The very air around them ignited, hotter than the flames of hell, as Ragnarok began to breach the atmosphere. Before him stood the man responsible for over a century of suffering, taunting him with the fact that he was a human - and as such, as a Reploid, he wasn't supposed to harm him.
But before Zero stood no man, but a monster in the guise of a human...and more importantly, *the enemy.*
The voices added give so much character to this already epic song, hearing Ciel scream "Zero" always breaks my poor little heart ;-;
It's always tough to let the ones you love dearly go. Ciel already witnessed a blooming love cut short in the very same game. Zero' final words, "Ciel, believe in me!!" were the final straw in breaking her.

I recently did my first hard mode playthrough, and ended up having to tank the laser deliberately. Your basic saber slash deals so little damage and Weil's core is just barely out of the way of the charged Z-knuckle, so it's very likely that you'll just plain run out of time if Weil feels particularly uncooperative at the moment. The only idea I could come up with to ensure that I had a fighting chance no matter what was to just take the laser head-on while slashing at his unprotected core. Luckily, there's an NPC early on that gives clear hints on what parts you need to make an S-crystal, so running out of health isn't much of a concern even if you're going in without any outside assistance like myself. I guess it's oddly fitting that the player would need to throw all caution to the wind with no regard for their own survival to win Zero's final fight.
It's never too late for a Zero/ZX anime. Come on Capcom, what are you doing? You're sitting on a gold mine.

@@Crow_Rising Personally I'd prefer the anime starts with X. That's where Zero is introduced after all. Not to mention it would add to the twist of "X" becoming a villain in the Zero games.
@@100organicfreshmemes5 There's certainly plenty of potential for an X portion, but the main thing that worries me is that X technically doesn't have an ending. If more X series games end up coming out some day, they won't make it into an anime that was produced and released before then.
The only solution I can think of is to do a new storyline inspired by the games but also with creative freedom in manga form, and then base the anime on the manga. Something like the canceled Mega Man Archie series but as a manga instead of a comic. This way the series could have its own conclusion to the X timeframe without having to worry about what the games are up to should they ever continue the series some day.
@@Crow_Rising Yeah of course it'd need to take some creative liberties. The X series wasn't a whole lot better than the classic games story-wise so I wouldn't mind it differing quite a bit.
Ya know, Zero didn't die to his final enemy. He died to the re-entry and impact. In the end, it took a planet to put Zero down permanently. Even then, he is reformed into a bio-metal, which is then lost to time by the Legends era.
I refuse to believe that Legends is part of the main timeline.

@@kevdoesstuff7435 idk I'd say ZX Advent's ending teases the eventually outcome of the Legends games plus the ZX games already setup the fact that Humans and Reploids have already become almost entirely similar by that point in 25XX, so it makes sense that the Carbons would be the next natural next step in evolution by the time the Legends games role around

This one hits close to home, makes me remember the aftermath of the fight and how I felt knowing that Zero's story was at an end
I do believe they ended it for some reason. My brother found out why years ago for the reason. Would have liked for them to make 1 last one and end it with more clarity. I would love to put 100 percent of my into the MMZ 5 game I've been sketching/working on for a lil bit. However I needed to put my efforts into something that would help pay the bills and hopefully get a team of coders to help as I got tooo much on my plate rn. Only time will tell how this will end. Hopefully if all goes well u will be seeing it on steam with songs from frozenith in it. It's definitely another large project 😅

This "Falling Down" just hits me so much in my Feelings, everytime i hear Ciel Scream for Zero it makes me wanna cry, but overall this is such a good album! And i would recommend to anyone to give it a listen.

I saw the full album, and when I heard the first bits of Japanese dialogue I knew it would culminate in that absolutely legendary, bone-chilling scream from Rie Tanaka. I wish the Zero games had been given proper voice acting - even if it was just Japanese. That would have been amazing at the very end.
Of course, that's not even talking about the song itself. I love how it keeps just building and building on itself - each time the Japanese drama tracks play, the music gets more and more intense and dramatic, culminating in an absolutely gorgeous remix by the halfway point. If not for the fact the song is four minutes long, it actually kinda references the fact the fight itself is an increasingly more stressful mission as the time ticks closer and closer to the point where Ragnarok's descent can't be stopped - meaning by the end Zero is pulling out every trick he has.
It's like a musical journey.
And the way it ends... yeesh... That's probably meant to lead into the final themes, with the 'rain' acting as the falling pieces of Ragnarok.
This is simply a masterpiece. Man. I love it.

In the end ,Ciel and Zero speeches if i understand correctly Ciel asking- can Reploids sense love or something, Zero answer that if reploids defending someone who close to them, then its meaning love, Ciel smiles and thank for answer

This is the best interpretation of this song, it transmits to your heart, the epic and tense battle between a genocide monster and the last hope of world, at the same time, transmits Ciel's fellings about zero, her worried heart, and shows how sad a goodbye can be.

Es la mejor versión de falling down que existe en todo internet, esa parte extendida de la canción suena tan bien, otras versiones suenan como si fuera otro soundtrack pero este encaja tan bien incluso el final dónde es el mismo soundtrack solo que más suave dando a entender el final de la guerra y la esperanza que dió Zero al dar su vida, en esencia es arte puro, mil felicidades bro esto es increíble
