This is the first game series that I have finished (all three and one cross-over game) back when I was in junior high school. I'm now a working adult barely surviving but listening to this makes me feel young again.

the music in itself is relaxing, but it still somewhat depressing. I swear, sometimes when I hear this music, it makes me want to cry

Fucking hell. Shooting Star has always held a special place in my heart since the first time I heard it, it's just so goddamn *triumphant* while also managing to evoke the journey that we had to take to get here. I've never heard anybody do it justice like this, though. Here's to plenty of great songs in the future.
Megaman SF at the start was this unrefined gem, good story but gameplay needed some polish (it has elements of BN but it was different).
SF2 tried to relax for a bit for most of the story only to get more serious at the end + small gameplay improvements/experiments. SF3 is the gem that we all wanted, amazing story complimented with a refined game system. SF4 is the Crown that we never had the opportunity to insert the gem onto.
I remember in college, I felt depressed for a day when news about SF4 came out. But, perhaps it's better this way, Geo had his happy ending and we had an awesome game. SF4 could have been a train wreck that could have ruined his story arc and world building of the series.
There was a fanmade version of the 1st that combined the 3 satelites into one game, and even offered harder difficulty for experienced players. Megaman Starforce DX from what I remember.
I originally had started with Starforce 2, and while some had problems with it, I found its infuriating challenges, as such. Proper punishing gameovers if you didn't know what you were doing, unless you saved after every encounter you had, as usually you wound up sent back to your last save if you messed up bad enough. I, having noone to play with and have brothers in the game, still found it to be a great experience. Of course, Starforce 3 was definitely the crown jewel of the triad, it having the most attention as it was the finale, rather fitting since Battle Network 6 did the same, going all in on everything.
My biggest driving influence I'd say is the absolute banger songs that came from the entire series as a whole. Soon we will have Battle Network for switch, netbattles are gonna be a thing again, and I can only guess whats next after that. Considering they redid the Zero/Zx series, I can only imagine what they will do to polish the Starforce titles let alone battle network.

This was my FIRST DS game MMSF: Pegasus. I grabbed it by mistake instead of pimemon like I wanted and I do not regret that mistake. This game got me through a lot in my childhood, and it does now too. The music will always be emotional and memorable. I wish I could forget the story and play it like it was new again, especially SF3. The SF games give me hope in depressionand anxiety, because that's what they are about overcoming.

This brought me to tears. I am determined to reach my dreams, I will continue to never give up. We got this, I believe in this network, the battle network. I have hope for the future, for everyone. Focus on the network that is keeping you alive and you will continue to improve and become stronger. Believe in the network.

ok let me say something out of my chest. the frist time i know frozenith was becasue of megaman his hycintho resielience. it was shooting star that was my first video. i loved it so much. starforce was my favorite megaman game and great song.

I still hold the first game dear. It was a true adventure and growth of character by the end.
Indeed I managed to get the entire trilogy and I also hold this series very dear I truly grew to love the growth of Geo/Subaru throughout the saga.
I agree as well those games introduced me to the Megaman Franchise and I really wanted to get the third but haven't been able to find a cheap copy online.

I love this remix/rendition, many remixes/renditions makes notes linger and it changes the entire feel, this retains the snappiness of the original soundfont.
The story for the gameplay was always so interesting. The anime movie gave me serious feels back in the day. This song brings em back🥺

This feels a lot like SF5's menu theme, don't remember which one it is. All the same, Starforce has always had a really good theme that set that interstellar narrative.
