I have Amish neighbors and the woman get together to help clean each other homes. It’s usually things like windows, baseboards, walls, etc…. The extra things that help keep your home clean but takes more time. Then they all bring something for lunch to share. I am always amazed at the community they have and how they are so quick to help one another and always there for each other. It’s a very unique community they have. Encouraged me of how important it is for all of us to have and I think deep down we all desire that. Now I just need to get brave and start something 😅

Oh my goodness! I loved hearing what you have observed from the Amish women. That is so wonderful and I agree with you - I think it is what we all wish for deep down. This day and age leans more towards seclusion from each other, but we simply need each other - not matter how you look at it. Thank you for your wonderful comment and for listening to the podcast today!

Making friends as adults is so difficult and even more so when married with children.
