lunch because there was no cafeteria while by contrast, another, bigger one had a home ec class where I learned how to make the most USAmerican recipe: The cheeseburger lol. "You see Mr. Kaiba, it's the added dairy that makes it _truly_ American."
With how the MegaMan Battle Network franchise was able to get a Legacy Collection released on multiple consoles, this does make me wonder if Star Force will receive a Legacy Collection as well.
Luna is my absolute favorite character in the entirety of MegaMan. She's so misunderstood and I relate to her arc of never being enough to her parents so much. Its a shame we never got SF4 but at least we have the MMSF Endwave fangame which is the closest we'll get.
Amazing video. Starforce is easily my favorite Megaman series and the first game is my favorite game of all time. It’s got flaws but the story it tells was super impactful for me when I was younger. Mental illness being tackled in a game like this is really cool, and every arc was really great with character building and all that. My favorites are Sonia’s arc and Gemini’s arc. Sonia is my favorite character, and I just loved her interactions with Geo. I could go on and on about what I love about the series but yeah, it’s omega underrated and I’m glad it’s been getting looked at again after so many years.
while battle network will always hold a special place in my heart, i cant deny starforce did do something interesting to continue the spirit while mixing it up. I do prefer the more 2D style of MMBN but i can most certainly appreciate the change in perspective and again they were still fun solid games
It breaks my heart that this game is pretty much all but forgotten about. I remember vividly playing all the handheld megamans and loved how similar star force was to battlenetwork. Felt like a soul successor to it that just didn't get quite the same love battle network did.
At first I was freaking out that I somehow missed a compilation remake like Battle Network 5's Double Team DS when you talked about Starforce DX. And then I found out it is a mod for a DS emulated version. Also, the reason for the "lack of popularity" for the Boktai series at 35:17 is due to a second, more deadly aspect. One of the main gimmicks of the Boktai series is that the MC's gun is recharged with ACTUAL sunlight from the real world via solar sensors that detect the bright lights. Problem is, this is effectively making players go outside to get fried by summer heat, as most normal lights cannot fool the sensors. This caused major health problems like heatstroke and killed a huge chunk of potential playtime, resulting in its decline.
I've spent the better half of this year marathoning the BN and SF series, and man, what an amazing experience! It is so great to see so much content discussing these series even now, they are just so awesome!!!!
same..i also start marathon BN this year..after that i only start to play SF for my first time..to my surprise, i really like Geo development througout the stories..we can see Geo having several breakdown and depression several time, and see how he rise up back again. to my suprise, SF3 stories is really-really good, i think surpass BN stories in my opinion. SF3 ends perfectly
how did you go about finding the starforce 3 games? i have been keeping an eye out for a pal or even US copy of red joker for at least 2 or so years now but havent come by it anywhere. i did manage to get a sealed copy of black ace though so feel like i got lucky with that.
I was really lucky that I knew someone willing to trade an extra copy of black ace for his copy of red joker. Idk why they’re so unreasonably expensive but you can find them on eBay for sure
Finally! You're talking about one of my favorite Megaman series! Excellent video! It's a damn shame that it was overshadowed by BN and to see some BN fans simply call SF "BN in 3D" is a massive disservice to the game. I can't wait to see you get to MMSF3👍
These games were hard for me but I absolutely loved them. They were my Pokemon. Thanks for sharing about the DX patch, didn't know about that. Maybe I'm due for a replay
Growing up, my dad gave me a flash cart with every ds game on it so iv'e played a majority of the systems library. When I say Megaman Starforce 1 was my favorite right next to pokemon Heartgold and New super mario bros, it's no small feat.
Star Force 1 has to be my favorite Megaman game, period. I really love the Zero games but Star Force still impresses me with how it handles its character arcs. It can be cheesy at times and I understand if that + the chunky DS graphics aren't everyone's cup of tea, but SF deserves more love.
Star Force's story and characters were definitely more compelling to me than BN. Side-note, while it keeps the video length a bit shorter, the speed at which you talk can make it a bit hard for my slow self to follow. Very much liking the series and appreciating bn and sf being given such a spotlight
As a fan of the Star Force series... IVE NEVER HEARD OF DX. I **HAVE** TO PLAY IT. ALSO, i really loved the video, its not everyday you get to watch a video talking about this amazing series!
I will tell you, as someone who’s played all three, replayed them many times, and even completed it 100% on 2 of the 3. All are amazing, have amazing stories/lessons, and it’s just fun!!! Great video and thanks for sharing the love of this game!
Much love to you for making this series! I’ve never been super huge on MegaMan but I played all three of the games in these series and absolutely LOVED it and think back on it fondly… the reviews on these games were painful when I enjoyed each game so much.
Man, I LOVED your batle network videos. They made me remember the starforce games, how I liked the first but never beat he second. In fact, living in Europe, we never even recieved the third installment, so I always thought "is it worth playing the second without playing the third?". Thanks to your videos, went and purchased from second hand the first and second installments, beating the first in three days hahaha. I also got the third one, although it's a fake cartridge, so I can say I physically have every starforce game. I still have to start the third, but I'm thrilling to do so. I love to finally see this video. I prefer each game separatley for you to speak all you can of each one. Like that, I can as well try to beat the third game before you review it.
Amazing Video Moongerino, doing a good job as always. This was a good watch, and it is lovely to see one of my favorite games of all time covered, looking forward to the SF2 and 3 videos as well. Cheers!
Starforce is one of my favorite games of all time. All 3 of them are incredible and got me through my childhood! It makes me smile to see this video, because it's nice to know there's people that love this game just like I do
Star Force is a fantastic series! And even though a video compilation would have its advantages, since there are only 3 games, I think one video for each is better.
Starforce was what got me into Megaman and I see it for what it was, as a standalone that couldn't be compared. I've seen it said once that due to the story and mechanics evolving too quickly it failed to stay for the long future and in a way I agree. However if there were someone to put the effort into reviving this particular part of the franchise I would wholeheartedly give my financial support.
@@mattwo7 That's the thing, though. A critic shouldn't aim to simply show an opinion. Bias pertains to favoritism, and a good analysis bases itself on logic and theory

I just started zx and am sad i passed it up when it was new now. Tbh those old reviews colored my opinion, even if i did play BN and SF a lot. Reviewers were so bad
The StarForce games are some of the best I've ever played and had a massive impact on my life. My first and longest used oc is still named Geo Stelar xD 12 years strong. Me and my friend bonded so much over these games. I still remember every one i had. The EB Games exclusive Dragon edition for the first, The Ninja/Zerker for the second, and Red Ace. Genuinely amazing series, great story, high stakes, amazing side Characters, awesome transformations and villains, and each game feels fresh and innovate as they go while still feeling familiar. Thank you for bringing more eyes to it!!!
The 200 year timeline gap is something that I don’t think gets enough appreciation. It is so COOL to see how the technological advancements of scientists like Lan Hikari in 200X are referenced in Starforce 200 years later. Games like these helped to turn me into an overall optimist for humanity from an early age. Imagine how much more advanced we could possibly be in the 2200s! Technology is exponentially evolving (much faster than the last century and even the last decade). We will surely have our own set of problems in the future, but hopefully we’ll put this increasingly advancing technology to good use. Regardless, our species is in for some interesting times.
Honestly these games, the battle network games and weird enough Digimon World 3 kinda hold the same spot of love in my brain all weirdly similar to Pokemon games that really REALLY do their own thing and honestly make themselves much, much more fun.
You have no idea how happy I am, reaching the end of this video only to realize that it came out several months ago and you've already uploaded a sequel! This game series (including BN) was a larger part of my childhood then I would like to admit, thank you for covering it
It is a crime that Starforce got negative reviews from people who don't even know what they dislike about it. I now see it was a miracle it even had 3 games at the time, and I am glad it did
this game was so underrated for no reason. i remember playing megaman starforce pegasus, and instantly became in love with this rebirth series following up with starforce 2, and finally red joker. seeing this on my timeline just brought back so much nostalgia and im so happy to see how left some sort of legacy to the community
Im so happy ive been seeing more people starting to talk about the starforce series it’s my favorite series of all time and it’s really a shame that it got canceled at it’s peak the concept for the 4th installment sounded like it would’ve continued the streak of each installment getting better after another but it’s great that it’s slowly coming back from the grave now that it’s starting to get more talked about just hope it can spread even further
The star force games got me hooked fir hours on end as a young preteen i think o_o or kid idk dude im old now 😂. Anyways starforce is Epic and so refreshing i wish they kept going with it because the characters are so likable and battle system is mawh♡

RIP pets I remember getting an artbook for this game series and I showed some characters one of my friends she looked and at Luna and asked me who she was and I told her that's Luna she immediately went that's my favorite character and I asked her why? She said because the drill hair
I'm biased towards the Starforce games over the BN, but I remember that a very hype moment I have was after playing BN thinking that the little moments where the protagonist merge with the navis were the coolest (because you know, standing staring at the evil mafia dude while the fight happens online may not be as excited as actually fighting it), so the fact that this happens in this game with Geo and Omega was the perfect starting point (And also yes, I love when main characters have struggles like that, %100)
I absolutely adore Star Force, I'm glad to know people value it's story as much as I do, I still love Battle Network but SF really just struck a nerve in my preteen self and I think it legitimately made me a more empathetic person. The battle system is simplified but sometimes, i honestly prefer it to BN, in 3 especially, it can be so flashy and fast and I love it
I like calling this Mega Man "Omegaman/War Rockman" to set him apart from the other Mega Men. It might make sense for a "War Rock" to merge into "Rockman" but "Omega-Xis" merging to form "Mega Man"? Makes no sense! Also Star Force was the end of an era for Mega Man as a whole and aside from Over-1 (who hardly counts because Capcom wants us to forget he existed, not to mention he never became a Mega Man, he's stuck as a Rockman), he's the last Mega Man to exist.
i know im a few days late but thanks so much for pumping out sm content about these lesser talked about games, especially with TWEWY and these megaman games ;-; !! I haven't really played them, but my brothers have, and whenever you upload these types of videos, they're always over the moon!! your videos overall are just a pleasure to watch :DD have a nice day
Star Force 1 was a mostly on point game for such an experimental title. It has less of the random encounter grind of BN, a much more immediately impactful story, and the 3D stuff was great on the DS of all things. I think if Capcom just didn't hold back at the very last moment on some of the heavier talking points, it would have a stronger cult following. Star Force 3 is a good send-off for the series, but I can't stop the feeling that Star Force 2 is more valuable for setting up 3 than anything within the game itself. It'll never happen, but I still wish for an SF4 with improved features. Reworked Brother Bands/NaviCust, slightly more complex chip selection, and a plot following a bad end of SF3 with some serious post-apoc theming.
I played the Star Force games and loved them as much as I love the Battle Network series. Your video gave new perspective to this series and really filled me on things about I was never even aware of. Excellent work, man!
Star force 2 is my personal favorite when it comes to story among all the franchise (maybe because i like sonia) so I'll probably look forward for the next vid
That's odd if you come from SF1. Sonia has her whole "I quit/my music is my own" and then when you see her in SF2 she's doing the exact opposite from what her quest was about. Also, SF2 dumps all the character development and just resets them. It's the main reason SF2 is disliked compared to SF1 or SF3.
@@nicodalusong149 but isn't it sf 2 the part where harp note fight alongside with mega? Or was it sf 1 it's been years since i last played sf series my memory is sort of blurry
DUDE. Starforce is my second favorite mega man series! It is so nice to see this series get covered over classic and x being covered for the millionth time, this series means a lot to me for its plot and characters and I really hope you enjoy 3 since its gameplay is peak and has such a nice ending. I also appreciate you covering the fact the mega man burn out, even if it was brief. I don’t think enough people talk or acknowledge why mega man disappeared in the 2010s due to that, and it’s still such a shame all the mm series that weren’t classic or x fell into obscurity since they really pushed the series creativity. But, its also heartwarming to see people still be fans of these games, especially the RPGs! They still aren’t even re-released yet-capcom please re-release them, you acknowledged Zero and ZX you can acknowledge the RPGs and legends when BN fans have been vocal lately-yet people STILL are so passionate about them and it warms me heart. It makes me so glad that even if it’s a small group compared to classic and x, people will always love the other mega man series. Ok mushy stuff aside ahaha this review is great and I can’t wait for the others, especially 3 because I feel a lot of people turned it down because of how 2 was.
I do feel like Star Force is very underrated in terms of Mega Man series. For me, it was the first Mega Man I experienced! Specifically Star Force 3: Black Ace version was first Mega Man game (and the first RPG) I've played and to this day, it's a game that's been near and dear to my heart!
I love seeing any starforce content especially here in 2021. Really miss this series fondly and just recently finished replaying MMSF3. Such a shame that 4 was dropped during development - those reviews definitely weren’t fair!
I actually still have my original copy of MMSF, never knew there was a DX version. When they game first dropped I bought myself Leo, my younger brother Dragon (who was also my MMBN buddy for practically the entire series), and my girlfriend at the time Pegasus. We all had a blast going through the game together to see how each of us fought each boss our own way with our own decks. StarForce is definitely a favorite of mines with many fond memories.
@@DenizenXtra Starforce is the series low point but SF2 is more battle focused with all the random encounters and even more bosses with a grand post game compared to the first game. BN4 introduces cool mechanics such as Soul Unison, more chips and a grand post game but the post game is barred behind multiple play throughs to the point where the mediocre plot becomes grating and repetitive. Wether the fights in BN4 are even good is debatable. In terms of story, BN4’s is an awful tuorny arc, SF2 attempts to tell a compelling story, despite turning into a braindead religious joke at the end of main story. SF2 made attempts at a real story, and had a more accessible post game and also introduced extra mechanics with it’s star cards, form stacking and extra lore in the form of Lan’s diary I got bored so I thought I’d type this.

3D*
Starforce would be the last Megaman series for Capcom to release.
now megaman star force needs a collection!
I agree starforce is one of my favorites especially pegasus version
Fun fact: either in the beta for full games code there are assets of a 3d mega man.exe and a reimagined acdc town which could mean it started off as BN 7
Actually, due to the existence of the crossover event, it may have did a little more with it allowing you to visit ACDC via Wave world, time hole.
Those assets are found in the full game, they are 3D assets of the main characters of battle network and i believe a small 3D recreation of the main town
I remember seeing concept art for patch and older characters from battle network and a yellow girl character that did look suspiciously similar to harp note.
Oh God that would have been way better.
Considering there are only two MegaMan games with 7 in the title, I can only imagine whether it would've been a case of it taking three months to develop, or end up being treated like the devil by the fanbase.
Starforce is my first and my favourite megaman game that i found by a complete accident :)
A happy accident, that is for sure =D
Thats how into the game too by total accident it looked cool so i bought the game at gamestop back in 2008 and its still one of my favorite games of all time :)
Same dude. I'm still coming up with character ideas for this game
Same here, picked up starforce Leo from a discount bin, couldn't live without finishing the series, one of my favorites on DS alltime
@@noahbee4290 Cool! looking forward to seeing your ideas
What I loved about Starforce is how much each one improves on the last. BN was great, but the improvements were way less consistent.
Gameplay wise I agree, but one had the beat story. Two went into Saturday morning cartoon a bit too much for my taste, although I do enjoy the twists and turns of the second half. Three also has similar problems, with it mostly being used to tie up the loose ends of the story.
thats not true at all
Geo (and Omega) was my Megaman.

Lunar Knights is a great example of taking a cool series and utterly ruining the reboot
I find it amusing that the idea of "Battle Network going henshin" already had its roots within the BN anime
Mega Man from the very beginning had tokusatsu shows (specifically Kamen Rider and Ninja Captor) as parts of its DNA. It's just more obvious is BN and SF.

That ZX advent end credit cliffhanger tho T_T
I think they finally got the gameplay right with Starforce3. It's pretty much on par with the best BN
Fun fact about this series, there is one doujin artist still making more doujins of this series.... I'm just amazed after the anime has finished.

That would be awesome but kinda not so good because they met already
@@agentdiamond4728 yea but isnt that less of a Canon arc? The real meeting happened in Operate Star Force, apparently it was supposedly a bridge for SF4 because Geo teams up with Lan's descendant.
I hope that since more attention is being brought to Battle Network and Star Force we get a remake or successor, especially since 11 wasn't too long ago
YES FINALLY STARFORCE. Never played these games so a retrospective is a perfect way to experience them
This is the best video related to Mega Man Star Force on RUclips, excellent job.
Bob reminded me of detective gumshoe from Ace attorney a bit
Maybe it was intentional, given they're both Capcom properties.
That's because they're based on Inspector Zenigata. The short-lived Mega Man Archie comic also has another Zenigata expy. Looker from Pokemon also falls into this category.

Sonia supremacy! Best girl of Megaman Starforce! :3
This caused major health problems like heatstroke and killed a huge chunk of potential playtime, resulting in its decline.
honestly, it would have been more preferred to have the game get in game sun energy instead of trying to get one via the sensor.

The battle system is simplified but sometimes, i honestly prefer it to BN, in 3 especially, it can be so flashy and fast and I love it
It’s good to see this game get the recognition that it deserves
Idc what anyone says this series is def on of my fav megamans i loved these games man
I like calling this Mega Man "Omegaman/War Rockman" to set him apart from the other Mega Men.
Should be Omega man

Shit, me too man.

I always forget about Star force and then get happy memories when someone reminds me of it. Was my first megman
Okay. I was a BN die-hard and I got the first StarForce, but never followed up on the following two.
But BN4 being reviewed better than SF1?
BULLSHIT.
StarForce 2 is this series' version of BN4
@@DenizenXtra But is it as bad as BN4 tho?
@@samirjohnson4524 lol no. BN4 wishes
SF2 made attempts at a real story, and had a more accessible post game and also introduced extra mechanics with it’s star cards, form stacking and extra lore in the form of Lan’s diary
I got bored so I thought I’d type this.
@@ota3933 I appreciate the wall of text. If was a good read. I definitely agree with everything u just said
A great video as always man. I find it funny that you and another youtuber named “MangaKamen” uploaded a video about Starforce on the same day. You go over the gameplay but he goes over the themes of the story. It was a really cool coincidence and both videos complement each other nicely
