+HaloFan11 He finally understood his fight after all. After 300 years he finally understood, its a pity that he understood only moments before his Permanently demise
There’s so much story tucked away in between each Megaman series that would be ripe for anime adaption. There’s a lot of themes to explore too: humanity, morality, philosophy, history, and even politics. The audio dramas for the Zero series explore stuff that literally never made it into the games, but flesh out the characters so much. With how series like The Last of Us turned out on TV, why not Megaman as well?
"You have 2 minutes to save the world. If you fail you die. If you succeed? You die, but the enemy dies too." Read this quote on another vid x3 its too cool
I never believed in justice and I don't recall ever calling myself a hero. I have always only fought for the friends I believe in. I will not hesitate. If an enemy appears in front of me, I WILL destroy it! - Zero
It also would've been the perfect ending for the series in general, honestly. ZX and Legends are great but nothing after the Weil fight really came close to being as climactic.
"Even robots that think for themselves will never be anything more than tools! But with unstoppable power! Insurmountable speed! It's only when we build robots with the power to outdo humans... that people will truly accept robots for what they are!" -Dr. Wily, Mega Man 11 Damn, this line hits hard
@@dragmundis, And yet, Zero fulfilled Light's wish for robots and humans to truly live together... Guess both Wily and Light got what they both were each after in the end...
@@jouheikisaragi6075 For once Dr. Wily at least one upped Light, unlike how most fans believed. Wily didn't all want to win against Light through destruction but to win against him through his creations doing something better and benefitting mankind.
This REALLY sounds like a *final* fight, with Zero saving the world from what was essentially a reincarnation of his own father. Dr. Wily created him to be the ultimate destroyer, the one to end the world, yet he ended up being humanity's savior...what a fitting finale for the series and for the character.
Think about the beautiful parallels between Zero and Mega Man. Mega Man was intended to be a simple housekeeping robot. His sense of justice propelled him to become more than this, and he became a real hero. By defying his maker's original intent, he saved the world. Zero was intended to be a killing machine, meant to destroy the world. But through the people he met - X, Iris, Ciel - he found a new purpose, and a new reason to fight. He went directly against his maker's intent and in doing so saved the world countless times. Whether he considered himself one or not, he was a hero. It tells a beauitiful message throughout the series, echoed in the stories, the gameplay, and even the minor bits of dialogue and lore. Your potential is limitless.
Wily is harmless when compared to Weil. He never really meant any harm, all he wanted was attention and recognition. He did not hate humanity nor took joy in enslaving or killing anyone. Weil is the opposite. I think Wily would be very proud of what Zero did, as his son got all the recognition and respect he was never able to get, saving mankind in the end.
I love how the story wraps up with zero first defeating someone who he was built to be originally, omega, and then a "reincarnation" of the person who wanted him to be that way in the first place. pure thematic gold
I think even Dr. Wily would be disgusted at Weil, he might have been the villain, but he's not malice incarnate who loathes its own species, he would be proud of what Zero did by putting down such a disgusting creature and saving mankind.
let's recap the shit that Zero has been through in the zero series. he get's woken up 100 years after going to sleep, and get's back to being a badass. get's thrown into another war. defeats literal armies of enemies, defeats the four guardians and copy X, defeating Neo Arcadia. MMZ2 Zero slays more shit, he get's brought back to the resistance base and fights Neo Arcadia again. then he watches his best friend die, then defeats a being with the power to destroy the world. MMZ3 kills more shit fights Omega. he is forced to destroy his Original body in order to save the world. then in MMZ4 he has to deal with Ragnarok. then this, Zero's Final Fight to the finish against the person who has created centuries of war and despair. some people say Goku is the Shit, some others say Naruto is the shit, none of them is better than zero. that is all

I think Zero is dead. It makes perfect sense, as much as I don't want Zero to be dead. But Megaman Zero is a good series, and Zero's death is a great way to end the series, ESPECIALLY if his death is as great as it was (X5, you just let them die). And his death is the SINGLE MOST MEMORABLE MOMENTS IN VIDEO GAME HISTORY!
zero is not dead if you have seen the shadow in the son after the 4endind credits plus there is a fan made series capcom approved to release it is for pc downloading it's called megaman mavericks there's is three releases number 3 is my fav. megaman mavericks 3 Zero's revenge zero says he barely survived Ragnarok so no zero is not dead
Galen McDaniel 1. The shadow could very well be someone looking over the wreckage after Ragnarok fell apart. 2. That's a fan made game. Give me evidence that Capcom approved it to be canon, and I'll give that one to you. 3. Therefore, Zero could very well be dead. :(
It was Zero I'm an Nintendo, Capcom and EA Games official Member so I must know these things I became a official Member last year at my birthday so it's all good. It was a gift of mine very precious to me I put the documents in a picture frame and hung them to my bed room wall
I don’t know the context in which this plays but god does it make me feel like im going to cry. It’s such a huge, climatic punch to the gut. It’s like a final cry, the Guitar literally wailing out as you push beyond what your limits are, It’s not going to end well for you but that doesn’t matter. All that matters is the enemy is dealt with and boy if that means losing your own life then you better be ready to Die.
The moment of self-sacrifice, the moment of Zero's true self, his pure emotions an wish to save everyone down there, on the earth..... This is the death of the true m**herf***ing warrior!
Zero: Hang on, this is really good, let me listen to just one loop of it. Weil: ...Sure. -before one loop is done, the colony crashes into the earth and everyone dies-
Zero has carried a very heavy burden for years. Had a virus that caused long-term damage to the world and himself, died twice, had to kill his own friends and kill his girlfriend, fought in Elf wars, was woken up after 100 years later in a time of extermination, almost experienced the 2nd Elf wars discovered, he was a copy, lost his long time friend and, in the end, died as a maverick. 100 years before, he did all that for the illusional concept of justice and peace. Zero didnt found what he was fighting for, he just had enough.
Japan had the foundation for one with the megaman zero commercials that only aired in Japan, fully animated, it was awsome, so maybe we could get one one day
Zero: "I never cared about justice, and I don't recall ever calling myself a hero... I have always only fought for the people I believe in. I won't hesitate... if an enemy appears in front of me, I will destroy it!" Ciel: "Zero... ZERO!" Zero: "Ciel... believe in me." Ciel: *"ZEROOOOOOOOO!!!!"* Dr. Weil: "I am an endless nightmare!" *WARNING*
I think this theme is one of the best Megaman boss themes ever, the Sorrow, Anger, determination, and regret that was in Zero himself. He let it all out and destroyed Wiel with it, This theme perfectly fits the emotions for the fight, and Zero's last words, it's just like Zero, never go down without a fight, and even kill himself to save humanity and the last bit of nature, it shows that Zero was a true hero, and more of a human then Wiel. and yes, I know he's a reploid.
Perfect final boss music for a Perfect final boss for a Perfect final stage for a Perfect final quote for a Perfect final MMZ game. it's just perfect...
Diogo Ayres I don't find the final boss to be terribly perfect. There's one major flaw: If you give your FB a short timer, do NOT make it invincible for long periods of time.
While we may never see him again, I REFUSE to believe Zero perished. He's come back after worse. Hell, he's kept fighting with only his head, torso and ONE DAMN ARM!!! Zero lives... LONG LIVE ZERO!
I never cared about justice, and I don't recall ever calling myself a hero... I have always fought for the people I believe in. I won't hesitate... If an ennemy appear in front of me I will destroy it ! Ciel... Believe in me ! Spoken like a true badass, Zero an epic character until the very end.
"I never cared about justice! I don't recall ever calling myself a hero! I always fought for the people I believed in! I won't hesitate... If an enemy appears in front of me, I WILL DESTROY IT!!! Ciel...Believe in me!!!"
This was an amazing battle and what an epic way to close the long fight between Dr.Weil and Zero. You even had only 2 minutes to do so or Ragnarok would explode leaving Zero behind and making Dr.Weil's plan succeded.
I never cared about justice, and I don't recall ever calling myself a hero... I have always only fought for the people I believe in. I won't hesitate... If an enemy appears in front of me, I will destroy it!
My first time playing this game was literally just months ago but Zero 4 has probably my favorite final boss battle along with the greatest sendoff to a character I've ever seen in video games. Some of the greatest narrative excellence in the industry found in a series that isn't even known for good writing, and it doesn't sacrifice top shelf gameplay for it either. Made even more impactful by the fact that I marathoned every game leading up to it in order. Kino
I come again to recommend everyone who likes Mega Man Zero to play the Blaster Master Zero trilogy, Inti did a fun as fuck game with an absolutely phenomenal storyline with a legendary final boss and ending AGAIN!
There was an epic video of someone playing the final stage and the two Weil fights with the remastered music playing in the background and the japanese voice acting from the Audio Drama and X series sound effects, he had this awesome editing where the moment Zero says "i won't hesitate" this song would start playing but i can't find that video anymore and it makes me really sad because his editing was amazing along his playing skills. Anyone here can find it or know what i'm talking about?
@@OverlordAbraxas whatever the reason, he made another channel but its a bit hard to find and i can't post links. search "remastered arrange ver megaman zero 4 " and it should be from a channel called "ブレイズチャンネル[Blaze Channel]" search his vids and you'll find the one with this song, its the final stage - ragnarok core
@@arkan5000 He did it. I just watched it again, as I replayed Rockman Zero. The entire series. As a kid, I couldn't understand why? Now, I get why Zero had to do it, and how dark Rockman is actually in contrast of what everyone assume. It's definitely not kiddy. It's definitely like a Resident Evil level of storyline and action.
Weil distorted the very meaning of what justice meant or what it meant to be labeled as an irregular (maverick). In Zero's final moments, his centuries old question was answered. "I've finally come to understand what I'm fighting for. It's not for my justice or your justice, but for those who believe in me. If any enemy threatens those I believe in... I WILL destroy it."
I would say that this tune, with the Battle, and the meanings behind the battle, the feelings put into it, really make it a very fitting end for Zero. Makes you feel he died ot just a heroic death, but an epic manly way. Stabbing a giant monstrosity in the face while sacrificing his chance to escape atmospheric reentry
It was the most badass way to go, sacrificing yourself to stop armageddon knowing full well you're not gonna make it, but if you don't EVERYONE dies...the fact that the battle has a timer is insane and REALLY gets the adrenaline rushing.
As of this comment, I'm getting ready to face off against Weil in MMZ4 in the Zero/ZX Collection and I plan to make him pay and send him straight to hell for all the manipulation, chaos and genocide he perpetrated. Times up old man.
You have faced many challenges. You destroyed a evil clone of your best friend. You then we're betrayed by close allies and watched your best friend die. You then learned that you were not the original and nothing more than a clone. Now you finally face the one man behind all of your pain and suffering. It's time to end this!
Plus you watched your friend’s children die. The brother of your dead girlfriend is remembered as an evil monster and a Phoenix robot likes to rub that in your face. The enemy could be ANYWHERE.
@shadowniczero I do agree that Zero's death was kind of a bummer. Although it's great to see Zero showing his true colors (saying he isn't a hero, but contradictingly doing what he isn't saying he is, but sacrificing himself like he always does), but you have to remember that his honor was on the line. Weil called his ass out ("Do you have it in you to defeat me?"), Zero responded with those famous words, and thus set in motion the scene that changed the Megaman series, forever...
A Hero's battle theme.
Zero would disagree with you. Remember, he doesn't consider himself a hero.

what the hell is AC6? Animal Crossing 6
Weil: I am the Devil!
Zero: My creator was Crazier than you!
2021, i still have goosebumps every time that i hear this.
Yeah
So true
About to be 2023 my man.
Best MM final boss ever
Galen McDaniel Lucky you. And okay, point 1 is invalid.
whatever makes you happy i don't care and yes it is valid
I don’t know the context in which this plays but god does it make me feel like im going to cry. It’s such a huge, climatic punch to the gut.
It’s like a final cry, the Guitar literally wailing out as you push beyond what your limits are, It’s not going to end well for you but that doesn’t matter. All that matters is the enemy is dealt with and boy if that means losing your own life then you better be ready to Die.
That's pretty accurate to the actual context
I won't spoil it but I'll just say this.
Retribution.
A destiny fulfilled.
Everything goes back to Zero.
The melody wails with sadness.the orchestra and chorus sound epic but also forboding. This is Zero's final boss
I won a ranked game just as this theme was ending.
does quite fit with a nexus / ancient / [whatever game you were playing and the objective was] exploding
It sounds like the guitar is screaming. Chilling.
Bring an end to the Endless.
Fight, Zero.
*For Everlasting Peace.*
Ironic how Weil shouts “I am the devil” before the fight and Omega says “I am the messiah” before his.
Not many boss battles have matched the epicness of this one, and non have surpassed. The build up music everything about it was just so well done.
Giant nerd Is your picture a really derpy Roy Mustang? I love it
This might be the ONLY song in the entire franchise that can go toe to toe with X vs. Zero.
@@NightmareZerogbs *Points at Vs Crimson Dragon*
we need that megaman anime lowkey shit would be fire af
Japan had the foundation for one with the megaman zero commercials that only aired in Japan, fully animated, it was awsome, so maybe we could get one one day
ive never played this game, but this song is amazing and beautiful, ty for the upload ♥
should check it out the zero series is probably the best megaman has to offer.
@@TheDarkKRoo Zero 3 is the best Mega Man PERIOD!
This is the best final boss theme song ever made, just saying. Every single fucking song in the zero series is perfect.
yup, ive never even played this game but i fucking love this song. its simply amazing ♥
Still think it is 7 years later!
Zero: "I never cared about justice, and I don't recall ever calling myself a hero... I have always only fought for the people I believe in. I won't hesitate... if an enemy appears in front of me, I will destroy it!"
Ciel: "Zero... ZERO!"
Zero: "Ciel... believe in me."
Ciel: *"ZEROOOOOOOOO!!!!"*
Dr. Weil: "I am an endless nightmare!"
*WARNING*
I think this theme is one of the best Megaman boss themes ever, the Sorrow, Anger, determination, and regret that was in Zero himself. He let it all out and destroyed Wiel with it, This theme perfectly fits the emotions for the fight, and Zero's last words, it's just like Zero, never go down without a fight, and even kill himself to save humanity and the last bit of nature, it shows that Zero was a true hero, and more of a human then Wiel. and yes, I know he's a reploid.
Such an incredible theme for Zero's last battle
This boss battle and this song, is one of the best out of many.
Perfect final boss music for a Perfect final boss for a Perfect final stage for a Perfect final quote for a Perfect final MMZ game. it's just perfect...
Diogo Ayres Just too perfect....
Sucks that the previous games before it wasn't as good though.
Diogo Ayres I don't find the final boss to be terribly perfect. There's one major flaw: If you give your FB a short timer, do NOT make it invincible for long periods of time.
Cannon Ball
this song single-handedly cemented my eternal love for post rock when i first heard it as a kid
OUR FIGHT WILL BE LEGENDARY
I played this at my attic and all rats there are headbanging to this.
If you watch this and then go into the Comments you know your gonna see someone or Multiple people saying Zero's last Words
Justice! Freedom! Worthless Ideals!
In X timeline Zero fights to protect, but he hesitates
But In ZERO timeline, Zero knows exactly what he is fighting for, and without any hesitation.
One Of the Greatest Final Bosses in Video Game History
THIS GUITTAR IS INCREDIBLE

While we may never see him again, I REFUSE to believe Zero perished. He's come back after worse. Hell, he's kept fighting with only his head, torso and ONE DAMN ARM!!!
Zero lives...
LONG LIVE ZERO!
I never cared about justice, and I don't recall ever calling myself a hero... I have always fought for the people I believe in. I won't hesitate... If an ennemy appear in front of me I will destroy it !
Ciel... Believe in me !
Spoken like a true badass, Zero an epic character until the very end.
i fucking love this theme it's perfectly befitting a final encounter with like 20 games of build up to it
"I never cared about justice! I don't recall ever calling myself a hero! I always fought for the people I believed in! I won't hesitate... If an enemy appears in front of me, I WILL DESTROY IT!!! Ciel...Believe in me!!!"
Giving his power to a normal Spirit is wrong. This is a boss battle, and he becomes a Legend Spirit upon defeat.
This is when Zero delivered one of the coolest speech ever in the whole gaming history, which was accumulated from the journey since MMX to MMZ.
still probably the best final boss music I've ever heard. so climactic and full of dread and struggle and heavy odds.
Continúa en nuestro corazón 🙌🏻!
this is when our manliness was truly put to the test
I know what video are you talking about... I think the video was taken down cause' copyright reasons, maybe all the channel.
@@OverlordAbraxas whatever the reason, he made another channel but its a bit hard to find and i can't post links.
search "remastered arrange ver megaman zero 4 " and it should be from a channel called
"ブレイズチャンネル[Blaze Channel]"
search his vids and you'll find the one with this song, its the final stage - ragnarok core
It was the most badass way to go, sacrificing yourself to stop armageddon knowing full well you're not gonna make it, but if you don't EVERYONE dies...the fact that the battle has a timer is insane and REALLY gets the adrenaline rushing.
holy shit dude its christmas now and I got the perfect timing for the fireworks when da guitar just came
fucking awesome
As of this comment, I'm getting ready to face off against Weil in MMZ4 in the Zero/ZX Collection and I plan to make him pay and send him straight to hell for all the manipulation, chaos and genocide he perpetrated. Times up old man.
Mega Man 11 showed that Dr. Wily's initial goal was to make robots into heroes. Well, the Zero series shows that he certainly succeeded in the end.
I can picture Zero finally defeating Weil, but now it just cuts to him screaming in pain as he breaks apart and falls to his heroic demise.
2023 And it's still my favorite song, thanks for existing megaman zero❤🌹
Megaman Zero/ZX collection has been announced for PS4,Switch & PC for next year
Weil: You can't defeat me!
Zero: Meeeeeeh Justice!
This battle is hard, especially with the time limit, but it's sound track kicks asses
god dam why would a description be like this...
2:47 ここからの甲高い音でなってるギターの音がシエルの悲痛な叫びに聞こえてくるの辛い…
120 seconds on the clock. 3 life bars. Good luck.
He's Fallen and he cant get up.
All reploids need life alert.
Accurate
Such a bad-ass track, it gives me the shivers whenever i listen to it. Truly Epic!
Falling down the stairs
Imagine falling up
“Ceil... Believe in me.”
ZERO!!!!!
This song makes me want to trade in my acoustic guitar for an electric
@shadowniczero
I do agree that Zero's death was kind of a bummer.
