Cooper makes me think of D.B. Cooper and Coopers IPA and Millennial white guys, whereas Nacho makes me think of the hilarious movie Nacho Libre and Jay’s favorite food and Puxan. But what’s done is done, lol!! My roommate has a Chihuahua-Pug mix that’s really grown on me, too. I’ll settle in with Cooper, eventually.
You got a Boston!! I am so excited for you, Jay. I was owned by a Boston and he was simply the best dog I've ever had. A perfect little gentleman is 100% correct for this wonderful breed.

Cooper is bloody gorgeous and he'll be such great pal for you. He's lucky to have such caring dad. What a cool life in Paris he'll have. We started off with a light weight crate but graduated to a metal job in a very few days. They are smart creatures and it's all a game.

These last two videos - it's been like having a newborn baby, turbocharged. You sound just like a new (human) parent. I thought Cooper suited him best - good choice. And he is such a Parisian dog already - chic woolly sweater, travelling in a shoulder bag. It's lucky you're here, where shop and cafe owners are more relaxed about letting animals inside.

WHAT A CUTE PUPPY
Glad you got Cooper and he seems like a beautiful friend, he has typical puppy behaviour a bit of separation angst is NOT a separation problem but he is so new to your place , that he is confused and a bit scared , this will end once he knows your routine . He sleeps like any puppy and small dog behaviour. He will have many accidents and our dog goes into his cage and scratches the floor as if he is making his bed but angrier, it’s funny,, his cage is “his” place so he is allowed to do anything he wants, he sometimes wants it messy sometimes he wants it dirty and sometimes he wants to bring in his “friends” in with him. Cooper later on ( after teething) might want to have his owned stuffed “friend” ( sometimes bigger than him ,so he can snuggle or attack it!) By the way I am sure you have noticed by now, having a dog makes you meet more friends, male or female. Everyone smiles and wants to pet him and for now snuggle him.

Love the name. It was high in my list when I got my dog but she was ultimately named Pepper. First week or so is the hardest. My husband actually slept with her overnight for days! It’s nice that Cooper is so portable as I live the puppy /man bag. This is also a good way to meet new people!🤞🐶
I'm just now catching this. Cooper is adorable! I can't wait to see more adventures, but it appears that he's not all that impressed with Paris. I can't believe you can take him inside the cafes and restaurants. That's cool.
I picked up my dog, also named Cooper, almost 13 years ago. I spent several weeks constantly training , cleaning messes and wondering what I had done! I went back to work at about the 8 week mark and thought I might have to re-home him but I worked it out. 13 years later I cannot imagine these years without him and it has gone by so fast as I now lament the short time he has left on this earth. You will get there and then it will be easy and so fulfilling!

Great video. Just what I needed to see. My dog died Wed. night & I have been crying ever since. I have had dogs since I was 4 years old & almost never been without. I have been working with a Miniature Schnauzer rescue for some years now, ever since I lost my last Schnauzer when she was 16. I had the dog I just lost for 10 years. She was a permanent rescue as we were unable to get her adopted. Dogs enrich your life. Unconditional love is a wonderful thing. Keep training Cooper, maybe go to a puppy obedience class for a combination of socialzation & training. And please keep showing us more video of Cooper.Who knows, Cooper may become more popular than you!! Perhaps he can have his own You Tube channel...

Awww Jay, I haven’t caught up with you for a while as I got a puppy over lockdown pretty much the same time as you. My Ava is now 9 months old and she is so cute. Your puppy is just so cute. It is nice for you as you have a buddy and living in Paris you can take him most places!

Second time watching this video, was feeling cranky this morning but the puppy is fun. In Ontario, Canada you can't bring dogs into stores or restaurants. You have to leave them at home. You are lucky there.

Literally one of my favorite videos and I’m only 1 minute in.
Cooper is so cute. My pup is 5 years old, first year is rough! It might help if you get a little corral so when you need to do other stuff he’s in a safe area and not in the crate so long. Also a baby monitor or app so you can watch him when you’re out. Thanks!
Yeah, figuring out a space for a corral would be great. Afraid my apt is too small though. Might have to temporarily pull out the coffee station

Congrats on wee Cooper and for doing your research as a new hooman dad to
his wee little self. Yes the leaving in crate is critical--as small doggo he will
always be held and adored plus petted by everyone and will seek that
constantly. The sound machines are a good option too-- see if he likes
listening to ocean or water sounds, nature, or white noise. In the summer
when window is open or if you end up getting more neighbours on the floor
he will hear all that and may start the howling.
Thankfully he seems totally unphased by neighbors noises so far! He's making huge strides

My wife and I are watching closely at your videos now to see how welcoming it is for him in the restaurants, when you traveled with him on the train to the beach to see if you ran into barriers. Finding holes on the RUclips arena is rare… clearly this is one of them. Will keep watching!

My Jack Russell Gigi is pretty laid back for a Jack other than ball, ball, and more ball. But if I get sad, depressed, or sick, she’s there pestering me. Also weirdly there when I shower!
What a good boy! My favorite part was the look of love on your face when he was snoring. I currently have 2 adopted Bostons and kept the names they came with. Chuck, and … So every time you say Cooper’s name in a video imagine a brown Boston in Dayton Ohio cocking his head in confusion. :)
